Bloomfield Homes - The overall experience was great.

The overall experience was great. Follow up on issues found after the walkthrough and inspection was not the best. Compared to the other builders in the area, this would be my first choice.

Bloomfield Homes - Best quality, fit and finish compared to other local builders.

Best quality, fit and finish compared to other local builders. Our family is one that moves frequently and have experienced many issues with relocation company inspections and home condition requirements. Had relocation company inspect home. Several of the exceptions found by them were not code violations, however none-the-less, they would be expected of me to remedy at my expense upon the sale of the home with my next move. Bloomfield was reluctant to remedy these issues during final walkthrough. Not a del breaker, but it takes away from a top score/review.

What was advertised as move in ready has been anything but! There were damages throughout the home we found on move in day and it has taken numerous attempts to make things right. Our customer service rep has been great but the quality of work is lacking and created unnecessary stress and inconveniences.
Bloomfield Homes responded:
We apologize for the issues you encountered and appreciate your patience; we're committed to addressing these concerns promptly. We encourage you to submit a warranty request available on our website page. Hopefully all issues are fixed promptly.

Our overall experience with the sales manager, Dona Bolton, was amazing. She was helpful throughout every step of the process. As we moved into our new home we definitely were in love with it. However after being here a few months, we are not as in love as before. Our first discovery is realizing the home is not fully insulated. When we had our TVs mounted we found the walls between the bedroom and living room are not insulated. Next, we are in our first wintery weather experience and the house is EXTREMELY cold in some rooms. Turning on the heat does not help as it makes other rooms ...
Bloomfield Homes responded:
We're glad to hear that your experience with Dona Bolton was amazing and that you initially loved your new home. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered with insulation and temperature control. We'll take your feedback seriously and work to address these concerns for a better experience in the future. Welcome to the Bloomfield family, Jamarau! ...

We have waited five years for our Bloomfield home and are greatly disappointed with the lack of customer service from the community manager to the construction /project manager. We have been highly disappointed in the quality or lack of workmanship throughout the house. We paid a lot of money for poor quality and service.

We have a beautiful home, and the buying process was easy but, we wish we had all items fixed before we closed. It is all most impossible to get anyone out here to do anything now. It has been almost two months and we still have a drainage problem and we never got cable installed? Other than that we like our community.
Bloomfield Homes responded:
We appreciate your feedback, William, and apologize for any communication issues after closing. Please fill out the warranty form on our website if you haven't already and our team will do their best to provide a timely and quality warranty service should you have any outstanding items. Just make sure you look at everything closely at your home before putting your earnest money down. We like our home we don’t love it and that’s a big difference. Not our first home that we purchased and we loved our other home. And for the price of these homes could certainly offer much more but it seems there is a lot of cost cutting!

Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. Also, I moved in before they finished doing everything, I wish I didn’t close unless all ...

Workmanship was just poor . We did a initial walk through with the house not complete . The building foreman knew that the was not ready, but continued on with the walk through anyway. Yes he did say if we were not happy we can postpone the walk through the out the whole walk through. He knew there was a lot that needed to be done and fixed but was only going to fix the things we asked and saw, so if there were things that we didn’t catch and he knew of or saw he wasn’t gonna mark them down . We had a window that was missing for a couple of months and when we brought it up to their ...

My wife and I purchased a Bloomfield home in Melissa, TX. The experience from the sales office to the design appointment was wonderful. Once we broke ground and began construction is when we started seeing things. Specifically, during construction, there was one area that was not framed correctly according to the blueprints. We mentioned this as soon as we noticed it in October of 2020 to our project manager Sam. He said this will get corrected at a later time. Weeks go by, and no resolution. Finally, they do a little work around, but it still looks terrible. We closed on the house in March ...

Inferior cabinets poor design with age may have major problems. Inferior dishwasher. House built on sloop which makes it difficult to use side yard access. There are two gates one on each side of house, but the air conditioning unit one one side of house prevents access to yard. Some electrical outlets placed wrong in bedrooms. Master bed room tub too small for a tall person. don't understand why they install base boards and door casings before floors. Then they put a lot of caulk under base boards. That look dosent look professional and unfinished. Why not put the floors down first ...

Have had several issues since moved into home. Bath tube crack has not been resolved in master suite, Sheetrock under sink in bathroom has not been resolve, cabinets drawers in the island do not close properly, beeping of smoke detector for several days has not been resolve even after we changed the batteries several times. Slow responses of issue we have had in the past some have taken weeks to resolve and others no resolution. The issues we have had in the home that were resolve have taken time to correct.

Bloomfield Homes - There were a few hiccups throughout the home buying and build
- Anonymous

There were a few hiccups throughout the home buying and build of our home. They were taken care of eventually, but after moving in we discovered the rushed low quality workmanship that went into repairs and all around build of our home. Window height is not consistent and not sealed fully. Overspray of paint and stain in front and back porch. It is evident that a “good enough, hurry and get it done” mentality was used in building our home.
