Beazer Homes Reviews in Houston, TX

Several items not revealed from Beazer during the building process. I only found out because of others building in the neighborhood. They do not provide a list of all standard features for your home design, and then are not forthcoming with what your upgrade options are (e.g. 8' interior doors, bricking on back patio concrete, etc.). Basically they give you a 20 page list of all upgradable fixtures and then you have to figure out what is already upgraded in your model vs. what you can upgrade to; its a basic "highlight" activity put on the buyer. Closing was so disorganized that it basically ruined what should have been a very exciting day! Notary showed up an hour and a half late, funding took nearly two hours, Beazer did not include the plot plan that is required to be signed by the purchaser in the closing documentation so a delay of nearly an hour, wasn't even offered to take a photo of the purchase or signing. Nearly $400k and without even the basic standard celebration or captured memory by the Beazer-chosen Title company. It was a wait, sign, wait, wait, wait, "here ya go", leave exercise. 35 - 40 Beazer closings a week at that location (per the Title company) and complete disorganization. A gentleman buying 1 street over from me was there for 3 hours waiting on funding just to find out that it had funded earlier in the day. He was equally upset. Both of my neighbors finished building before me and when they closed they were welcomed home with celebration signs in the yard from Beazer. Me? Nothing. May seem petty, but a HUGE investment for a single female and without even a word from the receiving builder. You're welcome, Beazer. I highly recommend Beazer homes. They go that extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. Ken, Troy and their respective teams worked long hrs. to make sure our house was build the way we wanted. We were amazed as to how clean their crews are and how they all work with a great attitude. When we purchase home, we were limited to what could be done to fix some of the issue we found prior to the closing, per the builder we either take the way it was or they will find another buyer and after checking with their manager they advise that none of the outstanding issues couldn’t be fixed, now I have this issues on my lap trying to have them fix when they could have done this prior to my closing. NOT HAPPY, I will not recommend no one here.

Great, fast build! Everyone was really friendly and easy to work with. Scheduling went well about 90% of the time. The only issue we had was that we were not told that a garage door opener did not come standard in the house until we were in our second to last walk through. Otherwise no issues with our home!

We purchased a new home from Beazer Homes. It was a great experience from picking out the lot, to working with the design center and the builder. They even have service after the sale.

My experience with Beazer Homes has been outstanding from the sales person to the superintendent of the builder. I love my new home and the layout (Bandera) is perfect for us!

Builder and salesman were both very detailed and eager to make our experience a positive one.

Bought home in TX while living in Eden Prairie, MN. The Beazer team took on every concern from afar as if the team were going to buy the home. My proxy home inspector was very impressed with the response to indicated problems. After move in there have been no followup issues for Beazer to correct. Impressive. I note may homes under construction in the neighborhood are Beaser homes and neighbors are happy with their homes also.

Great experience

The houses are great, just a few things/issues we have that we brought up before the 30 days of closing and told us they will fix which they did some but we are still waiting for the rest it’s been 2 months now. I don’t think it will be resolved. I would of rate a 5 other wise.

Overall our home is very nice, but I feel like it was not finished out well. The trim/caulk/paint are shoddy at best and it feels like the guys finishing the house rushed as much as possible. We had issues with things not being hung straight even after multiple attempts to hang them.

Everyone with Beazer Homes has been very helpful. I am very satisfied with my new house.

Fit and finishes were terrible, sales people and construction manager made us feel stupid for bringing up certain issues

The decision to downsize was easier once we saw the beautiful floor plans available. We attended the weekly open houses at the Design Center and had all of our upgrades in mind before our appointment to choose selections. Our builder Kevin communicated with us several times a week and we felt very involved during the entire building process. He also delivered our beautiful home on time, perfectly in sync with the estimated timeline. Even our private home inspector we use when building told us Beazer builds a solid home.
