Atleast you have to use tankless water heater. Doors and paints are less quality materials.

Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. I have only 1 issue out of over 20 fixed since I bought the home. I'm asking multiple times for final dates with very little response. Communication is one way mostly.

Price was high by the time the house was built. They added a higher shower for my tall son. Did not repair concrete that they pointed out in our walk through.

The overall experience was good. Bill eas great to work with. On the other hand, Matt was unprofessional and could not be trusted to respond as requested or not at all. He failed to communicate or address issues that were presented.

Workmanship was just poor . We did a initial walk through with the house not complete . The building foreman knew that the was not ready, but continued on with the walk through anyway. Yes he did say if we were not happy we can postpone the walk through the out the whole walk through. My wife and I purchased a Bloomfield home in Melissa, TX. The experience from the sales office to the design appointment was wonderful. Once we broke ground and began construction is when we started seeing things. Specifically, during construction, there was one area that was not framed correctly according to the blueprints. We mentioned this as soon as we noticed it in October of 2020 to our project manager Sam. He said this will get corrected at a later time. Weeks go by, and no resolution. Inferior cabinets poor design with age may have major problems. Inferior dishwasher. House built on sloop which makes it difficult to use side yard access. There are two gates one on each side of house, but the air conditioning unit one one side of house prevents access to yard. Some electrical outlets placed wrong in bedrooms. Master bed room tub too small for a tall person. don't understand why they install base boards and door casings before floors. Then they put a lot of caulk under base boards. That look dosent look professional and unfinished. Why not put the floors down first ...

Have had several issues since moved into home. Bath tube crack has not been resolved in master suite, Sheetrock under sink in bathroom has not been resolve, cabinets drawers in the island do not close properly, beeping of smoke detector for several days has not been resolve even after we changed the batteries several times. Slow responses of issue we have had in the past some have taken weeks to resolve and others no resolution. The issues we have had in the home that were resolve have taken time to correct.

There were a few hiccups throughout the home buying and build of our home. They were taken care of eventually, but after moving in we discovered the rushed low quality workmanship that went into repairs and all around build of our home. Window height is not consistent and not sealed fully. Overspray of paint and stain in front and back porch. It is evident that a “good enough, hurry and get it done” mentality was used in building our home.

I would love to have all of my new home buyer issues addressed before my one year timeframe lapses. I love my home but when lights don’t work, doors won’t stay closed and alarm system malfunctions with poor customer service response I cannot leave a positive response. I need for Bloomfield homes to take responsibility for my roof leaking. The roofer doesn’t seem to know if it is fixed or not. The insulation is mildewing in the walls and attic. If my family gets sick, everyone will know about Bloomfield Homes.

Our builder Chris is the only bright spot for me. He is responsive and does what he can when there are issues. The dishwasher has not worked for close to a month now. The garage door broke and the company “TBS garage” is a farce. Initially left a message on their 24 hr emergency line and never got a response. I called again after the whole power outtage/water ordeal and person said that their system is down so they can’t schedule me for service and that they will call me back. We were not able to get upgrades we requested. Slab was poured early for plumbing requests. We did not have walk-thru prior to sheetrock installation and some outlets were no in our preferred locations. At times some frustration having appointments delayed or rescheduled. If not for a sound deal and some resolutions made, this rating would be less.

Great build, poor planning with utility services

Overall, Bloomfield builds a great home. The only issues we had were a result of poor communication with the developer and utility services such as AT&T internet. Once we moved in we didn't have internet for a month. In addition, the pre wiring completed by the builder for internet is outdated. AT&T has had fiber direct for quite sometime now and the wires that are hanging (eye sore, hide them in a box) out of the closet are of no use. Finally, we have had to go to the post office to collect our mail as the developer failed to communicate with the post office and have keys ordered for ...
