I had a great experience purchasing my first home from Bloomfield. Doug is the GOAT. He made sure I knew about all change orders and there were no surprises when it was time to move in. From the signing of the agreement to the walk through and move in I am happy with it all. Not to mention but possible most important the home is not cheaply built. It is quality and beautiful. Almost feels like living in a luxury hotel.

It was a great experience for us buying with Bloomfield homes , construction closing date did not change despite a few material delays. The whole process was a smooth breeze. I highly Recommend

They will not care about you it’s all about business. Once you sign the contract their attitude will change

Bloomfield Homes Maplewood 2 is a subdivision where they feel we should receive less than the others home like Tree-farms, Daniel Farm. We should receive all the same type of attention and what we ask for at the time of picking out our design. Every home should not all look alike! When someone build a home other shouldn’t be allowed to go into their home while being built! Project management shouldn’t sign off anything unless.. they have actually checked it! More attention need to be made and making sure the buyer are happy and satisfied. The contract workers doesn’t care where they leave their trash! Portal podding on owner grass…not unacceptable! Worker digging hole in owner grass and no one knows why. Outside lights doesn’t work and once again…no one have time or care. Quality should always be before quantity…period! Find a professional interior designer who knows how to pick color and trimmed to bring out people home! Communicate is very poor and still don’t understand why we couldn’t have Cedar garage like the other Bloomfield home. I feel great division… we should have two walkthrough and 90 days for repairs that wasn’t completed!!! I could go on and on but will stop!!! ... More

As an experienced home builder, I thought this was not going to be a good experience. But I was wrong, their concrete slab is done correctly, the frame was as good or better than many I've seen. Their Team came in after the build to touch up and make small repairs. Just a few things, 1-I would have liked to choose my appliances grade, I would understand an up charge for this. 2-they should use H-clips in their roof sheeting or decking. There also could be another electrical switch in one place. This being said it's a good house. Would never buy a. Bloomfield again. Took 17 months to build my home and seldom if ever was I provided an update on the home. Communication is very poor with Bloomfield homes. I will say Jerry the builder did help us us and provided us with the answered we needed.

I am so in love with my house. Each day I fall more in love with my floor plan. I built the Hawthorne II plan and I can’t say enough good things about it. My builder Chet is amazing, knowledgeable, quick in responding to questions and follow-up. I don’t know how he keeps up with everything, but he does. He’s exceptional. Francine and her office team are the best. I feel at home and I know I made the right choice building with Bloomfield. Star Ranch is beautiful and quiet just like I had imagined and prayed for. I’ve met some really nice people here. I thought this was my retirement home, but Bloomfield is building up the street “Coyote Crossing “ , those 1/2 ace and acre lots have me making future plans. I only recommend things if they’ve truly met or exceeded my expectations, I can truly say Bloomfield has done that. The home process took too long and many repairs needed to be done when moving in.

My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. However, regardless of costs/market, there’s still some things on our new house that make you go “hmm….is this just cheap or did someone make a mistake?” Overall we are pleased. We like that Bloomfield put a drip system around the foundation as part of their new home packages, which will keep the foundation rock solid for years. That’s a big peace of mind. ... More

Scott was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Assisted in choosing the best home model and lot. Had a multitude of delays and hiccups along the way that Scott was task with keeping me abreast of, even though almost nine were of his doing. I feel the quality and workmanship of the home suffered because of a lack of supervision throughout the home building process. The trades are in such demand that I think builders are willing to sacrifice quality just to get someone on site. Many of the delays we suffered, in my opinion, we’re absolutely avoidable if our build would have been properly managed along the way. Overall, Bloomfield appears to be a good company but their lack of supervision on our home build process cost us much time and consequently money. ... More

The home building process as far as Contract, Selections and any preliminary issues was very good. The actual building of the home took extremely long. Approximately 14 months from contract. this was in part due to a change made by us at the beginning, however the biggest slow down was the shortage of trades to complete the work as well as some material shortages. Overall we are pleased with the house. while I would say it wasn't the best experience, I would do it again and I would recommend Bloomfield Homes.

Neutral not good not bad. Better to add landscaping on front and backyard so don’t need extra work and extra money. Community looks similarities and nice too.

I have unfortunately learned a hard lesson having a home built by Bloomfield. There has been many mistakes made resulting in a poor quality home. From drywall coming down in garage from a roof leak, to upgrades that were mismanaged & completed wrong. This build should be used by Bloomfield management as a case study to better understand the state of the company. I challenge Bloomfield to convince me to do business with them again. The Warranty department has reached out & started the process of fixing the quality issues. If warranty can pull this off, I will be sending out emails to upper management giving full credit to warranty for potentially saving a future costumer. I understand that there is currently more customers than ability to build, this will not always hold true. Companies should never compromise the present believing the future is Guaranteed. ... More

It is really hard to give a review on a product that for one reason or another was delayed 6 months. However, I would like to give 5 stars to Travis for his great job and effort to try to finish our home despite all the external issues. I’ve been in the house for a month and I’m really enjoying the house. There are a few minor issues that Bloomfield needs to come back to fix but overall I love my house.

Bloomfield kept their word when other builders did not regarding the locked in price of the home when rates continued to increase.

My wife and I are super excited about the buying experience. It was very smooth sailing. The manager was very good at keeping us informed through the entire experience. Not to mention that the homes here are gorgeous. I would highly recommend Bloomfield Homes for anyone in the market right now.

This is my second Bloomfield home, 4th build experience, I have also helped sell several Bloomfield homes, and this was the WORST sales experience. From the get go, Andy was slow to respond and almost cost us several thousand dollars due to a delay in signing of the contract AFTER we paid our honest money… after back and fourth he relented and gave us a discount. However that was only the beginning as he continued to either not communicate with us or not listen to us or even document what we wanted. During the design phase he argued with what we wanted and neglected to place our selections he disagreed with. This resulted in us as the buyer having to continuously remind Andy and caused undue delays. This includes cabinets not being ordered for upgrades, excluded or tile flooring in our kitchen, and other things. When it came time for our closing date he asked us for empathy and understanding, yet provided none for us. We were moving across half the country and the lack of communication from Andy resulted in multiple increases for the move. Near the end our date changed yet again, and yet again Andy neglected to tell us (title told us through or loan company), had I not known, he would have generated 5-10 thousand in losses between travel and care. Often times, the only way to get an update was for me to fly from my source state to Dallas to visit Andy physically as he almost never called or emailed me. Andy post close has neglected to follow up on his commitments, there is many more issues that I have with the sales process. I would expect this experience in a home between 100-250k but not at 3/4s a million… I am happy to discuss more if needed to help improve Bloomfield. I once was a STRONG advocate for Bloomfield to my peers, friends, family, and strangers, I am not sure that is the case due to Andy. I will say our builder Jeremy saved the day and restored some of my faith in Bloomfield. Subcontractors for bloom field seem to be a bit hit or miss this round. ... More

My move from TN to TX was made seamless with the help of Chris and his team. Chris communicated very well on the progress of my new home. I enjoyed talking to Chris about my new home. He made me feel like part of the Bloomfield family.

Great company and trust worthy

Quality is not in question - they built me a quality home. Trustworthiness - the CEO really set the bar high for what he expects from his company. There were other builders that were up charging their customers for the inflated costs or canceling and resigning customers. Bloomfield came out and said - The contract price is what we agreed and signed on and we will honor that price. In a market with tons of delays, issues, and unexpected issues that says a lot about the company. I had a chance to talk to the CEO - he truly cares about each and every house that he builds and care about his customers. My builder Travis was extremely open and honest about expectations. Travis was always respectful, professional, and very informative when you had a question, complaint, or concern. Travis wanted the best for his customers as well. Value and price - again for the quality and size of house - the price is what i was expecting and great value. Responsiveness - I think at times communications were a little bit challenging. I think there are a number of factors that contributed to that. If i could recommend anything to Bloomfield is every two weeks develop a schedule or a portal where the future home owner can go and check the status. Like simple things - whats on tap for the next few weeks, successes - like frames were delivered - i think this would put peoples minds at ease. I think if there are delays in this day and age - communicating that to the customer can help eliminate tension / stress during this time. I know in talking with the team at Bloomfield - doing that alone could be a full time job... so i don't know how to accomplish that successfully - but would be greatly beneficial. My wife and I decided it was time to finally move after 2 decades in our first home. A family friend recommended Bloomfield Homes after we had checked out several other builders. The #1 thing that I respect and appreciated about Bloomfield is the contract price was the price we paid for the home. I've heard horror stories of other builders in our area where this is not the case. The housing market is bizarre so that was peace of mind for us. We have had a few minor issues since moving in and closing but I have to give the team for our community an A in their responses so far. If there's anything to take from my review it is this, nothing or no company is ever perfect but from a Trustworthiness standpoint, I don't regret buying a Bloomfield home. Bloomfield honored the contract price even after one year of supply difficulties and supply price increases. They kept their promise to us. Outstanding.

Supply chain issues took more than a year to resolve. But the house is nice!
