Initially working with Corey, but then moved over to work with Bryan. Corey said a couple of things to get us interested and excited that, simply put, were lies. Only once we had closed and moved in, did one of those things become apparent (It would have been impossible to know earlier). The other thing I asked about, was told it was incorrect by Bryan, and I decided to proceed knowingly. It's frustrating not to be able to take people at face value, so if you're going to buy a home then I suggest you triple check everything, then follow up in and get a response in writing. I did feel rushed ...

We bought our first home with great expectations and an abundance of nervous energy. While the pre closing experience was really impressive, the post closing thus far has been a challenge. Several issues observed under warranty and highlighted have slipped thru the cracks and just getting captured. Overall attention to detail also comes up short in a few places. Craftsmanship can be improved vastly.

The home itself is nice but the finishing touches not so much. In some spots the baseboards are awful, grout in the showers seem to be painted and one out of the three pendent lighting in our kitchen is a wrong shade of color and another cracked. We’ve been in our home for a little over a month and already had a/c problems and one of the toilets doesn’t work properly. We’re a little disappointed because the quality doesn’t compare to the price of the home and location.

Several items not revealed from Beazer during the building process. I only found out because of others building in the neighborhood. They do not provide a list of all standard features for your home design, and then are not forthcoming with what your upgrade options are (e.g. 8' interior doors, bricking on back patio concrete, etc.). Basically they give you a 20 page list of all upgradable fixtures and then you have to figure out what is already upgraded in your model vs. what you can upgrade to; its a basic "highlight" activity put on the buyer. Closing was so disorganized that it ...

Overall our home is very nice, but I feel like it was not finished out well. The trim/caulk/paint are shoddy at best and it feels like the guys finishing the house rushed as much as possible. We had issues with things not being hung straight even after multiple attempts to hang them.

The quality of the materials and workmanship have a lot to be desired. Caulking on the base boards was over filled and not cleaned up the way it should have been. The edges of the tile that had been cut in the bathroom did not match the tile because it was red in the middle. It should have been grouted or painted! The doors were not squared up. The paint was thin and cheap. Oh by the way I have 30 years as a contractor. Homes today are slapped together fast and sold even faster!

The care that went into building the home was not up to our expectations. We had to many issues with trash and food being left in the walls of the home when building. Once we moved in, we started to notice that nothing was painted on the underside. Window seals, ledges, counter areas. The caulking in every room must be re done, it is all pulling away and creating gaps. The AC does not cool all the rooms the same. Three room are much warmer that the master bedroom or the living room. The issue with having to have a pool pass, and then having to drive a hour away to go get it one is beyond ...

We purchased the home for fast buy. We completely love the floor plan of the home we are not completely satisfied with the quality. Such as, the dish washer is awful, it is cheap and doesnt clean the dishes. I actually had mold on the dishes from the moisture in the dish washer. The bathroom shower rod is so cheap it fell apart when we tried to use it and we had to replace it. One of the front windows is not sealed correctly, when the weather is windy you can actually hear and feel air blowing in thought the closed window. There are already places outside that need to be repainted because they weren't prepped well. Particle board cabinetry is showing problems within a couple of weeks. They give no choice in landscaping, so we've had to pull ugly plants to put in nice ones.

We love our home and it will be perfect with a few adjustments but do think several quality checkpoints were missed along the way thus creating a very stressful close process. Day of close there was sour trash left in the garage that attracted roaches and left a smell that took several days to rid. The paint job is the worst I've ever seen on a house. Several repairs had to be done after close so we could close on time. Our sales Rep has always been great but the build process could have gone smoother had projects been handled better.

Initially, I was convinced that this home would live up to my expectations. However, during the walkthroughs, I began to notice the imperfections and details that I had overlooked. If I'm reviewing the homebuying experience and not the house, this is between 1.5-2 stars. First of all, from October through February we were told we'd be closing mid-May, and then all of a sudden in February the closing date gets changed to March. This late notice resulted in us having to spend an extra $3000 on rent because we had to make a decision on extending our lease before the new close date was communicated. And then, as we are a few weeks from closing apparently our Beazer rep left the company. Did anyone from Beazer pick up our account in his place? Of course not. Meaning we never ...

We had a frustrating experience with Beazer Homes during the purchase of our new home. Despite some positive interactions with the construction manager, several issues have left a sour taste. Unresolved Issues 1. Unauthorized changes to contract: A random broker's name was added to our contract without our consent. Beazer then removed their own name and re-added it at closing, which felt deceptive. 2. _Restrictions on customizations_: We were not allowed to make changes to the home, such as paint or carpet upgrades. 3. _Poor yard conditions_: The backyard is prone to flooding, has poor ...

Moved in and saw some things were missed with the final walk through. Additionally, some things were completed after walk through which left a mess. No one has cleaned it up. My yard is a mucky swamp with green slime destroying the shared fence. Some contractor walked through paint after final walk through and it’s all over my pristine sidewalk and entryway. Product overall is highly over priced! Right now a/c is not working correctly. Called a/c service several times since it is on warranty and get the same old story each time. Since I moved in it’s been one headache after another. After a week and a half of sticking bandaids on things after I moved in the entire hot water heater needed replacing, as well as a breaker and toilet. My lights constantly flicker and my ceiling fan makes noises and wakes me up at night. The service providers Beazer recommends are awful as well. I have not had 1 week of uninterrupted internet service since I moved in. I work from home. The energy savings they were so proud to sell to me have not materialized even a little. Do not trust that appliances will work just because they look new. Run each appliance through a complete cycle (especially washer & dryer) or to maximum capacity, as applicable. Damage to unit between closing and taking possession. Beazer makes it nearly impossible to deal with these issues. I didn’t enjoy my home buying experience because the building of my home was not a great experience for me. I feel that the higher management should check more on the building of the homes so that some of these many mistakes can be alleviated.
