Still waiting for issues discovered during the walk through to be resolved. Moved in over 2 months ago. Concrete driveway has/had multiple cracks and chunks of concrete missing before we moved in. Paint was all over the very expensive hardwood floor and it took two months of haggling to get them repaired. Looked like my husband painted the house rather than professional painters. Shower tile grout did not get sealed, glass in master shower had to be replaced due to large scratches. Master shower door does not shut properly so after every shower there is water on the floor. Air conditioner ...

I purchased a Bloomfield home in the Arrow Brooke community in Aubrey/Little Elm, based on the online pictures and the schools mentioned by the project office. However, the home is quite different from what was shown in the pictures—for instance, there is no fireplace—and the school districts are different from what was advertised, which feels misleading. I'm now struggling with the inconvenience of commuting 5 miles to send my kids to school.

We are first time home buyers, overall experience was very difficult and frustrating with Bloomfield sales person and the builder I worked with. My house elevation was not accurately done as promised(as per blue print), about elevation we discussed during our builder’s meet, they clearly agreed the house will be as per blue print and I paid premium/additional upgrade money just for elevation. It was promised by Sales person that money will be credited for not having elevation as per the plan but at end no credit was given to me. One month before closing, Bloomfield(Sales person and builder) ...

Seems bloomfield is more concerned with performing the bare minimum to sell than turning a quality product. Approximately 2 months in and already submitting a second list of warranty items. This one to include excessive floor noise from the second level while several issues have still not been addressed from the first warranty submitted. At no point during the process did we feel our construction manager was committed to quality and it's coming to show now that we are living in the home. I'm very concerned the upstairs floor issues will not be addressed or take an extremely long time to ...

Do not trust ANYTHING that the community manager at Star Ranch tells you. Get EVERYTHING in writing -- and I mean EVERYTHING, down to the very last, most minute detail. If not, you will be very upset when things don't go how you were told they would, and the community manager denies saying any of it. The homes are beautiful, when finished, but the mess that is made during construction is absurd. I can't even begin to tell you how much garbage, half-eaten food, beer cans and bottles, and whatnot we found throughout our house during the build process. When confronted about it, the ...

I don't know what to say except to quote standards that meets an approved industry standard. You can check yourself the International Code Council Sec 1604.4 Wind Standards for this area is 90 MPH and the same section defines how wind speeds are determined. If you listen to the weather stations they quote wind gust not wind speed. The project manager could have pulled that to someone else and it would have worked, just so happen it pulled that on the wrong person who knew better. If you do not want to fix the fence then just say so, but don't quote me some thing that I know is wrong. The ...

If I could I would have picked another builder, we were told the ants on the outside of the home were going to be taken care of before we moved in that was October of 2018. The builder's workers provided sub-par and damaged material, examples are the soaking tub has repaired holes in the side of the tub, the countertops are scratched and patched in multiple places, a leak in a vent was pointed out multiple times and not fixed. The toilet seats were damaged by the workers' use. Zero storage in the entire house, even the small attic space was consumed by the air conditioners being placed in an L shape around the ladder to the attic preventing access to any portion of the attic. Gaps under and around all external doors, back door was damaged to make it fit. ...

I have unfortunately learned a hard lesson having a home built by Bloomfield. There has been many mistakes made resulting in a poor quality home. From drywall coming down in garage from a roof leak, to upgrades that were mismanaged & completed wrong. We neither had a pre-construction meeting nor new home orientation. Quality is poor. AC didn't work for some time. Some items missing and damaged door left inside home. No response to emails when asked to remove it. We had to carry it outside and leave it at construction site. I wish I didn't move from my previous home.

1) Bloomfield messed up on the brick for our front patio and columns. The columns were crooked and brick was cracking and falling off. The slope of brick which is supposed to clear the window of our office in the front was blocking the window. I had to get into an argument with them so they would fix it because they weren't going to. They tried to say it was right then I submitted them pictures of the same house they built from different streets and then they had no choice but to fix. 2) During the final walk through we had to place hundreds of tape markers on the walls, doors and ...

The builder, Mike, we dealt with was by far the most horrible human being. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. He never wanted to answer our questions/concerns. Sometimes he wouldn't respond at all. We called corporate to no avail. These people act as if they are not in business. During the building process there were an abundance of quality issues, lying, and wrong things being done, things left out of building plan that HAD to be addressed and the experience of dealing with the builder was gruesome! The sales representative was amazing but the quality of work is not what I expected. Even now I am in the house and they came to do touch up paint, the caulking at the bottom of the floor looks as if I been in the house for months. And they still missed areas with the touch up paint and when I tried to explain it to them, they didn’t understand and would make the areas worst. Smh... Build materials used are cheap. I have green dealing with my master bath bring tiled wrong for there months now. They came yesterday to do the repairs and not only did they not know what they were coming to do but they didn't have the supplies to do the job either. They also arrived 8 plus hours late even though it was planned a week in advance. I am really upset about this. The project manager missed a lot of important details during the final inspection of the house. In addition of a very careless handling from management of the warranty process from Bloomfield side and poor customer service. We encounter a back-flood of used water at the second day of living in the house that damaged the walking closet. Incomplete structural area in the garage. Cracked bath shower. I am having a hard time in seeing the quality of Bloomfield homes. While installing landscape lighting in the flower bed, I found trash below the mulch. It was full of brick and stone debris from the construction of the house, as well as water bottles and food wrappers. Whatever dirt was on the trim on the inside and outside of the house was never cleaned, it was just painted over.
