The allure of the home was that in the neighborhood there were various elevations. The homes were built in different styles versus cookie cutter homes. I love the bar, atty of different stone and brick combinations in the elevations floor plans. Unfortunately; I discovered lots of defects some have been properly repaired in a few. I’m still waiting on. When I did my exterior walk on the home, I don’t recall seeing the hairline cracks on both sides of the home. The prices are reasonable, and the community manager was a standout in terms of being great and very responsive. I always felt like I could count on her for assistance. Our buying experience was alright. We originally wanted to purchase a different house, toured it, and were ready to make an offer when one of the assistants said they were holding it for a couple who wanted to come look at it later. My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. The value of the home is amazing. Great choices and many standard options are considered upgrades with other builders. The process had its ups and downs. There were many moments where communication lacked as to delays during the build and what was to be expected. The workmanship disappoints a bit as it seems they rely to much on the warranty. A lot of small issues that add up that should have been caught before closing if they just slowed down and checked the work thoroughly. Best quality, fit and finish compared to other local builders. Our family is one that moves frequently and have experienced many issues with relocation company inspections and home condition requirements. Had relocation company inspect home. Several of the exceptions found by them were not code violations, however none-the-less, they would be expected of me to remedy at my expense upon the sale of the home with my next move. Bloomfield was reluctant to remedy these issues during final walkthrough. Not a del breaker, but it takes away from a top score/review.

What was advertised as move in ready has been anything but! There were damages throughout the home we found on move in day and it has taken numerous attempts to make things right. Our customer service rep has been great but the quality of work is lacking and created unnecessary stress and inconveniences.

Our overall experience with the sales manager, Dona Bolton, was amazing. She was helpful throughout every step of the process. As we moved into our new home we definitely were in love with it. However after being here a few months, we are not as in love as before. Our first discovery is realizing the home is not fully insulated. When we had our TVs mounted we found the walls between the bedroom and living room are not insulated. We have a beautiful home, and the buying process was easy but, we wish we had all items fixed before we closed. It is all most impossible to get anyone out here to do anything now. It has been almost two months and we still have a drainage problem and we never got cable installed? Other than that we like our community.

Just make sure you look at everything closely at your home before putting your earnest money down. We like our home we don’t love it and that’s a big difference. Not our first home that we purchased and we loved our other home. And for the price of these homes could certainly offer much more but it seems there is a lot of cost cutting!

I love my home, it's beautiful but when the A/C doesn't work properly or during a storm rain coming into the windows, Kitchen draws getting stuck and cosmetics issues you have asked to be corrected have not it is disheartening.

Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. I have only 1 issue out of over 20 fixed since I bought the home. I'm asking multiple times for final dates with very little response. Communication is one way mostly.
