The entire buying process was seamless! I had previously built a home in New England and despite not building the home here, buying it brand new and working with Bloomfield was nothing but a great experience. Dona was great for helping search for homes and visit in person or virtually. Once I moved in, Eric was great quickly getting items fixed/addressed. I’d buy through Bloomfield again in a heartbeat!

We had a great experience with Scott. He was responsive, answered our questions and even went so far as to give us suggestions on how to keep things in good condition. Mandy was great from the beginning to the end. I love the fact that she gave us bi-weekly updates while our house was being built. Great Experience!

Quality of house is terrible. There is evidence of cheapest materials used through out every part of house construction. Because of this, there is no cold insulation in winter nor heat insulation during summer. Adding to that, the HVAC system is the cheapest version possible which struggles to keep the house warm during the mildest winters. To make things worse, the HVAC uses up 60% to 70% more gas to keep house reasonably warm. To keep the house at ideal temperature would mean thousands of dollars in monthly gas bills. The appliances seem to have been picked up from a clearance or refurbished store. They cut corners with things like doors, windows, bathroom and electrical fixtures. So many things have failed during the first month of ownership. Needless to say, we would never dare to buy another Bloomfield home, nor can we recommend it to friends or family. ... More

We had our home built by Bloomfield last year, and overall, the experience was very positive. After moving in, we noticed a few minor issues, and the warranty team responded quickly and fixed everything within a week. Overall, we’re very happy with the house and If you're in the market for a new home, I strongly recommend checking out Bloomfield Homes. My experience with them has been fantastic—from the initial consultation all the way through closing. The quality of construction, attention to detail, and thoughtful floor plans truly stand out.

Communication with both the construction manager and the neighborhood lead were exceptional. Rapid follow up and responses to questions were fantastic. My highest recommendation to potential buyers for Bloomfield.

I recently purchased a new build with Bloomfield Homes and the process was very smooth and wouldn't hesitate buying from Bloomfield in the future. The community sales manager, Mandy, was amazing and was so patient and helpful. She did a great job of keeping us up to date on building progress from beginning to end and very responsive to answer questions. The builder, Scott, did a great job and you can tell he cares about building a quality home and not cutting corners. The new construction market is riddled with builders that just want to throw up a house as fast as possible and move on but that is not the case at all from my experience. I know my agent was even very impressed with how smooth our build went. Immediately off to a bad start when the water line was in the middle of the closet floor and had to be rerouted. Workers were not careful to protect the work of others. Brand new cabinets and counters had paint from painters not bothering to cover them before painting. Painters cleaned up in the brand new sink leaving paint and scratches. Someone used the microwave and got sauce all over the inside and left it dirty. Workers would leave trash like food wrappers and spilled food on the floors and counters. Workers made holes for ducts in the wrong places which led to an immediate need for a roof repair. Another vent went straight through the kitchen ceiling and had to be removed and rerouted, followed by a ceiling repair. The electricians didn’t hit their targets either. An extra switch added so we could turn out lights in the bedroom without getting out of bed, was placed no where near where the bed goes, so we still have to get out of bed. Cabinets were installed with a drawer that didn’t fit so paint was damaged. Another cabinet had a crack and was left for us to find the problem instead of dealing with it. Brick work is decent but with some really wide patches of mortar in some places. Also, mortar was dropped and left on patios and now patios look dirty because they didn’t bother cleaning up after themselves. Damage to trim both inside and outside was not patched, just simply painted over. Tile floor could be smoother. Lots of high and low tiles. Grout was sloppy. Holes in grout and grout left on tile surface. Also, even though tile people covered with cardboard to protect, cleaner removed it prematurely and painters got paint overspray everywhere during touch up’s. Shower glass installed wrong left us with a leak. There is more but you should get the idea. All this is bad enough but the site foreman didn’t catch anything on his own. We had to point out the problems along the way. He didn’t even do a blue tape walk of his own. The excuse was it was too cold during the cold spell this winter, but the house had heat. Both the foreman and sales person acted like we were just hard to please for wanting things to be right. They kept telling us everything would look great before closing but after more than a month we are still dealing with workers coming to do warranty work to correct the problems, which is a huge inconvenience. ... We’ve had a very good and seamless experience buying a home with Bloomfield with the most thanks going to Dona in Sales and Eric, the building manager. Dona is kind, professional, attentive, receptive, and respectful of our time. She answers every question to the best of her ability and what she doesn’t know, she investigates and promptly follows up. Eric made the building experience exciting and he has an attention to detail that helped make our dream home a reality. No build is without its challenges and when we had concerns, Eric was responsive and handled changes with grace and ease. I was so excited to get my Bloomfield home. This was my first home and the home was so beautiful. I heard so many things about Bloomfield and how they’re such quality builders. However, I would expect the quality of their employees to match the quality of their homes, but that was not the case. The home buying process was very smooth until after closing when the keys to my house did not work for the front door, and the sellers agent Ty had no sense of urgency to correct the matter, nor did he seem to care. Imagine making your first home purchase for over 450K and being told by the sellers agent that it is now your responsibility to correct an issue that should have been fixed by them. I work in customer service so I am very big on serving customers and never would I have handled anything like that especially without being overly apologetic. To not even receive as much as an apology for the entire debacle def left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not refer my family or friends to this particular community because I’d hate for them to experience that type of treatment, but great home tho. ... More

The initial process was great. Everyone was friendly, attentive, responsive, and enjoyable to work with. The ending has been horrific. After signing, I was told by multiple people not to worry about issues that I see because Bloomfield would take care of them. The stainless steel sinks in the kitchen and laundry room were scratched beyond belief. The tubs had several scratches on them. When I complained about them, a worker was sent and sanded the scratches on all three tubs; therefore, one side of each tub was glossy and the other side was rough. I complained about the rough side, then, a tub refinisher was sent out to refinish the tubs. Now, the tubs are two different shades and have two different textures. I complained and expressed that I do not want two-toned, two-textured tubs in my new house. I would never have imagined refinished tubs in a brand new home that cost this much money. I paid for upgraded countertops, and the countertops have been rubbed with some type of cleaning solution that took away the gloss and has a chipped area. Hopefully, it will be replaced. The hood vent from the stove is very loud when the wind blows which is extremely annoying. From research, it says the noise is because the materials are cheap. I was told that is just the way they are. The commodes are tiny and are not a set. The base is from one company and the top is from a different company. The top changed color within a week and was not painted well. I have never been in a brand new home with two different brands for a commode set just to save money, especially with the cost of this house. Stains were in the commode that a professional came in and removed. Commode tops were chipped. Commode tops have been replaced. Microwave was making a loud sound. Some windows do not open. One window has a cracked base. There was a bulge from the baseboard that was repaired. Shower does not come with a flap to keep the water from getting on the floor. I was told to put a mat there to keep the water from making a puddle on the floor. Garage door stopped working properly within a week. It has been repaired. Some electrical wiring share the same wiring when there should have been separate wiring/switch. House has entirely too many cost cutting measures in it for the high price sold. I have not been able to enjoy this house at all due to the repairs that need and should be done. This is not my first home being built, but it definitely does not compare to the previous quality. This house has taken a toll on me mentally with the defects and economical measures taken. ... More

The entire Bloomfield team at Panchasarp Farms works hard at making your home purchase enjoyable and stress-free. From the very start, our Sales Manager/Robin and her staff (Stephanie & Jennifer) were very professional and knowledgeable. Our Project Manager/Terry, was also great to work with and provided the answers to all of our questions and quickly resolved any issues/concerns. The entire staff works together like a well-oiled machine. Thanks!

This was a painless experience. The quality of home you get with Bloomfield is excellent. They go above and beyond with the build. The salesperson in our neighborhood is top notch and knows his stuff. The design assistant is very personable and excellent. The builder is easy to communicate with despite his busy schedule. The team as a whole was great and if I had to do it all over I would definitely choose this builder. I would most definitely recommend them to friends and family and even strangers. They are top notch!

Home is amazing and of good quality.

It takes a long time to build a home--thousands of parts need to be fitted together. We had very few warranty issues and what there were was taken care of by the area warranty manager

Dona with Bloomfield was amazing during our entire experience. She was extremely patient working with us and answering all of our questions. She was quick to respond and resolve any issues. I will be recommending Bloomfield and Dona to anyone in search of a new home.

We were impressed with the quality of Bloomfield Homes the first time we looked at one. There are many extra touches included that other builders don’t provide. The overall process was great and they were willing to work with us when we were met with struggles. They were also willing to incorporate most of our requests and ideas into our home. The only thing that was less impressive was that there were not options on lighting inside or outside the home. We love our home!
