My wife and I was very excited doing the building process of our new home. However, once we moved in our new home we noticed “Several” things were missed and over looked by the contractors. The quality, workmanship and materials used for our new home is very questionable. We are working with the building manager to rectify the quality and workmanship of our new home.

Shop around before buying a new house

Make sure you select the appliances and features yourself. I was shown a model house with a nicer look and appliances, but it's not what I got. The standard features are cheap.

The Perfect Home!

We were looking for the perfect home in 2021 when we saw an amazing floor plan in an existing property. Our realtor found the builder and made an appointment. There we found that perfect home and were able to customize everything to our wants. All thanks to Bloomfield. The build was long due to Covid but seamless. The sales, construction and support staff have been top notch. There ever minute and answered all of our concerns. Quality at it's best!

I am overall happy with our experience with Bloomfield Homes. We decided to select them since were willing to make a few custom changes for us, but it was unfortunate those items had to be managed by myself! Our so called project manager dropped the ball so many times I had to ask Community Manager who is really managing this construction. We selected the Carolina IV floor plan, but here are our top 10 items for future buyers to consider (especially those in master bathroom): 1) The entry rotunda lacks a closet if that’s important feature. 2) The master bathroom lacks a linen closet ...

We had multiple communication issues. I never felt like the updates we received were accurate. Several items from our walk through that were pointed out to fix that did not get fixed.

This is our first home and we loved that we got the opportunity to build. Overall correspondence was ok, thankful for Donna’s help. We couldn’t give a 5 star due to some of the issues with our brand new home. The paint is already chipping on our window sills, could be the quality of paint. The quality of our kitchen cabinets are very cheap. This could be because of supplies during Covid. Our house paint job is poor, as we find a lot of cosmetic issues. The overall buying experience was professional and every detail was explained. The quality of workmanship and the equipment is good. We are happy with the product. There were few minor issues during the walkthrough which is yet to be finished and the response is not great. After the move in there were few issues identified and needed quick resolution which seems to be a dampener.

Happy with home but could have been better.

1. Mailbox keys were lost and took 4 weeks to get resolved. 2. Trim on kitchen island was not adhered and came off. Hoffman came and repaired. 3. Drawer on kitchen island is hard to close. Hoffman came and repaired but I don't believe the fix will last. 4. Cabinets have scuff marks that were supposed to be repaired by contractor but did not happen. 5. Warranty items are not getting addressed

The house purchase process was awesome. Some hiccups came up and Vilente and Meagan were amazing. We have been in the home for 6 weeks. We have had some issues with the shelves falling, needed painting, cracks in the base boards, etc. when the shelf fell no one responded to our out reach. I asked Vilente to intervene and he got us a response. It still took a few days but the shelf has been reinstalled correctly. The wood is still exposed. There has been another 3 weeks and NO work has been done to the other items. This home is very expensive and the warranty items that are builder related ...

This was a truly awful home buying experience. Months and months of delays, closing date pushed back multiple times at the last minute, tons of issues still remain long even after move in. Bill was great during the process and much was out of his control, but the communication and follow up with the builder lead was and still remains very bad. He answers and communicates when convenient for him. This was a truly terrible building experience I’m just glad we’re finally in. Still waiting on things to be done. BUYER BE AWARE!!!

What is good is you can choose your lot and home design. The price stays the same after you sign no matter what hapoens invthe matket. What is bad is the communication. They had an issue with the heating and air unit due to demand. We got an explanation but no details. When we questioned it we got a snotty email back. Many times telling us they will give us our earnest money back and this lead to a lack of trust for us. All we wanted was details. Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. My home buying experience was not how I thought it would be.after we closed and moved in we found a lot of things that needed to be addressed.but should have been addressed before we moved in.we are still finding things that needs to be addressed.they are being addressed but slowly.
