Not a great experience to me as a first time home buyer. What we heard was a top notch level about this builder and what we experienced is totally a disastrous feel with so many quality issues and incomplete work and not happy with the way home was delivered to us.

All interactions with Beazer representatives were positive and responsive. The customer service and customer experience we received throughout the entire process was excellent. This is our second time building with Beazer and we have zero regrets.

The builder is great. Their plans are great. Just that the pandemic has caused a lot of demand and shortage of resources makes it hard. However the buyer still pays the premium and does not make sense delivering homes with a lot of cosmetic issue from damaged doors to improper painting.

i am not sure because of the pandemic or in general there are like this...they have left lot of things pending and missed from day one.....we reached out to them so many times i have not got positive response back....they take months get things done..

We had a great experience with Beazer. They were helpful and didn’t try to sell us things we didn’t need. There were some construction delays but that is likely due to things out of their control (pandemic delays etc).

We're very pleased with our newly built Beazer home. From the moment we selected our plan until we were handed the keys, we felt our salesperson and the construction manager were responsive and did everything to make our experience fantastic.

Have had to call the builder multiple times to fix issues identified during walkthrough and some are still not fixed 2 months after closing. The lawn work has been very shoddy, plant are uprooted and dying in spring itself.

Great overall experience!!! Would definitely recommend!!! Love my new home!

Beazer isn't worried about building a quality home. They immediately after closing turn you over to the warranty department and any problems are ignored.

The style of the model was great however the detail work could be improved as can the follow up and fixing of the issues

My Beazer team was incredible from sales, design and the punch list guys. Building a home during the pandemic was stressful but it was lessened by the team I worked with.

The buying and closing were the easy part but once occupying the space was a different story. I would recommend the builders to give the new home owners at least 30 days vs the 10 days for post move-in inspection. Many of us like myself did not move into the house immediately after closing, it was a few weeks later due to my lease and not living in the new home, it's not enough time for the 10-day inspection. I understand there is also a 11-month follow up but if a home owner is given 30-days, it may minimize the 11-month follow up inspection list and issues from occupancy. I have been in my townhouse for a little over 2 months...my biggest disappointment especially for being over $500k, that I can hear my neighbor going up and down the stairs at all hours...I understand that the stairs not being carpeted will cause this but unacceptable for a property over $500k. Also, the way the bedroom is configured with the placement of HVAC vent and cable hook up, there is no choice but one for bed placement in the room so hence hearing your neighbor go up and down the stairs at all hours and whatever they are doing. Having to work from home during this pandemic and working 14-16 hours a day, when I go to bed I want to relax and not hear my neighbor going up and down the stairs at all hours and hear them moving around and/or whatever they are doing. If I had known this I definitely would have NOT bought this townhome. Also, I have noticed poor installation of cabinetry in my kitchen (broken) and sloppy tile work in my master bathroom, paint smears in my hardwood flooring, deep scratches which they could not fix with filler, and sloppy paint job throughout the house which is not noticeable during normal daylight but at night and from artificial lighting. I am also disappointed that there is no additional electrical outlet in the master bathroom, or master bathroom toilet room or stairwells. I am also disappointed that there is no light in the pantry. Also, I think the HOA should maintain the sidewalk portion of the grass area since many residents have dogs and cause urine damage...maintaining the sidewalk portion of the grass should not be the responsibility of the resident. Just saying, for paying $520k for a townhome, I expected more from the builders. ... More

I love this location, I chose the Brightwood model for the main floor living. The views from the windows are probably the best in Potomac Shores! However, as this may be one of Beazer's largest floor plans in Potomac Shores, not enough thought was given to create better options to utilize the space, I have a laundry closet, the smallest pantry, and there are literally three doors in my bathroom. I have lots of ideas to use this space better, like perhaps moving the laundry room to the basement to open up pantry space on the main level. Also, I love the master bathtub, but there could have been a better location which would give me more counter space as oppose to two separate sinks. During COVID-19 this experience was definitely not what I expected. There are several areas which need updating, the workmanship wasn't too great, The appearance of paint over debris, and windows we can't open because the screens don't keep the bugs out. Also I have to pay to have the sump pump drain routed underground due to the water pooling in the back yard creating a swamp. Also, the flooring was installed and not leveled, so that had to be corrected. Beazer has a very good reputation for building a solid product, which is why I chose this builder. I would be glad to speak to someone about the Brightwood design. This home is filled with space that could be better utilized. Had I seen this model before purchasing, I may have asked for some changes. That said I am getting adjusted to the newness of the home and working with the onsite reps to have repairs addressed. ... I bought a brand new home thinking less issues than a remodeled home. Boy, was I wrong. Having nearly two dozen of documented issues after settlement, several homes with water damage because they refused to install roof patio gutters and all that water pouring into the homes, electrical outlets and appliances not wired properly, crooked island issues, missing trim, grout, drywall mud, etc., the list from my house and others are endless. Most are very unhappy with dealing with all of these builder quality issues with contractors in repairing shotty work on things not done at all (missing) or done with poor quality needing re-done. Although Beazer Senior Management is addressing the issues, there is no reason why all these homes should have all these issues. It proves the lack of good contractors and sub contractors that Beazer hires. Might want to consider other builders more seriously. ... More
