Kathy was friendly sometimes. Other times it was as though she was doing me a favor. She was very unfriendly once he knew that I could not close on the date she wanted me to. Moreover after the house was sold to me and I found out some problems she shoved me off to the warranty company. So many things were not explained to me like the sprinkler system, alarms and pest control services.... these are all extras that were unknown to me. Your sales reps should take the time to educate the novices and first time home buyers well. Outside of these complaints my home is beautiful inside and ...

AFTER SPEAKING WITH SEVERAL OF MY NEIGHBORS, WE ARE ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR NEW HOMES. CONCRETE IS CRACKED OUT IN DRIVES AND GARAGES. TRIM IS LOSE ON SOME OF THE HOMES, TREES ARE DYING, SPRINKLER SYSTEMS ARE A MESS, YARDS WEREN'T LEVELED BEFORE SOD WAS APPLIED, MASTER BATH SINK HAD AN 8" CRACK IN IT, TUB WAS CHIPPED, BATHROOM COUNTERTOPS WERE ALL SCRATCHED UP, A/C HANDLER HAD A LOOSE BRACKET & DIRTY FILTER. INTERIOR PAINT WAS MISSED IN MANY AREAS, FRONT DOOR THRESHOLD WAS CRACKED ON BOTH SIDES, ETC. RUSHED CARELESS CONSTRUCTION AND LANDSCAPING. WISH WE HAD TALKED TO THE NEIGHBORS BEFORE ...

Wish I could give 5 stars because I love my house. Unfortunately this process has been horrible. My home was consistently left wide open even getting close to completion. My family and it we almost attacked by German Shepherds that we habitating in my upstairs living space. Our home is still not complete as per the contract. We closed on our home believing all punch items were done. That was not the case. There was broken cabinets, cracked tile, thresholds missing brick and a few other things incomplete. We've been in almost two months and still dealing with issues. Our yard will be ...

Very bad experience in between the transition of old hardware to new hardware

I was not intimated about the transition of hardware, the time i signed the house and then there was transition and i got a house with some new and some old hardwares with different colour combinations. I asked them to replace to any of the one alike combinations but i got a very good response saying that we can’t do anything its “corporate decision” Apart from this mismatch, pretty satisfied with the overall construction and the quality.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Hi, Dheeraj. I understand the confusion about the transition of old and new hardware. We are so glad to hear that otherwise, you are pleased with your new home. We are glad to have you as part of the Bloomfield Homes family and we wish you many years of happiness in your new home. ...

I have a water leak and I’m unable to find it. I received a two emails from the city of Cleburne saying that I have lost 2 gallons of water per hour for the last 18 days and I’m unable to find the leak. I’ve called and sent emails, but no one has returned my call. I noticed that I have a pillar that needed to add more concrete to the slab in the front of my home. Someone came to my house about three weeks ago told me that they would be back to fix certain items in the bathroom still have not heard back from them either.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Hi, Buffy - I completely understand the frustration you feel about this leak. I spoke with the community manager and she has assured me that our service department is working on this situation. Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to investigate the leak. bloomfieldhomes

Nice Home, nice design, not best quality

Bloomfield has nice design options and homes at reasonable pricing, but they charge for almost everything to upgrade. We’re happy with our home but found a lot of issues with the details and workmanship. They are responsive and try to solve the problems however. I would say they are an average builder from my experience. Probably wouldn’t not use them again if I had the choice.

This is our first home and we loved that we got the opportunity to build. Overall correspondence was ok, thankful for Donna’s help. We couldn’t give a 5 star due to some of the issues with our brand new home. The paint is already chipping on our window sills, could be the quality of paint. The quality of our kitchen cabinets are very cheap. This could be because of supplies during Covid. Our house paint job is poor, as we find a lot of cosmetic issues. All the doors are not sanded down with sharp edges which can be a problem for little ones. I had requested for them to be sanded down on the ...

Scott was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Assisted in choosing the best home model and lot. Had a multitude of delays and hiccups along the way that Scott was task with keeping me abreast of, even though almost nine were of his doing. I feel the quality and workmanship of the home suffered because of a lack of supervision throughout the home building process. The trades are in such demand that I think builders are willing to sacrifice quality just to get someone on site. Many of the delays we suffered, in my opinion, we’re absolutely avoidable if our build would have been ...

We contracted for our home in Nov of 20 with a projected completion date of Oct 21 but did not get to close on it until April of 22 in the Oak Hill Ranch development in Cross Roads. Bloomfield honored everything in the contract which was greatly appreciated. We were told about some of the delays that were associated with supply shortages and or damaged materials all during a global pandemic to boot. However, our sales manager left in late 2021 so transitioning to his replacement added to our overall frustration with lack of communication by Bloomfield team members. Frequently we asked for ...

Bloomfield Homes - The building process was nothing like it should have been.

The building process was nothing like it should have been. We were never updated on issues going on. The day we moved in the HVAC system was not working due to unfinished work. Dishwasher did not work and unfinished trim and paint work. Had to have someone come out because the attic was not fully insulated. This is due to poor project management and people not checking the work of others and making sure everything is completed and in proper working order.

Bloomfield has my respect as far as price guarantee, the issue is more promoted time of completion vs actual time of completion. You can tell things were left undone and unchecked in order to rush the closing date. Completion was 6 months after projected date causing extensions to leases and have a high rate mortgages as well. Most materials used are good quality though

The home buying process was more or less OK. But the issue of (1) multiple cracks on the concrete floor of the garage, front and back porch and driveway, (2) nonfunctioning garage door opener on the move-in day, (3) a dead tree in the backyard, (4) blocked master bath tub faucet on the move in day and (5) malfunctioning one AC unit within two weeks (not yet resolved after almost one month now) do not say something good about it.

Framing material was just fair. Many pieces were not in the best of shape yet workers still used them even after we brought it to their attention. Concrete laid was very wavy, holes in various spots, one corner completely fell apart. Brought it to their attention as we didn't want to have this be an issue when the flooring got laid and apparently they didn't fix it because we had to have 2 section of flooring relayed and some of our furniture still does not lay flat to the floor. Painting, texture fair. Paint is a very poor grade of paint and for the price paid for this home, should have ...
