I loved the homes and the value but the service from the sale agent was below the normal. Maybe due to current market conditions but got the impression that he could careless if we purchased.

Wish I could write a great review but unfortunately the process was the worst I have had when buying a new home. Already having issues with pipes leaking delays from having simple tasks done. One would assume that when you purchase a new home you have no concerns when it comes to things breaking. wish this was the case. We love the home and the value but just trying to have minor or major repairs done is a extremely difficult task. Processes were slow and getting answers was difficult at times

The 3rd party contractors were sloppy. There didn’t seem to be much care of respect for the property they worked on. Sod was not laid the best. Paint was literally everywhere from door to door. Gouges in the floors. Stains in my sink and tubs. Kitchen counter tops were stained. For such high cost high quality homes, the 3rd party contractors should be better. The lack of wi-fi capable products in 2022 is also a bit shocking. There should be at the very least an option to install smart devices without having to be restricted to one company.

Poor craftsmanship and didn’t not oversea workers of home from start to finish

While the price was reasonable and the communication with sales person was good, the overall quality and craftsmanship of the home was very poor. We are still dealing with plumbing issues and things that should have been taken care of prior to closing. Lastly, wiring in attic is all over and not neatly attached to rafters or in a conduit.

Buying a home during a pandemic

Bloomfield was wonderful! Yeah, it took four months longer than initially advised upon signing but that's no fault of theirs. Bill and Scott were so great and responsive with my wife and I during the process. Our home is gorgeous and we are thrilled to be here.

No attention to detail or quality of workmanship

Zero builder quality checks on trades as house is built. Cheap plastic windows and siding. They let the city inspectors do the review for code and fix only what the inspectors require, versus what should be fixed per construction norm. They will not fix defects in phase but prefer to try to close and have it fixed by warranty if they agree. Sprinkler system PVC depth about 1-2 inches so it will freeze and break. Flower beds consist of unsecure stones just laid on top of the ground, and then clay placed inside the bed on top of original grass that was never removed. Beds are full of ...

Overall they are pretty good. During the build,, they did take care of my concerns, The time frame took longer than specified. So be patient because you may see it may just be sitting there and they will say it is material, but when you look the material is there. Also, just make sure that you see what you asked for in the contract. I know I asked for certain things and they were not put in the contract. 1) Bloomfield messed up on the brick for our front patio and columns. The columns were crooked and brick was cracking and falling off. The slope of brick which is supposed to clear the window of our office in the front was blocking the window. I had to get into an argument with them so they would fix it because they weren't going to. It was so simple to pick our lot, the model and the finishes desired. Overall very happy with the build. A few issues have been resolved in the first 45 days with just a couple to complete. I'm not totally satisfied with the backsplash as it now looks incomplete by not extending to soffit between cabinets. We would definitely buy again with Bloomfield.

I was never feeling alone during the whole process and also the mortgage team was very nice too. I had in order all my documents and evidences; my process was fast since the beginning to the end . We never heard anyone from Bloomfield say, "we don't do that!" They took every request under careful consideration and made a determination. Only once did they say they couldn't do what we wanted and they explained logiccally why they couldn't. They were extremly service oriented!
