Great Service

They responded well to issues but there were a few hiccups along the way. Items we picked on our initial walk were forgotten until reminded then later done. Some paint was spilled on the driveway so some workmanship issues.

David and the team at Bloomfield Homes always treated me as a valued customer, they kept their word and delivered as promised. Even after we closed on the home we still receive great service and help with the any questions. We love our home and the community

The whole staff was very helpful including the building supervisor. They listened to any concerns and fixed them. They were willing to make some changes to make it your home.

We have had a number of issues with our new home. These have ranged from a massive leak in the utility room that damaged the drywall to unfinished areas under the sink. Our latest issue seems to be another water leak that has led to a water bill for 25,000 gallons of water and what seems to be a loose screw or wire that was in the garbage disposal (our first use of it was greeted by a sharp metallic sound). We enjoy the home and it looks nice, but it just feels like a never ending chain of problems that we have to deal with. My wife felt so very good about the home when we bought it. She was excited and it felt like it would be some place she could make her own and that she would enjoy. As of now, I feel she has become a bit exasperated with the home. There just seems to be always another issue that is going on as we continue to live here (its been about 2-3 weeks that we have lived in our home now). ... More

Overall, home is good value for money. As you get to build your own home, builder is responsive to onsite issues and makes good to correct the issues. After sales warranty support is spot on, with excellent follow up from builder (Gabriel) to ensure all items addressed by contractor. General workmanship on interior needs improvement, especially around sheetrock/painting (many scars left on the walls especially in bathrooms and around electrical outlets). House is touted as prewired for smart home, but with UPGRADED Cat6a points at the Access Points, the AP cannot support above a 100MB connection (direct wired to switch shows AP with good gigabit connection, but internal house wiring cannot recognize gigabit). Newer homes are not properly wired for power supply from fiber suppliers like older homes were done (noted by installer). 50' lots are quite narrow, with price premium for a wider lot quite high. ... This was our first home and our questions were many. We were never made to feel ignorant but the responsiveness was very impressive and helpful. I would recommend Bloomfield to any family or friend.

The selling team was fantastic. Delivering a complete product to us was a bit of a disappointment. Out home was not ready upon move-in, although the contracting team had over a month to finish obvious buildout items. The walkthrough that was hosted was another disappointment with over 20 major items to replace or repair. Now 44 days after closing the punch list from the walkthrough is still not complete. Cute house, Really wish that the turnover would have been a more positive experience.

Inferior cabinets poor design with age may have major problems. Inferior dishwasher. House built on sloop which makes it difficult to use side yard access. There are two gates one on each side of house, but the air conditioning unit one one side of house prevents access to yard. Some electrical outlets placed wrong in bedrooms. Master bed room tub too small for a tall person. don't understand why they install base boards and door casings before floors. Then they put a lot of caulk under base boards. That look dosent look professional and unfinished. Why not put the floors down first then base boards and no caulk. I wouldn't mind working for them I would do my best to get these changes fixed right on each build. No problem at all with sales he was top notch and knew his product. Professionel all the time. ... Would choose Bloomfield again

As a first time home buyer, this process was stress free for me due in part to Community Sales Manager Robin and Builder Eric.

The sales staff and the contractor listen and resolve any issue that might arise. They are courteous, professional and both go the extra mile.

From the time we signed our contract the quality of customer service was exemplary. Our salesman, Scott, was very responsive and organized. He made sure to communicate with us as to what was going on with our house at all times. Our Project Manager, Dean, runs a well oiled machine he definitely stayed on top of things. The quality of build was good although there were a few issues after we moved in that were immediately taken care of. We would highly recommend Bloomfield to others.

Our Sales folks were excellent, the floor plans were great to choose from. Beautiful architecture inside and out. Energy Efficient. Complete Package, Sprinklers, Stained fence and sod all around.

AFTER SPEAKING WITH SEVERAL OF MY NEIGHBORS, WE ARE ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR NEW HOMES. CONCRETE IS CRACKED OUT IN DRIVES AND GARAGES. TRIM IS LOSE ON SOME OF THE HOMES, TREES ARE DYING, SPRINKLER SYSTEMS ARE A MESS, YARDS WEREN'T LEVELED BEFORE SOD WAS APPLIED, MASTER BATH SINK HAD AN 8" CRACK IN IT, TUB WAS CHIPPED, BATHROOM COUNTERTOPS WERE ALL SCRATCHED UP, A/C HANDLER HAD A LOOSE BRACKET & DIRTY FILTER. INTERIOR PAINT WAS MISSED IN MANY AREAS, FRONT DOOR THRESHOLD WAS CRACKED ON BOTH SIDES, ETC. RUSHED CARELESS CONSTRUCTION AND LANDSCAPING. WISH WE HAD TALKED TO THE NEIGHBORS BEFORE WE PURCHASED THIS PROPERTY AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. SO FAR, 6 OF MY NEIGHBORS ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR HOMES, AS WELL. BLOOMFIELD IS NOT A QUALITY CUSTOM HOME BUILDER. SHAME ON THEM. ... More

It was a pleasure working with Jacques. We thought we had issues, but with Jacques the issues and challenges were addressed and we are very pleased. It was also a wonderful experience working with his friendly staff. Buying a Bloomfield home at Buffalo Ridge, Waxahachie, Texas through Jacques was truly a pleasure.

Bill the salesman was great. He was very accommodating and actually listened to our desires and came up with solutions to make them happen. Jason the builder is phenomenal. We had a few "issues" after we moved in and Jason has been very responsive and timely in getting them resolved. Can't say enough good things about these two!
