We had a very pleasant home buying experience with Bloomfield Homes. The representatives were very courteous, knowledgeable, and assisted us in every phase of the building process.

Our home buying experience has been exciting and easier than expected. We are thrilled with our new home that will be ready this month.

Workers don't take pride in the quality or their work. Too sloppy.

Overall I like my home. But in hindsight I would ensure everything the sales manager told me was standard is clearly outlined in the contract. Items that he stated that were standard were not. I had to request my pre-constructionist meeting with the builder 2 days before the foundation was poured. I was told certain items I desired were not available with my floor plan during the pre-construction meeting, but I had photos of the same plan in another community with the options I wanted.but I wanted. Bloomfield does not appear to emphasize customer service with its sales managers and builders, Both seem to be focused on moving on to their next community. My during my final walk through I pointed items out to the builder to be corrected, he was reluctant to make the changes. When I went to the house after closing, the floors were dirty with shoe prints throughout the home on the wood floors. ... More

Love our new house...but still work to be done on the house 2 months after moving in

Ron my sales rep was awesome to deal with. He kept me informed thru out the entire process. If I did have a question he was very responsive to reply. I was looking at several other builders, but Bloomfield was very accommodating to my request and the over all superior quality was the ultimate decision maker.

Bloomfield homes have the “WOW” factor. The designs standout among all the modern home builders. The interior and exterior finishing are clearly above the industry best

As first time home owners, my wife and I were truly surprised and elated at the transformational process involved in bringing our home to fruition. We were kept up to date at every step of the process through text messages, emails, pictures, and telephone conversations. Being a first time homebuyer my wife and I went into the process with a lot of questions, concerns and unknowns. From start to finish Bob and his team were 100% committed to helping us every step of the way. They made the process simple and stress free. We are thankful we made the decision to go with Bloomfield Homes. Their trustworthiness, dedication and loyalty are qualities others should want to follow.

Doug, the blooms field sales rep, was soooooo nice, helpful and extremely informative thought out the entire process. He really puts the buyers interests first and makes things happen. He gets back to us promptly and even after we missed deadlines he would work with us on making last minute changes to the home.

Our family is well pleased with our new home. Our questions and concerns (we had very few) were addressed in a timely manner. The construction process was exciting to watch - from the pouring of the foundation to the finishing touches, we had a good experience. What we considered upgrades were actually standard features of this builder (lawn with landscaping, sprinkler system, fence, granite counters). Everyone who assisted us in this process was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Thank you

Bloomfield makes a great and very pretty house. We have had a few minor (not showstopper) issues including missing trim and minor adjustments as needed. We were hit with a $700 water bill the first month as the sprinkers had been adjusted to settle the sod - it had not been communicated to us to dial back the sprinklers and even when we did to the suggest values there was still a lot of water being used.

You can’t beat what you get with Bloomfield homes! Wonderful homes and great customer service!

Once I signed contract I never heard from anyone

Will state up front that we love our new house. It is wonderful, quality construction, a fantastic modern house. We are very happy there. But getting to that point was a painstaking process that almost caused us to pull out. We signed our paperwork on Memorial Day weekend, broke ground in August, yet didn't move in until late the following July. While I didn't expect that 6 to 8 month build the saleslady predicted, I did not think that it would take 14 months. Communication was poor and usually initiated by me. I can handle that part of it, but the excuses I got (when I got any) were poor. City falling behind on inspections, they said. Yet, the other builder in the neighborhood somehow was able to get their houses inspected an finished. The house next door to me, literally, was a vacant lot for at least a month after we secured our space. Yet their house was finished months ahead of ours. Eventually, a new foreman came in and was able to get everything moving and he was honest with us about the delays, which I appreciated. Because of the delays, we missed the Spring/Summer selling timeframe for our old home, which may or may not cost us money in the long run. Love the house and love the quality, but would not recommend this builder or use them again. Not trying to be rude, just being honest... ... More

Not a great service

Still waiting for issues discovered during the walk through to be resolved. Moved in over 2 months ago. Concrete driveway has/had multiple cracks and chunks of concrete missing before we moved in. Paint was all over the very expensive hardwood floor and it took two months of haggling to get them repaired. Looked like my husband painted the house rather than professional painters. Shower tile grout did not get sealed, glass in master shower had to be replaced due to large scratches. Master shower door does not shut properly so after every shower there is water on the floor. Air conditioner continued to leak condensation and we were given excuse after excuse as to why until the A/C professional came out and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Multiple cabinet doors and trim had to be replaced. Master sink had chips in it that had to be repaired. The dishwasher does not get the dishes dry or clean and you can’t open the door all the way to get the bottom wrack out. Building process lacks over site by the site foreman. No wonder they make you sign a form not to post on media any negative comments about them. ... More

Took the stress of home building and made it enjoyable. Team was always available for questions and put anxieties to ease. I will recommend Bloomfield to anyone looking to build a home.

Bloomfield Homes made building our new home a pleasant process. From our initial purchase with a wonderful sales staff, through our design phase and all the way through the actual build... they were very helpful and responsive at every step. It’s not the custom built home that we were moving from but they certainly gave us “ more bang for our buck”. There are many custom features that come as standard but be prepared to pay for upgrades. Special mention should be made for the excellent responsiveness and openness of our builders rep and building contractor. They were very professional and went above and beyond for us. Welll built home

Bloomfield surpassed all expectations both in the home and in the home buying process. Robin, the community manager, treated us so well and still does to this day. We are very happy in our new home and if we ever move again, we will be seeking out Bloomfield first.
