Overall it was a good experience, we love the home and the neighborhood. So far we haven't had quality issues, our only criticism would be that at the move in pieces of garbage were left in the back yard, bottles, old banana peels, there were cans of beer left in the dishwasher and upstairs bathroom. And the lawn grass was getting a bit high.

The buying process was almost flawless. Unfortunately, two of the tubs placed in my home has stains in them as well as there are some areas that looks to be rushed jobs. There was something wasted on my carpet and a couple of panels/baseboards broken and installed.

Very good design and location.

My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. However, regardless of costs/market, there’s still some things on our new house that make you go “hmm….is this just cheap or did someone make a mistake?” Overall we are pleased. We like that Bloomfield put a drip system around the foundation as part of their new home packages, which will keep the foundation rock solid for years. That’s a big peace of mind. ... More

We purchased our Bloomfield home at a time when prices were rising and the builder did not provide any incentives. However they used quality building materials and we were always in contact with our sales agent Dona and builder Eric. They always responded to any inquiries we had and our home came up great. We had most of the things we wanted but passed on some upgrades which we were able to do later. The experience was great but the bathrooms were not painted with semi gloss paint which we ended up doing ourselves. That needs standard on all their homes.

It is a very tough buyers market. Finding a home was very difficult. Leslie and her team were able to make buying a home a reality. Thanks.

We are still waiting on the sliding glass door and screen door to be replaced / repaired. The sod has never been rolled and this was requested verbally.

These homes are quality

Overall the building processed lacked communication. Very slow to respond to serious questions. However, home did come out very nice. Now that we have a few warranty issues the lack of communication and follow up seems disorganized and or non-existent.

There are things I didn’t notice on walk thru I do now but warranty covers should be fine .

The workman ship of the house was not great and it has not been great trying to get them to come fix it.

Despite purchasing / building our home during the COVID-19 pandemic, the process was smooth. Sam, the project manager was very courteous as well. The only drawback to the entire process, was the attention to detail in the finishing process. I felt that was lacking in more ways than one.

You should Get better contractors.I feel the painters and flooring contractors were losey could have done a better job, , also issues with plumbing, had issues with cabinets uneven. The inspector should have picked up on alot of issues of peoples homes. Your style of homes are too nice not to be done properly.

We knew going into this homebuying process that we were in a pandemic. We asked from the very beginning about any foreseeable delays. I understand that the builder cannot control supplies and things like that but this process was very difficult on me and my husband. We knew we had to sell our current home before we close because we did not have a contingency sale. So that went without a hitch. We moved six times before we were able to finally move into our home. The home is beautiful we’ve had a lot of minor workmanship issues. Bloomfield staff has been very responsive and taking care of those small items. So I don’t want to be unfair to Bloomfield for our heartbreak in the home buying process. I think that the sales person in the office needs to be more personable and compassionate when difficult situations arise. Stating to people “ That’s construction” is insensitive and unprofessional. Overall, we are very pleased with our home and so far the neighborhood has been nice and quite. Chris was always responsive, helpful, and professional. He was the best part of the process. Site management continually says That’s shaykh you signed on the contract and do not understand technical issues surrounding the issue between us what electrical. Contractor and charters service on two story homes. Staff provided contact list for services contacts that was out of date and had to be corrected. Poor attention to detail

The biggest problem was that the supervisor was not here and that we had to point out problems that the working contractors were causing. We had a water leak after the stud walls were in place that never got address until we had to call it in to get fixed. We had 3 times they had to cut holes in the sheet rock to work on electric plugs that didn’t work. Each time fixing them and then having to go back and cut them out again. We still have a electric plug out side the back porch that doesn’t work. We had to have the framing contractor come back and place ceiling hangers where trusses were installed that were never put in place. I think a lot of these problems would not have occurred if there was a supervisor on hand to correct these mistakes. ... More

Although my home is beautiful I had several issues that I was concerned about that were incomplete several things had to be changed several things had to be corrected and there is still a lot of problems with the building of my home but I plan to file a request to have each and every item fixed and hopefully they will all be fixed thank you

the only issue we had was that 4 houses were being built faster then ours after we signed before them. we brought it to their attention and brought in a second builder to put them back on track.

Since materials and the housing market went through the roof, customer service, holding up to agreements and finishing build errors have gone straight downhill. It’s sad to realize 3 months in and just a few things left to correct and complete, I and my new home no longer seem matter to Bloomfield. I understand the market has shaken builders and buyers, but customer service should never be sacrificed in any industry or market.

Overall, pretty solid experience. However, we were delayed a lot, understandably due to the pandemic. But with the extra time, we expected better workmanship. A few issues that we are just not pleased with such as several cracks in the driveway already, drywall and texture eye sores, few areas that needed cocking, cracked tile pieces in the shower, “lumpy” landscaping, a giant hole in my front yard that still hasn’t been filled, and several “hollow” spots on the floors... we’ve addressed a few issues but at this point it just feels like we are bugging Michael and we feel we shouldn’t have to be begging for work to be completed. Robin was great, she responded to issues fairly quick. Only issue we really have is with the craftsmanship of somethings.

Have to stay on top of things, caught a few errors

The value of the home is amazing. Great choices and many standard options are considered upgrades with other builders. The process had its ups and downs. There were many moments where communication lacked as to delays during the build and what was to be expected. The workmanship disappoints a bit as it seems they rely to much on the warranty. A lot of small issues that add up that should have been caught before closing if they just slowed down and checked the work thoroughly. Even after the pre closing walk through where we pointed out issues, many of them were not corrected. Overall, happy with the home and the quality. Just slightly disappointed in how little pride seemed to be taken with the workmanship of the job. But would definitely recommend, due to value and how beautiful the homes are. ... More

The overall experience was great. Follow up on issues found after the walkthrough and inspection was not the best. Compared to the other builders in the area, this would be my first choice.
