Our experience began spectacular and as we progressed through our 1st time building a home; with high excitement level there were a few misinterpreted customization liberty's between us the buyer, sales office and builders preference as we got close to the end of the build. After a few emails and face to face meeting we were able to come to a happy median. Well worth the delays and the periodic detailed conversation for understanding, the only improvements would be more detail explanation on what new buyers can do and cant do during the construction period. Make sure that if moving in a new Nieghborhood make sure all the street names are good with the city of not it could delay getting started for about three months

When you decide to purchase, and the time comes for your walk through. Pay close attention to everything. Major or minor. There will be some things that will come up after your move in, but you should not have a problem getting them taken care of if your patient

We are still hoping for the overall good experience with purchasing Bloomfield Homes and are hoping this works out. During our initial purchase we had zero problems with the sales person, Bill, we had a contract with a home but another house in the same community with a model we wanted cancelled, so we went with the other house still with Bloomfield that was 90% completed. When we got closer to closing, the sales person threatened to cancel the home on us because we weren't going with the loan company he recommended. He and the loan company were calling me non-stop to tell me how bad our bank was and we should go with his recommended lender. It took me writing Bloomfield corporate office to get him off our back so we could close the home without that undue stress and threat. The corporate office didn't care who we went with, it was only the sales person. Our first experience since moving in, the dishwasher wasn't connected properly so it leaked, flooded and warped our hardwood floors within the first two weeks. The builder for our community, Jason, has been great and making us feel better with the issues we have had. At no cost to us, he had the dishwasher installed properly, the floors were torn out and re-installed. It was a nuisance because we had the floors torn up for over a week when we are trying to move in, but at least it was done and it looks good. We found 4 windows that significantly leak when it rains, again Jason is working to get them fixed. They aren't fixed yet but Jason has been good with contacting us and getting people in. Our air conditioning wasn't working and Jason got the A/C people to come by, they realized the equipment was installed properly but the breakers on the units had it turned off which is why it wasn’t working. So we went a few weeks with no A/C. Again a nuisance but was fixed before summer, but I feel this could have been figured out with a builder check list. For future buyers, we feel Bloomfield is a good home, good quality and good value. We love the design, the look, the lot and even though we've had some issues, we are happy. Future buyers need to pay attention close when signing paperwork because we realized the sales person in our area is bad and paying attention to detail and poor with paperwork. If you point something out, he gets visibly frustrated. He's super friendly if everything goes his way and you go off his recommendations, which is why we went into our original contract with them but we had to have him re-write our contract 5 times before we signed anything because each time he would forget something that we talked about. Then again, add in him threatening to cancel our contract just because we went with a different lender that was giving us a better rate and pay much less in closing costs. Again it is important to note Bloomfield doesn't care who we went with, it was just the sales rep. My wife and I almost walked but we thought, this is just a sales rep and years later we won’t remember his name what’s more important is Bloomfield has a good reputation with quality homes so we would deal with him to get the house we’ve always wanted. I would highly recommend Bloomfield Homes. We’ve done a lot of research with finding a builder in this area and their homes are gorgeous, great lots, we love their designs and they do have a great reputation for building a good quality home. We have had some initial issues but they have done a great job with addressing them immediately and following up to make sure we feel good about it. In a year or two we will forget all about dealing with their sales rep, what we’ll care about is being in love with the home. If you asked me to rate the sales process, it would be a 1. But overall I would give Bloomfield a 4 or 5 stars because in the end their homes are great. Finding the right home for my family is more important than a couple of hiccups in the process. ... More

The value and quality of a Bloomfield Home is second to none. We bought a beautiful home at a wonderful price. The layout and finish that Bloomfield Homes uses, makes the home feel elegant. Thank you Amy for working with us to get into a wonderful first home.

The best review I could give is that I would buy Bloomfield again.

We purchased a ready move in "Carolina" Bloomfield home at Lakeview Estates in Anna, TX. The home was beautiful with it's gorgeous wood flooring. The three car garage was a bonus as we needed a little extra room to house our Harley Davidson. We've been in the home now a little over three months with minor issues which were quickly addressed. The neighborhood is developing nicely and we're extremely glad with our decision to buy a Bloomfield home here at Lakeview Estates!

Jaque our sales man was amazing and went above and beyond. I would recommend him to anybody. Answered all questions and very attentive to everything. Once the house was being built had to watch alittle closer certain things got looked over. But once sent to Anthony our builder he fixed them. But overall a good experience.

The sales person was nice and they help us a lot in the process and the house are very nice. so far we are happy to have a business from Bloomfield.

Anything you get added, stay on top of asking about when it will be completed. We had a bathroom cabinet that we paid extra for and had to ask several times about, but eventually got it. The dishwasher isn't that great, it's so loud. Plan to have house inspected before first year end, but everything seems to be in functioning order and love the curb appeal of the homes Bloomfield designs. Overall, satisfied.

Construction wise they thought of everything. House is very well built.

Sell rep. was very helpful. Walk through man was excellent. Unsatisfied Bloomfield quality: upstairs showers and toilets made loud noise water drainage to downstairs. Had several potholes in a jacuzzi tub. Three outside doors didn’t properly seal. The garage and patio concretes were worst surface finishes and cracked. I heard people next bedroom talking or adult noise from mine. Warranty man was terrible answering his client questions. All house issues are normal to him. Thank you all for your support.

Overall, the experience was a solid 7.5 out of 10. There were some items that required either fixing, adjusting or replacing. The house has been a carousel for workers since closing, but the builder has been in constant communication each step of the way. Definitely recommend a new build inspection, as it certainly helped us identify some items that needed correcting. Overall we're happy with our decision.

My wife and I have lived in Melissa since 2019 and we have always been attracted to the Liberty Community. After looking at some of the lots and some of the homes offered by Bloomfield, we decided to go with them to build our custom dream home. The process of designing the home and seeing its progress week-to-week was a fun and exciting experience. There were some minor hiccups during the build that were quickly fixed (a door going into the 3rd car garage, a vent needing to be rerouted, some changes in light placement) and some things that needed to be fixed after close (overspray on the floors, leaky roof, and lights that were not centered over the sinks in the bathrooms). My only serious complaint is where some of the fixtures meet the ceiling or where the railing meets the wall, it's a little sloppy. Now the project manager has been great and has been very responsive in attempting to fix these issues, but it's still not a crisp finish as you would expect when you pay this particular price for a custom home. ... This is the second house we have built with Bloomfield, our first one was a Hawthorn 1 that we outgrew. We went with Bloomfield again due to knowing what we were getting in terms of quality and such. We built a Primrose-FE-VI this time on a half acre lot so hopefully we won't be moving again, but if we did I would use Bloomfield again. One thing I would like to see Bloomfield incorporate would be more option lists like appliances choices and such. Instead of just having a std gas and std electric package, it would be nice to have a price list for each available appliance. I feel the appliance vender is over pricing upgrades because no one knows the valve of the included appliances so no credit get applied. The reason for my impression is it was cheaper for me to have the basic appliances installed and then buy the upgrade and "throw away" the other and still be half the price of the upgrade. Another thing would be for Bloomfield to offer generator ready options and turn key generators on their builds that have natural gas available. The installation of this during the build would be far cheaper than installed later. ... More

Robin and her support staff were fantastic. Held our hands throughout the buying process and navigated us around a few obstacles. The experience was stress free and I believe that’s because of the caring and professional approach of the Bloomfield Team.

We paid a good deal for our home and have had almost all of the trades back in, and some twice to fix shotty workmanship. I wish more care had been taken to build a better product.

Overall happy with Bloomfield homes and the quality/Value of the work. The closing experience was as smooth it can be. As expected there will be few issues with the new home and missed/wrong workmanship and I have a bunch of them. But the support has been good if not super responsive. Being an inventory home but still under construction with the time available to make changes, I’d have liked to have some minor changes accepted but no flexibility was offered, which to me is a big sticking point. Overall, the process is smooth and Bloomfield is pretty accommodating. You get a good quality home at or slightly above market value. Bloomfield needs improvement with the quality of some of their finished work. They have a “good enough” mindset and are ok with finished work not being quite right. Some of their subs do a great job and others are pretty bad. It’s the luck of the draw on who shows up to work on your house that day. A lot of the workers drink on the job which affects the quality of their work. There needs to be more oversight to help alleviate these issues. The office staff is friendly and they do the best they can to help. They are always available to answer questions and genuinely seem like they care. However, the left hand doesn’t always know what the right hand is doing and they are not on the same page. The design center needs to be revamped. The small room with tiny samples does not really give you a good idea on how things will come together. ... More

The allure of the home was that in the neighborhood there were various elevations. The homes were built in different styles versus cookie cutter homes. I love the bar, atty of different stone and brick combinations in the elevations floor plans. Unfortunately; I discovered lots of defects some have been properly repaired in a few. I’m still waiting on. When I did my exterior walk on the home, I don’t recall seeing the hairline cracks on both sides of the home. When I moved in, I noticed the cracks had been filled in with some type of silicone. I will give home some more time to settle and would like exterior cracks to be replaced with brick. A used faucet was put on the kitchen sink and outdoors a couple of weeks after they moved in a Spicket knob broke off, and I had to shut off my water. The plumber came out. Mason has been great with communicating and getting contractors out to repair some of the things, but I don’t know who knew about the cracks but someone did because they were repaired with silicone. Loving most everything about our home. The lack of timeliness of getting things repaired or looked at has been somewhat disappointing and unexpected.

What was advertised as move in ready has been anything but! There were damages throughout the home we found on move in day and it has taken numerous attempts to make things right. Our customer service rep has been great but the quality of work is lacking and created unnecessary stress and inconveniences.

Great home first and foremost. Beautiful. No complaints about the design or the cost. The complaint comes against the community manager. Man I cannot say this with enough force; ZERO communication about the closing process. Total guesswork the entire time as far as closing dates. Was told at the very beginning that projected closing date was December 11. That day came and went. Ended up closing February 26. Was never told that after you “walk” the property you are expected to close within 5 days of that occurrence. Left out to dry as far as the previous residence and what to do with that as far as timeline goes because there was never a timeline. Long story short I don’t buy houses all the time so I don’t know the procedures. Without my loan officer it would have been a miserable process. GREAT house!
