Unfortunately, my home buying experience with Bloomfield Homes has been horrible so far. On my closing day (Oct 17) approx 75% of final repairs were not completed as promised. To make matters worse, Jared, the project manager was so disrespectful and threw a tantrum when asked about said repairs. He does not take accountability in making sure that Bloomfield Homes are completed to their once reputable standards. Two weeks after moving into my home I experienced a leak in my ceiling that was supposedly repaired prior to closing. I also experienced a gas leak in my two days before ...

It wasn't easy to communicate with the builder. My questions were answered with (per code, within the limit, per design). The builder had fake passed test reports and was trying to convince me that everything was perfect, while my 3rd party inspection found lots of minor and major issues.

The paint drops on the wood floor, paint/texture on granite counters and poor workmanship with the caulking in the bathroom was quite surprising! It truly looks like a 5 year old caulked the bathroom. This was pointed out to the project manager during our new homeowner orientation, but nothing has been done since. I am not sure I would recommend a Bloomfield home, given our experience. We believe if we lived locally when home was being built, many of these issues would have been resolved prior to close of escrow. We believe the fact that we were out of state, we were taken advantage of to ...

The home is beautiful, however upon moving in a lot of imperfections were noticed. It was very easy spot areas where the work was rushed, including the horrible paint job that can be seen in the evenings. A few repairs were made after getting my realtor involved, but the major concerns had been ignored and the responsiveness of the responsible parties is awful. If I had the opportunity to give this house back and go with another builder I definitely would. I feel like I could’ve gotten a better home for the money that I spent and I really regret not going with one of the other homes I viewed. ...

Bloomfield Home plans are beautiful. And the models are beautiful, but what you receive will have you dissappointed. They don't correct all of the items you call out from your walk through. A vendor informed me they couldn't do a better repair job b/c of the type of material the builder chose to use. Im constantly reminded of the poor quality of work. Holes behind outlet panels, crappy texture work, etc. Highly disappointed in the quality of work on our home for the price. You'll learn how to use the warranty portal quickly, but don't expect a quick response.

The initial sales process and staff was wonderful. However, the end of the construction and closing was atrocious. Items called out during the walk through were not addressed in a timely manner. I submitted a report from my home inspector and those things were not addressed as well. Most were finally addressed after I moved in but my closing was delayed because of these issues and I just wanted reassurance that the things would be taken care of. In my opinion, Bloomfield at corporate or my neighborhood construction management had no motivation to get these done and me the home owner closed ...

Everything started off being great, and as we started to get closer to closing everything went down hill. We was promised and told things that was not really true about how we would pay for things. We was told that our first payment would take place 3 months after we closed, which we started the month right after closing. There was issues with the alarm system stating that they would allow us to use the system for a year, and then we would pick up with it if we like the system. Then when speaking with the people with Ranger, we was informed that it was false information that was giving to us. ...

Took 10 months for our house to be completed. Understand it was a challenge to build a house during a pandemic but we were initially told April and home was "completed" in July. We closed in July as we were asked to do. It is now September and we still have several punch list items outstanding. Also some problems we found after we closed and moved in. It has been a challenge getting items repaired. We were recently informed by Bloomfield that we need to deal directly with the sub contractors instead of notifying Bloomfield. So many problems have been found in my home, just know Bloomfield won’t fix any of them. They will give you the run around, blame you and then just ignore your warranty. If you are moving into a new build you get the pleasure of listening to blaring music from the workers, the streets are literally trashed with garbage all over, and the nails in my tires have made me very popular at the tire store. We’ve spent so much money out of pocket fixing what Bloomfield should have rectified during our walk thru or noticed by the builder. Lots of my issues are cosmetic and what I can see, it’s what I ...

When I saw the model of this home I loved it! But when I asked the salesman about the process and what I needed to do, he sarcastically said "qualify for the loan" and he went back to what he was doing, That should have been my first clue to leave and not return. But I started the process. I went back to the sales office and was received in the same sarcastic manner until I pointed out to him that I qualified for the loan. Then his attitude changed considerably. He then became the perfect salesman... for a while anyway. He walked me through the model and I shared with him the ...

We had a poor experience with this builder. We had many concerns with the way the work crews were treating our property including drinking alcohol on the work premise. Our concerns were never truly addressed and we were given answers stating that our GC barely had enough time to view our house 1 time a week if that due to the number of houses he had to oversee. We were also told that our site was not as bad as the other houses down the road. This is my second Bloomfield home, 4th build experience, I have also helped sell several Bloomfield homes, and this was the WORST sales experience. From the get go, Andy was slow to respond and almost cost us several thousand dollars due to a delay in signing of the contract AFTER we paid our honest money… after back and fourth he relented and gave us a discount. I was so excited to get my Bloomfield home. This was my first home and the home was so beautiful. I heard so many things about Bloomfield and how they’re such quality builders. However, I would expect the quality of their employees to match the quality of their homes, but that was not the case. The home buying process was very smooth until after closing when the keys to my house did not work for the front door, and the sellers agent Ty had no sense of urgency to correct the matter, nor did he seem to care. From the beginning, we were lied to. The interest rate for preferred homes and inventory was 4.99% with the preferred lender… we bought a home from the inventory and were not offered that. Communication was terrible, after the payment we didn't hear anything from the seller and were sent to do negotiations with the lender. The whole process was stressful.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, understandably there were some shortages. But 15 months we waited patiently for our home to be complete. There were months when it was dormant with no activity, no communication. At 12 months we began reaching out to the builder and no response by phone, email or text; When we finally arrived unexpectedly at the show house, we were told IT's Bloomfield policy to not communicate with pending owners, that's the job of the site manager.
