Trent and his team did an awesome job getting the home together. After the home was completed, Trent made sure that if there were any deficiencies, which is to be expected when purchasing new, that he was there with his team to replace/repair immediately.

Our home buying process was absolutely amazing. Steve and Tamara are a delight to work with. They were both very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They answered every question that we had throughout the entire process and made us feel like family. Sean (Builder) was a delight as well. These individuals represent Bloomfield Homes to the fullest. The home itself is a breath of fresh air. My Wife and I speak about the love that we have for our home daily and feel that we will enjoy it for the rest of our lives. Very fair, even at the height of the market. They didn’t have us bid against other potential buyers. It was first come, first served, and that was much appreciated.

Mike is good pretty good at communication but overall not the best especially with the finance company.. The part of contract that we had to sale our home by roofing stage. But the Bloomfield is an estimate which essentially could have put us homeless with the estimate on Bloomfield’s side. We ended up purchasing a home which we had no choices. The plumbing line had to be worked on x2 in the first week due to construction debris not being taken care of. The water to the dishwasher was not connected. We contracted for our home in Nov of 20 with a projected completion date of Oct 21 but did not get to close on it until April of 22 in the Oak Hill Ranch development in Cross Roads. Bloomfield honored everything in the contract which was greatly appreciated. We were told about some of the delays that were associated with supply shortages and or damaged materials all during a global pandemic to boot. However, our sales manager left in late 2021 so transitioning to his replacement added to our overall frustration with lack of communication by Bloomfield team members. Frequently we asked for updates and or a schedule on when we could expect work to be done. It was hard to get them to respond and it felt like we were constantly initiating the dialog not them pushing us information. We did not obtain an actual closing date until the week of closing. While the team delivered on almost everything we asked for, they were more reactive than proactive in the final stages of the build, having to correct some improperly installed items. We were also put through an exercise to replace our flooring choice to keep things moving forward, but Bloomfield had no info or samples of the possible replacement flooring to look at or compare quality and warranty. In the future Bloomfield please do a better job of sticking to the schedule you set and have someone give frequent updates to buyers and be prepared with alternative solutions if needed, so they can understand along the way. ... We purchased our Bloomfield home at a time when prices were rising and the builder did not provide any incentives. However they used quality building materials and we were always in contact with our sales agent Dona and builder Eric. They always responded to any inquiries we had and our home came up great. We had most of the things we wanted but passed on some upgrades which we were able to do later. The experience was great but the bathrooms were not painted with semi gloss paint which we ended up doing ourselves. That needs standard on all their homes.

First time buyer n despite the long wait attributed by the pandemic I was always informed of every step and would highly recommend bloomfield.

Our overall experience has not been as expected, my previous two homes that I had built the process was much smoother. This process ended-up being very stressful and costly at the end. One of the many issues that my wife and I had was that it just took too long to build our house, one year and four months to be exact, that is a long time for a track home to get built. The frustration began, when we went to our in-home consulting meeting with Scott to pick out colors and other add-ons we would like to have in the home. Scott had no idea on how design and colors work, he primarily pointed at available materials, and quoted pricing. We realized that he did not know what he was doing, this caused this process to be extremely stressful and overwhelming. We have also heard this from other homebuyers when we inquired about their experience. We had to go back and forth looking at other homes on the property and web sites like Houzz to consider colors and add-ons which were not offered to us at the time. We are unsure why Bloomfield would not hire someone with some form of interior decorating skills. We also discovered from other home buyers in this community amenities that could been included or possibly upgraded to in our home that were never disclosed to us until after we picked out everything but it end-up being too late to add-on to the home. The other main issue I had was with our construction manager Ryan, it seemed like I was building the house myself, I came by the house a few times a week pointing out issues that he should have notice before me. Which prolonged the process because issues were not being addressed at the time, we brought them to Ryan. An example of this is when we told Ryan about the siding on the rear of the house being off when it was installed. Months went by and it was never addressed. Then a month before we closed, we stopped by, and the entire living room wall had been removed. The contractor said he had no choice because the window frame was the issue and that taking it out was the only way to fix the siding on the window correctly. We also paid for upgraded tile to be installed as the kitchen backsplash. When it was installed, the work was shotty. The grout lines were inconsistent, and the tile was not level. We also brought this up to Ryan at the time of install and at the walk through before closing. He said he would have it resolved by closing. On the day we closed the tile installer was at the house and he was in the process of knocking out a few tiles that he was instructed by Ryan to remove. I walked in as he was removing the tile. I noticed he was only removing a few tiles. The installer stated that he was only here to remove 3 tiles per wall but from his observation that it would only be consistent if it was all removed and replaced. I called Ryan while the installer was here, we discussed what we had previously talked about at the walk through which was to replace the backsplash with the box of tiles that was left over. Ryan stated that he would have to schedule for them to come out to replace the backsplash and that the tile installer that was there was not able to replace the entire backsplash. I advised Ryan that would be fine that we were not planning to move in until the first of the month. After a couple of weeks and no word from Ryan or the tile company to schedule the install, I reached out to Ryan, and he completely did a 180 and stated I ran off the tile installer and it could have been fixed that day. Even after all the frustration and misrepresentation dealing with Ryan, we through our hands up and I gave it one last ditch effort to work with Ryan. I told him I have a tile guy and we were willing to pay him to replace the backsplash but wanted to be reimbursed for the cost of the installation. He stated to me that it would have to be done by has tile company. On the week of our move in we were forced to pay $600 out of pocket to have the tile tore out and replaced at our own expense. Then to add insult to injury, about a week after we moved in, the tile company called to schedule an appointment to replace the tile. As a buyer of a Bloomfield home, we were never informed that we could change construction manager. If we knew that was a possibility I would have switched to Tim. From talking with him and seeing other homes that he has completed he has a better handle on his trades and the completion of the homes. Overall, we have a beautiful home, great neighbors and happy with our home. We are hope that we will remain so. ... More

In light of the ongoing pandemic, understandably there were some shortages. But 15 months we waited patiently for our home to be complete. There were months when it was dormant with no activity, no communication. At 12 months we began reaching out to the builder and no response by phone, email or text; When we finally arrived unexpectedly at the show house, we were told IT's Bloomfield policy to not communicate with pending owners, that's the job of the site manager. Unprofessional and rude! Before closing we were met with hostility and blatant disrespect , and poor craftmanship with several areas needing fixing before we signed. I would not recommend any new home owner to purchase here. Our experience was HORRIBLE!!!! After speaking with neighbors many have expressed the same complaints. Buyers beware!! The overall experience was good. Bill eas great to work with. On the other hand, Matt was unprofessional and could not be trusted to respond as requested or not at all. He failed to communicate or address issues that were presented.

We neither had a pre-construction meeting nor new home orientation. Quality is poor. AC didn't work for some time. Some items missing and damaged door left inside home. No response to emails when asked to remove it. We had to carry it outside and leave it at construction site. I wish I didn't move from my previous home.

Overall the home-buying experience with Bloomfield was very good. What I take exception to is to what happened after I signed the sales contract. Specifically, I was informed that the City of Forney imposed an easement for a gas line which required that my fence line was brought in by 20 feet . Therefore there is currently 20 feet x 65 feet outside my fence-line which I am required to maintain and for which I receive no enjoyment or use of. I believe Bloomfield should have renegotiated the price of the property since my home sits on a substantially smaller lot than what I purchased. Additionally, I believe the Project Manager could have been more accommodating when scheduling appointments with the buyer. Compared to the previous two builders that I have done business with, by far and I mean very far, my experience with Bloomfield has been superior from start to finish. I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials in my home and Bloomfield has stood by their word!

Doug was great throughout the whole process. He was very helpful from the day we picked our lot, and floor plan, till the day we closed. Brett, the building superintendent was attentive to all our concerns during the build. Overall we had a great experience with our first home.

Overall my experience was not all bad, i love the design and spaces in each room. Workmanship was not all great, after closing its been hard getting contractors to fix issues, a lot of things needed to br fixed, but really slow on getting them fixed.

Bloomfield homes provided me with a great experience. They accommodated for pretty much every need that I had and they were always in touch to provide me with the latest updates. They honored the price in the contract, and there were no surprises at closing. I'm very happy with the final product.

The salesman was great, but the length of time it took to actually build our house, was over a year, but now that is up is A Beautiful Home and worth the wait , but had to deal with pluming issues, only after being in the house 4 days

This is my 3rd and most expensive new build. Unfortunately, this has been my worst homebuying experience. First, my keys were given to me in a ziplock bag. Contractors did not clean home...in fact, carpets were stained from red dirt. My advice to other customers is to please make sure ALL repairs are completed prior to closing. This company only allows one (initial) walk through...they do not record recommended fixes. Approximately 80% of recommended repairs were NOT completed prior to closing. In less than 30 days, I have had 15+ contractors in and out of my home to fix different issues that should have been fixed before closing. But because they do not allow a 2nd walk through, there's no way to verify if repairs were completed. Hired contractors are subpar and does shotty "patch work ". Warranty department (Shane and Ralph) is very defensive and accusatory, doesn't honor repair requests in a timely manner. Contractors do not show up on appointment date/times. Warranty department states "they don't control contractors ". Overall, I would not recommend this company. The shell is gorgeous, but I believe several short cuts have been taken. Plus, customer service is everything when trying to resolve concerns...this company (my region) lacks professional. ... More

My experience was great. I went into contract before a lot of my features had been chosen so I was able to customize a lot of different elements. Jeff and Jordan were very responsive to any questions I had during the process.
