The sales representative was amazing but the quality of work is not what I expected. Even now I am in the house and they came to do touch up paint, the caulking at the bottom of the floor looks as if I been in the house for months. And they still missed areas with the touch up paint and when I tried to explain it to them, they didn’t understand and would make the areas worst. Smh... The quality of the paint on the kitchen cabinets disturbs me, if I slightly even hit one of the cabinets incorrect the paints clips off and it should not be that way at all. I thought that was very odd. I know ...

Build materials used are cheap. I have green dealing with my master bath bring tiled wrong for there months now. They came yesterday to do the repairs and not only did they not know what they were coming to do but they didn't have the supplies to do the job either. They also arrived 8 plus hours late even though it was planned a week in advance. I am really upset about this. Added to it my home took nearly 8 months to complete when I was given a 4.5 month time of completion. I am wondering selling this home and going with another builder. To be perfectly honest I will never recommend a ...

Bloomfield Homes responded:
We are very sad to hear that you didn't have the best experience with Bloomfield. We have contacted the manager in Plantation and he has mentioned speaking with you regarding your concerns. He plans on reaching out to you again regarding your home. We are very sorry that you felt mislead about the completion date. Most new build homes take at least 8 months, and that is just an estimate because weather and other forces can affect the process. We are very sorry you were not completely informed about this and we will strive to do better in the future to make sure all of our buyers are familiar with the construction ...

I will first start with the only shout out and complement which is our sales guy John. And that is the only thing good I can say about Bloomfield Homes and it’s because of the Construction manager Mike, which I can not say anything good about him. He is one of the rudest people I have ever felt with and I work in the home building industry and have dealt with rude people a lot. He is also untrustworthy non helpful and treats people with no respect Things Mike did after we signed the contract 1) I went in and punched the house and tagged everything that needed to be done from drywall, ...

The project manager missed a lot of important details during the final inspection of the house. In addition of a very careless handling from management of the warranty process from Bloomfield side and poor customer service. We encounter a back-flood of used water at the second day of living in the house that damaged the walking closet. Incomplete structural area in the garage. Cracked bath shower. A set of dinning light that did not have a switch to turn on or off. A division between tub and wall covering that the warranty department insists is normal. Cracked tile. Missing paint/texture in ...

Both the sales consultant and builder failed to communicate pertinent information during the construction of the home. Many assumptions were made regarding design, construction, and even internet capability, but at no point was I notified of any changes that would impact me. If there was a foreseeable or discoverable issue it was Bloomfield’s responsibility to convey this information so that I, the consumer, could make an informed decision.

I am having a hard time in seeing the quality of Bloomfield homes. While installing landscape lighting in the flower bed, I found trash below the mulch. It was full of brick and stone debris from the construction of the house, as well as water bottles and food wrappers. Whatever dirt was on the trim on the inside and outside of the house was never cleaned, it was just painted over. The trim around the front door was also gouged from where they brought things into the house and was just painted over. The caulking on the patio looks like a child did it, there is more caulk on both ...

This was a truly awful home buying experience. Months and months of delays, closing date pushed back multiple times at the last minute, tons of issues still remain long even after move in. Bill was great during the process and much was out of his control, but the communication and follow up with the builder lead was and still remains very bad. He answers and communicates when convenient for him. This was a truly terrible building experience I’m just glad we’re finally in. Still waiting on things to be done. BUYER BE AWARE!!!

This was by far the worst build in my home buying experience…. This is number 3… Indy was the worst person to communicate with and pushed everything off on her assistants. Anthony the project manager was horrible as well, he made this build feel like we were getting the worst quality and craftsmanship available, always saying he can’t find contractors to finish jobs.. I’m fixing a lot of theses issues myself.

We’ve had an ongoing roof leak since we moved in that doesn’t seem will ever get resolved. We have issues with the sod and grade of the backyard that also doesn’t seem likely to be resolved anytime soon. The Warrenty person doesn’t return calls , now that they have our money we’re not a priority anymore, on to the next new buyer. After closing new buyers are not priority. That’s been my experience

They refuse to fix things properly and want to do a work around. I have an exterior door that is not square and they’re tried to shim it and add additional weather strip. The new weather stripping is already getting worn because the door does not sit properly and they’ve been put twice to fix it and yet they refuse to acknowledge the actual problem.

The sales lady, Kathy was the most difficult person to work with. The communication was horrible. We have a two story home and the floor upstairs sounds so hollow. We can hear every single sound downstairs that anyone is making upstairs. We paid for upgraded cabinets only for them to use flimsy, cheap guides on the drawers.
