If the quality of the home matched the price or if this wasn’t a new build the review wouldn’t be bad but considering it’s a new build and high price I shouldn’t be fighting to get hole repaired.

Paul, Sandy, Ty and Jason were very responsive. During most of the construction I visited every day and was very impressed with the build. If I noticed anything unusual I would bring it to their attention and it was addressed- thanks. My only disappointment came with how the workers would toss their trash and construction debris into the front yard and then mash into the ground with the bulldozer, and it becomes a landfill. It doesn’t allow for the soaker hoses to absorb the water and when planting new shrubs, trees or anything often there will be debris in the ground. My suggestion would be invest in trash cans for the workers and trash containers to toss the debris in to avoid creating landfills, especially in the front yard. ... More

The overall experience was very frustrating and most of the frustration was unavoidable due to the Covid effect. Jeff always responded though no matter how many questions I had about my home. One thing I did come to appreciate is Bloomfield not cutting corners like I heard other builders were doing leaving buyers very upset with the quality of their home. The thing I hated most at times was the picture updates when the house was at a standstill. Sara was always a joy to chat with during those extended delays as well. Great company and quality home builders.

What stood out the most in this homebuying process was the people we encountered. From start to finish, they were caring, listened to our concerns, coached us along the way, and made us feel as if we were the only homebuyers in the world. Although we experience delays due to supply chain issues, I wouldn’t change anything. I’m all about service. From the day we walked into the model home to express interest, to the day we picked up our keys to move in, the Bloomfield team was simply amazing! From the start, they listened to our concerns regarding our contract as we were previously under contract which was canceled without notice from another builder. The Bloomfield team assured us that our contract would not be canceled on their end under any circumstances. I was still skeptical but my gut told me I could trust this builder and I’m glad I did!!! ... More

Excellent home value, and quality worksmanship!

We have been very pleased with our Bloomfield home. Our construction manager has been great.

The buying process and quality of the home is impeccable.......my only high disappointment was we were told this neighborhood could have unground pools upon going to the city they stated the lots are not big enough per city code. When we asked the subdivision to help get a PD amendment for the community so we could have pools they told us NO we would get no help from them. The PD amendment will cost EACH of us residents who apply over $1000. As we were misinformed the subdivision should pay for this! Or at a minimum waive our HOA for next year that is also $1000. Very very very disappointing buying your dream house with plans (which was 100 % stated at the buying process) to have our oasis backyard to enjoy our home then to be told NO and the subdivision won't help. ... Great experience for first time buying a home.

My experience was great. I went into contract before a lot of my features had been chosen so I was able to customize a lot of different elements. Jeff and Jordan were very responsive to any questions I had during the process.

I had a very good experience with Bloomfield. They were honest and didn't pass on the cost of materials when they were skyrocketing. The home is well-built and anything that's come up, they respond and address quickly. I would highly recommend Bloomfield!

We had to wait a long time due to material shortages but in the end it was all worth while. We love our new home and neighborhood. In fact I have convinced a buyer that to they should buy Bloomfield and just waiting for lot release in May.

I realize there are delays in construction but was disappointed in the delays we experienced while staying at a hotel with two dogs. Everyone has been great to work with.

Bloomfield was one of my top three choices to build my new home (the other two being Gehan Homes and Highland Homes). Bloomfield came out on top based on reviews, my sales rep. Patrice H. (Union Park), standard upgrades and incentives. The architectural details, features and quality stood out in all the models I viewed. I settled on the Dogwood model. And I've gotten lots positive remarks from friends and family for my floor plan selection. The home is very energy efficient and sound. There have been some quality issues with certain companies, but Bloomfield remained on top of things and made sure those issues were taken care of. Bloomfield staff was great to work with. I am very happy with my home.

Michael was always very informative when we had questions and listened when we had concerns during the process. We lived nearby during the building of the house and so we came by often to see the progress. If we had a question or concern he was very patient with us and if he didn’t know an answer, which was rare, he’d get it for us. We are very happy living in our new home and the house turned out beautiful.

Communication could be a little tighter, but overall a great experience.
