Overall, home is good value for money. As you get to build your own home, builder is responsive to onsite issues and makes good to correct the issues. After sales warranty support is spot on, with excellent follow up from builder (Gabriel) to ensure all items addressed by contractor. General workmanship on interior needs improvement, especially around sheetrock/painting (many scars left on the walls especially in bathrooms and around electrical outlets). House is touted as prewired for smart home, but with UPGRADED Cat6a points at the Access Points, the AP cannot support above a 100MB connection (direct wired to switch shows AP with good gigabit connection, but internal house wiring cannot recognize gigabit). Newer homes are not properly wired for power supply from fiber suppliers like older homes were done (noted by installer). 50' lots are quite narrow, with price premium for a wider lot quite high. ... Would choose Bloomfield again

Overall pleased with my home purchase; however, it would be beneficial to Customers if the the grading of the property and landscaping process is reevaluated for quality improvement. I spent my effort exculvating boards with nails, plastic bottles, and trash as well as covering irrigation lines. In addition, there is poor irrigation coverage and flooding in some areas that may require one or more service calls to correct.

Workmanship is great

Good choice of plans and they worked with us to get us what we wanted and needed.

Anything you get added, stay on top of asking about when it will be completed. We had a bathroom cabinet that we paid extra for and had to ask several times about, but eventually got it. The dishwasher isn't that great, it's so loud. Plan to have house inspected before first year end, but everything seems to be in functioning order and love the curb appeal of the homes Bloomfield designs. Overall, satisfied.

Excellent quality home, though market is generally 10% overpriced.

Love the house and feel it was a really good value. Sales guy was a bit of a stick in the mud as we were working on closing with our realtor. The guys on the build side are nice and helpful. The warranty guy is great very responsive and helpful. I’d recommend Bloomfield to others with some heads up for the process.

Possibly one of the more better built homes I’ve purchased. There’s no doubt the property manager, Lance was very attentive and offered his services many of times with his busy schedule. My only concern or issue is that I paid for an install of CAT 5 jacks on wall, assuming there would also be a media or home run box to come with. The jacks were there, but, none were hooked up nor connected and terminated. To me that makes no sense in half doing the work due to the cost.

We love the home we have built by Bloomfield Homes. The quality of workmanship and materials are of the top and the people who work with you for your home are very attentive and responsive. We love our home so far and enjoy our experience with Bloomfield Homes.

The buying experience was not bad at all. The house that we purchased is beautiful. The only thing I wish could have happened was at least one ceiling fan given as a courtesy. Especially for the price of the house that we purchased.

The purchase and building experience were great. We were always kept in the loop about delays due to supply chain issues. The house is our dream home and so far its been great. We love the neighborhood.

I would say that my over all experience with Bloomfield was good. I have some doubts that the use of Dryline External sheathing is very good quality. Other builders in my area are using better quality sheathing. Could be a supply chain issue. I get the impression Dryline is just cheaper. The sales people I dealt with were at times quite annoying. In the finishes process I wondered if they were sales people or the budget police. It was quite strange at times. Over all I would say Bloomfield is a quality company. A deal is a deal in a time when many builders are not honoring contracts. I would definitely use Bloomfield again. ... More

Quality is not in question - they built me a quality home. Trustworthiness - the CEO really set the bar high for what he expects from his company. There were other builders that were up charging their customers for the inflated costs or canceling and resigning customers. Bloomfield came out and said - The contract price is what we agreed and signed on and we will honor that price. In a market with tons of delays, issues, and unexpected issues that says a lot about the company. I had a chance to talk to the CEO - he truly cares about each and every house that he builds and care about his customers. My builder Travis was extremely open and honest about expectations. Travis was always respectful, professional, and very informative when you had a question, complaint, or concern. Travis wanted the best for his customers as well. Value and price - again for the quality and size of house - the price is what i was expecting and great value. Responsiveness - I think at times communications were a little bit challenging. I think there are a number of factors that contributed to that. If i could recommend anything to Bloomfield is every two weeks develop a schedule or a portal where the future home owner can go and check the status. Like simple things - whats on tap for the next few weeks, successes - like frames were delivered - i think this would put peoples minds at ease. I think if there are delays in this day and age - communicating that to the customer can help eliminate tension / stress during this time. I know in talking with the team at Bloomfield - doing that alone could be a full time job... so i don't know how to accomplish that successfully - but would be greatly beneficial. My wife and I decided it was time to finally move after 2 decades in our first home. A family friend recommended Bloomfield Homes after we had checked out several other builders. The #1 thing that I respect and appreciated about Bloomfield is the contract price was the price we paid for the home. I've heard horror stories of other builders in our area where this is not the case. The housing market is bizarre so that was peace of mind for us. We have had a few minor issues since moving in and closing but I have to give the team for our community an A in their responses so far. If there's anything to take from my review it is this, nothing or no company is ever perfect but from a Trustworthiness standpoint, I don't regret buying a Bloomfield home. The salesman was great, but the length of time it took to actually build our house, was over a year, but now that is up is A Beautiful Home and worth the wait , but had to deal with pluming issues, only after being in the house 4 days

Just moved into our home a few weeks ago and looking back it was a wild ride! Supply chain issues, employee turnover and a volatile lending market added to the drama but in the end our Bloomfield team delivered an outstanding product. Home builder/Project Manager Jerry was under a lot of pressure but juggled a lot of balls to get us in in; still a few items on the punch list but we're overall very happy with the end product and would recommend Bloomfield to anyone considering a new home.

Overall experience was very positive. The project manager was very responsive to our questions and concerns.

The experience has been great so far! The team here at Buffalo Ridge has been very helpful and professional as well. I'm truly happy with the house.

Channa was a great project manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even after I closed on the home. There were some hiccups along the way but she did what she could to remedy them.

I enjoyed the overall process, but didn’t enjoy how dirty my house was during the building process. The wood floors were filthy throughout the build process. They should have kept them covered until the build was finished. I also asked for an upgrade that was approved by the builder and then was later told that he didn’t want to do it. That should never happen! If it’s approved during the build process then they should proceed as promised.

Everyone was attentive and kind throughout the entire process.

Chet Cameron was my builder he was amazing. He was on top of everything and if he didn’t notice anything and I told him he was on it right away with out hesitation. And just made the home building the best it could be during the pandemic.

I referred a friend to buying a new construction house with Bloomfield, he moved in faster than mine.
