A Buyer’s Warning – From Contract to Warranty, A System Built to Avoid Accountability

From day one, this experience has been marked by deflection, evasion, and a clear imbalance of power. I wasn’t allowed to inspect the home before committing — issues like a cracked garage slab and mismatched fixtures were only visible through windows. David blocked walkthroughs, and when I canceled, Keith refused to commit to any timeline. Despite that, Beazer deposited my earnest money before the end of my 5-day review window — and then forced me to wait weeks for a refund based on non-existent contract clauses. After reluctantly restarting the process, things only got worse post-closing. ...

Beazer Homes responded:
We truly regret that your experience has not met your expectations, and we want to acknowledge the concerns you've raised. At Beazer Homes, our goal is always to ensure every homeowner feels supported from the contract through the closing and beyond. Your initial concerns you mentioned before closing, we understand you had questions about access and various construction items. While we work diligently to balance construction safety and scheduling with visibility into the home, we know that this can sometimes cause frustration. Despite those concerns, we appreciate that you chose to move forward with the purchase. Since closing, our records indicate that our customer care team has actively worked with you to address your submitted requests, including HVAC and appliance concerns. Our field teams and trade partners, including Whirlpool and HVAC technicians, have responded to your reported items and, in some cases, confirmed that the systems are performing within expected specifications. That said, we respect that your expectations may differ, and we’re sorry that our resolutions have not met your satisfaction. We are committed to honoring our warranty obligations and providing the service you deserve. We understand that clear communication is essential, and we will continue to review our internal processes to ensure timely and helpful responses. If there are any unresolved issues or new concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly. We want to make sure everything is documented and addressed appropriately. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. It helps us improve, and we wish you the very best in your new home. – Beverly ...

Quality is absolute garbage.

You read the title. Everything in the home within the first month has garnered scrutiny due to the absolute lack of quality control. Maybe slow your production and revenue stream in favor of customer satisfaction. I heard there’s a buyer’s market on the horizon…would hate to have bad reviews when that comes along.

Beazer Homes responded:
Stuart, we are sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. The team at Regal Chase 2o2 would like the opportunity to extend a helping hand in this matter.  Please feel free to contact the New Home Contact Center at (888) 623-2937 to discuss further. Miserable

This home was not ready for closing. Too many issues which I am still trying to get fixed. Things pointed out during pre construction and pre drywall were never fixed. Options paid for but installation is atrocious. I have paid good money to try to address design deficiencies because of your minimal cutting corners on the hvac. Mold and condensation should not be present a week before closing. Multiple missing or poor workmanship everywhere and now Beazer wants me to be the person who has to know what is missing or wrong to get Beazer to do anything. I am disgusted with the lack of ...
