We have been very pleased with our Bloomfield home. Our construction manager has been great.

Satisfactory, however when asked for help with a few items not heard a response yet

Transitioning out of the military was stressful, especially when trying to purchase a home while you're living in another state. Matt allowed us ample time to get our affairs in order and we were able to secure a home. We love the community and the house.

The buying process and quality of the home is impeccable.......my only high disappointment was we were told this neighborhood could have unground pools upon going to the city they stated the lots are not big enough per city code. When we asked the subdivision to help get a PD amendment for the community so we could have pools they told us NO we would get no help from them. The PD amendment will cost EACH of us residents who apply over $1000. As we were misinformed the subdivision should pay for this! Or at a minimum waive our HOA for next year that is also $1000. Very very very disappointing buying your dream house with plans (which was 100 % stated at the buying process) to have our oasis backyard to enjoy our home then to be told NO and the subdivision won't help. ... Overall happy with Bloomfield homes and the quality/Value of the work. The closing experience was as smooth it can be. As expected there will be few issues with the new home and missed/wrong workmanship and I have a bunch of them. But the support has been good if not super responsive. Being an inventory home but still under construction with the time available to make changes, I’d have liked to have some minor changes accepted but no flexibility was offered, which to me is a big sticking point. I had an excellent experience buying a house from Bloomfield Homes. From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress-free. The team was professional, responsive, and genuinely attentive to my needs. The quality of the home exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Paul was our salesman and he was great from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the house in the build. His team was responsive to all my requests for things to tweak before I moved in. They have been responsive to the minor warranty claims I filed since I moved in. I gave five stars for value for the price. I still feel that is all relative. Compared to other builders it’s similar price points. I think you’re getting more with Bloomfield, however, I still feel all homes are extremely overvalued in this market. I’m shocked I had to pay what I had to pay for a 2300 square-foot home, but it seems to be a much better build than other builders in the same price point. My kids and I are loving the house. I have not yet had it inspected, I will wait until I get closer to the end of my first year warranty before doing the inspection. That way if the inspector find anything it should be covered under warranty. ... More

Overall, the home was here as we agreed, but there a lot of things that could have been done better. Issue: Certain things were decided for us that could have taken our input. Discussion: While this is not a total custom build, a few preferences decisions could have been requested to make the experience better. For example, the builders mistakenly put an outlet on our fire place. Mistakes happen, which is okay, but they could have asked us if we wanted it or not. Instead, they just left it there and wired the entire living area through it. Recommendation: Indy should pose more questions throughout the process. Issue: Indy failed to communicate where the gas lines were in the neighborhood Discussion: In the model home, we saw a gas stove and found it that it only came with the deluxe kitchen. So we added a deluxe kitchen thinking we would get a gas stove only to find out a week before closing we don't have gas. Recommendation: Clearly communicate where the gasoline are so that buyers know what their investment consist of. Issue: Indy does not use her assistant Discussion: it seems as if Indy is the only one who knows anything. The assistants are not trained or informed on the process. Recommendation: Indy needs time to train her team so that they provide value to the process. Issue: There is not a deliberate effort to strive for EXCELLENCE. Discussion: The home is built with the EXPECTATION that several things will be wrong, instead of trying to get things right the first time. I am sure this is simply part of the business model, but that should be communicated early on. Issue: Out of state home buyers Discussion: We were out of state home buyers and was not able to be here for the entire process. Other home builders have several meetings with owners to ensure things are build to the desires. Bloomfield did not have ANY meetings between us selecting upgrades and the walk through. That should not be the case. The entire process takes about 10-12 months so things could change from the start to closing. Recommendation: (1) Bloomfield should have at least two more meetings before the foundation is poured and before dry Wall goes up. Recommendation: (2) if you are out of state, You need someone who really knows your house to check up on everything on a weekly basis. High Point: Home Warranty Discussion: It is EXCELLENT!!! But it has to be because the house is not built to be excellent. David even allowed me to use it just to get someone to come out to look at our grass. Thanks David. Recommendation: Use the home warranty for everything. High Point: Indy allowing Disabled Veterans Benefit Discussion: My favorite interaction with Indy is when she ensured that I got all the savings because I was a veteran. I'm not sure what authority she has, but everything went according to what she said. Thank you Indy. 3 of 5 stars. Trent, Francis and Joanna provided an outstanding team that always performed in a highly professional manner. Frances and Joanna communicated with us on every step of the way. We selected many finishes and details and made changes as necessary and they never blinked an eye. As the construction progressed, we were always kept up to date and any changes or interruptions were fully explained. Weather did cause us some delays but we just kept moving on. It was a pleasure working with Trent on the final inspections and processes and always felt that he was making the best result for us. Thanks to all involved for a great job. ... More

First time home buyer, and I feel like I was sold a dud. Warranty claims take forever to process.

I purchased a Bloomfield home in the Arrow Brooke community in Aubrey/Little Elm, based on the online pictures and the schools mentioned by the project office. However, the home is quite different from what was shown in the pictures—for instance, there is no fireplace—and the school districts are different from what was advertised, which feels misleading. I'm now struggling with the inconvenience of commuting 5 miles to send my kids to school.

Beautiful home and very well built, they take pride in quality not quantity, so far we love our home

Mandy is a great representative for Bloomfield. She was never too busy to answer our simplest questions and Rob has been there since completion to help us understand our new home and walk us through even the smallest issue. Thank you.

Overall building experience went well w/Bloomfield!We would suggest Bloomfield for building home.They gave us a date of move in w/o any real issues.The date to move in was correct and didn’t have to worry about any double moves.

Our journey started just coming to Godley to see a pre-existing home. It was a Bloomfield home, but was unavailable to see. So we decided to see a model, The Carolina, and fell in love with it. Ms. Francine was wonderful. She walked us thru the process and built our excitement. Kyle, our project manager, was patient and accepted every call of concern during the process. Overall it was a great experience. Ms. Lola and Rita were very helpful in picking our selections for our new home as well. Great location and great builders!

We got a newly built home from Bloomfield in Timberbrook. The process was smooth and stress free while dealing with our representative, Michael Herzog. We talked initially about what our needs were and we had nice options made available to consider. Michael was always quick to respond to questions or concerns, and he was genuinely engaging during the entire process. The home has been a nice living space that we will enjoy for years to come. I would highly recommend a Bloomfield home to anyone considering new construction or an existing home.

Our sales and the general contractor were awesome. They both main sure we understood the process. They made sure we felt comfortable asking questions! They also made time to discuss any issues and concerns that came about! The preferred lender provided an exceptional experience for us as we were first time home buyers!

We stumbled across the home and dropped in to see Jeff. He was great to work with. Third time buying a spec home for me and the process was seamless. Bloomfield makes a great product. I will change out the dishwasher soon I'm sure as it's not a quality one but other than that, everything is great!

Jacques made us feel comfortable during the process. He was helpful and kind. We wanted a house closer to our family and he was able to make that happen for us. Jacques is truly a blessing to us and I’m sure to more people. Anthony the builder was very helpful as well, he walked us through the new house and ensured to cover all the details possible. We highly recommend Bloomfield if you’re looking for a new home.

The process was super easy!! Everyone was really helpful and kind. Our house is absolutely beautiful and we love it !!!

Steve was so easy to work with. He was a man of his word throughout the entire process and worked with my family to ensure that we got a great deal on our dream home. He said early in the process that he would be able to provide us a better deal than any other builder in the neighborhood and in the end, after we shopped around, he was right. He beat the other deals we had on the table.

Stewart was absolutely THE BEST! If you’re not sure about home buying, he will eliminate all doubt. He was available for all questions and helped me tremendously throughout my buying process. I couldn’t have done this without him. Thank you Stewart.

Overall, the process is smooth and Bloomfield is pretty accommodating. You get a good quality home at or slightly above market value. Bloomfield needs improvement with the quality of some of their finished work. They have a “good enough” mindset and are ok with finished work not being quite right. Some of their subs do a great job and others are pretty bad. It’s the luck of the draw on who shows up to work on your house that day. A lot of the workers drink on the job which affects the quality of their work. There needs to be more oversight to help alleviate these issues. The office staff is friendly and they do the best they can to help. They are always available to answer questions and genuinely seem like they care. However, the left hand doesn’t always know what the right hand is doing and they are not on the same page. The design center needs to be revamped. The small room with tiny samples does not really give you a good idea on how things will come together. ... More

Stuart made my buying experience Very pleasurable. John has addressed every and any concerns in a professional and timely manner.

The allure of the home was that in the neighborhood there were various elevations. The homes were built in different styles versus cookie cutter homes. I love the bar, atty of different stone and brick combinations in the elevations floor plans. Unfortunately; I discovered lots of defects some have been properly repaired in a few. I’m still waiting on. When I did my exterior walk on the home, I don’t recall seeing the hairline cracks on both sides of the home. When I moved in, I noticed the cracks had been filled in with some type of silicone. I will give home some more time to settle and would like exterior cracks to be replaced with brick. A used faucet was put on the kitchen sink and outdoors a couple of weeks after they moved in a Spicket knob broke off, and I had to shut off my water. The plumber came out. Mason has been great with communicating and getting contractors out to repair some of the things, but I don’t know who knew about the cracks but someone did because they were repaired with silicone.
