The entire process was smooth sailing. I greatly appreciated the continuous communication from the project manager, quickness of answering any questions and addressing any and all concerns. I would highly recommend Bloomfield Homes for there attention to detail, customer service, and professionalism!

Wish I could write a great review but unfortunately the process was the worst I have had when buying a new home. Already having issues with pipes leaking delays from having simple tasks done. One would assume that when you purchase a new home you have no concerns when it comes to things breaking. wish this was the case. We love the home and the value but just trying to have minor or major repairs done is a extremely difficult task. I understand things break but good service is when you are able to have the repairs done in a reasonable time. Selling agent was rude to our realtor and refused to provide updates. Bloomfield home has the best craftmanship I ever encountered, grant it, this is my 4th home and the best.

The 3rd party contractors were sloppy. There didn’t seem to be much care of respect for the property they worked on. Sod was not laid the best. Paint was literally everywhere from door to door. Gouges in the floors. Stains in my sink and tubs. Kitchen counter tops were stained. For such high cost high quality homes, the 3rd party contractors should be better. The lack of wi-fi capable products in 2022 is also a bit shocking. There should be at the very least an option to install smart devices without having to be restricted to one company.

The customer service we had was outstanding. We where so excited asking many questions. They where still professional and kind.

While the price was reasonable and the communication with sales person was good, the overall quality and craftsmanship of the home was very poor. We are still dealing with plumbing issues and things that should have been taken care of prior to closing. Lastly, wiring in attic is all over and not neatly attached to rafters or in a conduit.

Bloomfield was wonderful! Yeah, it took four months longer than initially advised upon signing but that's no fault of theirs. Bill and Scott were so great and responsive with my wife and I during the process. Our home is gorgeous and we are thrilled to be here.

The experience has been great so far! The team here at Buffalo Ridge has been very helpful and professional as well. I'm truly happy with the house.

Zero builder quality checks on trades as house is built. Cheap plastic windows and siding. They let the city inspectors do the review for code and fix only what the inspectors require, versus what should be fixed per construction norm. They will not fix defects in phase but prefer to try to close and have it fixed by warranty if they agree. Sprinkler system PVC depth about 1-2 inches so it will freeze and break. Flower beds consist of unsecure stones just laid on top of the ground, and then clay placed inside the bed on top of original grass that was never removed. Beds are full of wood, rock and bricks. Sod is laid on unprepared soil on top of rocks, bricks, metal trim, or whatever trash collected during the build process with holes and lumps throughout on completion. Then they plop in the cheapest plants and trees available at the time that are not suited to our climate. You pay upfront for low quality work that will just cost you even more to later rip out and replace correctly. Then the same trades come by later to see if you want to pay to redo the work right. ... Mandy and Scott were great people to work with in the entire build process. With the current supply chain shortages and unexpected delays, they still managed to give us accurate times and help us get the new home. We are enjoying it so far and I only have good things to say about BH!

The salesman and head builder for the Kings Fort location are not good.

I loved the ease of building my home! The weekly update emails were great, the final walk through went so well and everything was explained perfectly!

Overall they are pretty good. During the build,, they did take care of my concerns, The time frame took longer than specified. So be patient because you may see it may just be sitting there and they will say it is material, but when you look the material is there. Also, just make sure that you see what you asked for in the contract. I know I asked for certain things and they were not put in the contract. Got it, I did not pay for them because they weren't on there but I would have had no problem paying. Like I said, even after asking double and triple check your paperwork. I know you should of read it and I did and must of missed it. However, I and the builder knew that I had ask for what I wanted. Even after admitting that I did ask for it, it didn't matter because they weren't changing it. ... More

1) Bloomfield messed up on the brick for our front patio and columns. The columns were crooked and brick was cracking and falling off. The slope of brick which is supposed to clear the window of our office in the front was blocking the window. I had to get into an argument with them so they would fix it because they weren't going to. They tried to say it was right then I submitted them pictures of the same house they built from different streets and then they had no choice but to fix. 2) During the final walk through we had to place hundreds of tape markers on the walls, doors and floorboards. The paint and texture was atrocious. 3) A day after moving in our plumbing stopped working on a Sunday. They ended up having to dig our front yard up to replace a section of pipe. 4) We had a gas smell coming from our range. The provider came out and cut our gas off and red tagged. The gas line was not up to code and had to be fixed. Later it was found the range was also leaking at the burners so then the whole range had to be replaced. Extremely dangerous! 5) The water line for the dishwasher was not hooked up so when we ran it, the dishwasher started melting and had to be replaced. 6) They threw our sod over trash, debris, rocks and bricks which we had to have redone as well. 7) Our driveway and sidewalk concrete looks horrible. Lines are crooked and the concrete is not smooth. We were told all the houses in the neighborhood were like that. They must think we can't use our eyes to actually look at the other house's concrete which looked professional compared to ours. This is not resolved. 8) Our garage and patio concrete already have significant cracks. We were told this is normal in settling which is true but not immediately like we have. Meanwhile, the Highland homes around us have no foundation cracks and have been in place for a year. Every time we brought issues up we weren't apologized to. We were just told excuses about everything. We were told that we shouldn't be complaining because the same house is now $100k more than we bought it for 6 months prior even though our house appraised only $2k over what we bought it for during closing. If they told me the house was built by a crew of 5 year olds I would believe them. Go with highland if you want a quality home. ... More

Excellent home value, and quality worksmanship!

It was so simple to pick our lot, the model and the finishes desired. Overall very happy with the build. A few issues have been resolved in the first 45 days with just a couple to complete. I'm not totally satisfied with the backsplash as it now looks incomplete by not extending to soffit between cabinets. We would definitely buy again with Bloomfield.

I was new in all of this process because It was the first time and David ( community manager) helped me a lot step by step. I was never feeling alone during the whole process and also the mortgage team was very nice too. I had in order all my documents and evidences; my process was fast since the beginning to the end . I’m very happy with my house, thank you .

My wife and I could always ask questions and get answers throughout the building process. We were kept updated throughout the process even during delays caused by covid. And the builder was quick to respond and take care of a couple issues that came after closing.

Always kept us up to date with the progress of our home weekly. Answered questions in a timely manner. Did everything they could do to get our home finished on time ! Thank you!

We never heard anyone from Bloomfield say, "we don't do that!" They took every request under careful consideration and made a determination. Only once did they say they couldn't do what we wanted and they explained logiccally why they couldn't. They were extremly service oriented! We had been pretty badly burned and lied to on a previous build 3 years before. We told them this in the beginning and that we were paranoid about it. They were very sensitive to this and tolerated our questions with grace, I can't say enough great and wonderful things about everyone from Bloomfield! The home they delivered to us is a quality product with great attention to detail. The sales team will be coming over for a grill party after the pool is finished!
