We bought a home from Bloomfield in April of 2023. The house looks nice but immediately after moving in it became clear that the quality of materials used and the quality of the labor hired to build it were subpar, especially at this price point. Within 6 weeks we’ve noticed cracked sinks, peeling paint, defective tiles, damage to our front door that was identified during the pre-closing inspection and still not addressed. Everything is made of particle board rather than actual wood and some trim in the kitchen is already peeling. The sales manager, Chris, is a pleasant guy and I genuinely appreciate his efforts to help us post purchase. Unfortunately, whoever actually oversaw this home being built (I believe his name is Brad) did a poor job. My gut feeling is that I will ultimately need to fix these things myself, which defeats the point of buying a new house in the first place. ... More

The project manager missed a lot of important details during the final inspection of the house. In addition of a very careless handling from management of the warranty process from Bloomfield side and poor customer service. We encounter a back-flood of used water at the second day of living in the house that damaged the walking closet. Incomplete structural area in the garage. Cracked bath shower. A set of dinning light that did not have a switch to turn on or off. A division between tub and wall covering that the warranty department insists is normal. Cracked tile. Missing paint/texture in several areas of the house. Scratched kitchen exhaust vent cover. Missing part in fence. Garage door wrong installation. Garage door dented. Nail coming out from ceiling. Appliances (oven, dishwasher, and garbage disposal) wrong installed. The master toilet leaking water due to bad installation. In summary, this had been the worst experience buying a new home. We bought a dewberry in April of 2023. The home is beautiful and we love it. Just like any man made product, we found issues within the first few weeks of living in our new home. Bloomfield warranty was quick to respond and resolve our issues.

Steve New is simply the best, he went over and beyond to make my dream come true. The quality of the house and the serenity of the neighborhood are my greatest attractions. I recommend Bloomfield homes any day, Thanks Steve I love my home

Please make sure you check all drawers and cabinets. Most drawers throughout the house are extremely hard to open as if they are off the track.

Decent Builder, but would be good if given attention to details. Lots of back and forth could have avoided, proper organization of details during the pre-closing is needed.

We have a beautiful home, and the buying process was easy but, we wish we had all items fixed before we closed. It is all most impossible to get anyone out here to do anything now. It has been almost two months and we still have a drainage problem and we never got cable installed? Other than that we like our community.

Best experience ever! You will not be disappointed with a Bloomsfield Home! This is the absolute best decision ever! You cannot beat the craftsmanship and quality that goes into a Bloomsfield Home, every detail is considered and it shows. Very pleased with my new home, highly recommend!

I love my home that I have built with Bloomfield. My sales manager Bill was the epitome of what customer service is. He was diligent in answering any questions or concerns that I had during the process from start to finish and afterwards. The staffing within Bloomfield has been courteous in assisting me with issues that have arisen since I have closed in helping get them resolved. Bloomfield homes are eloquent and stand out in the design and features.

We have some issues as we move in four weeks and the issues haven’t been resolved until now. First the backyard, AC Not working and there’s cracks on our bathroom walls and skunk in the attic and all these are still pending to be resolved.

No major issues or concerns. Builder does respond in timely matter.

The building process for my home had completed earlier than planned. It was amazing because the process was less than 6 months to complete. I am the first buyer to get the closing in the community of Arcadia Trails on March 24, 2023. The selling staff, David A, Kimberly, {and John is in the community office now} are friendly and professionally. David A is straight forward when discussing and offering things in buying process. Materials are good. The foundation of the home is excellent { the inspection also came from the buyer side.} The price is fair to me. I could be able to choose the floor plan, upgrades, and colors for my home. When I chose upgrades and colors for my home, Kimberly was a big help. I have got good words for my home from friends and relatives. David M has been very helpful about the light, electricity, etc for my home. He has always helped and provided instructions when we needed. My sister and many her friends are very interested in “the Bloomfield Homes’ style” . We got our dream home from the Builder. Lots of poor work in build. Walls are very crooked. Tile is not level in many places, cracked in transition from hall to rooms. Paint was not good either. Garage door is spotty around the edges(common when checking neighbors). Texture incomplete on every wall. Sanding not done. Garage door has already snapped the wall it’s connected to. Also very common when looking at other builds. Landscaping not leveled. Lots of drainage issues, will need to install a drain system to remove puddles in yard. First time I mowed I found massive holes in the yard that were filled with bricks. Overall, the work feels very rushed. ... More

Our buying experience was alright. We originally wanted to purchase a different house, toured it, and were ready to make an offer when one of the assistants said they were holding it for a couple who wanted to come look at it later. We toured another home and liked it and decided to put an offer in on it. Of course the other home fell through shortly after we signed papers for this home. Overall quality is mediocre. Finding a few blue tape items were never touched, towel holders falling out of wall, closet doors warped, areas they never touched up on with paint, paint freckles all over the tile, the list goes on. This was such an awesome and amazing experience for my wife and I. We were treated well throughout the entire process. It was seamless, they were friendly and the quality of the home is amazing. The neighborhood is beautiful and the people are extremely friendly. From start to close it was the best experience we could have hoped for and we closed when they said we would. Highly recommend these homes to anyone looking.

I love my home now, but I did not enjoy the home buying process with the Bloomfield sales representative who I found difficult to work with as he often did not like to answer questions and was rude when he did not know the answer. I also received inaccurate information on many occasions. Also, the original project manager assigned to me was terrible and never provided me with updates. I had to ask for updates along the way and missed a lot of the home building progress because if this. Everything was great! The house was already completed when we looked at it but Jeremy was great at the walk thru and had everything ready to go for close. Our closing was on time and quick.

The one thing I appreciated was Bloomfield’s integrity from the start. As I searched for builders I found myself being placed in a biding war situation to drive up the price of the home. Bloomfield had a fair process and even corrected prices as the market changed not because I asked but because they felt it was the right thing to do for their customers. Quality is high, Responsiveness is high, Integrity is high. I love my home and the community.

Name: Sam The dishwasher is very basic. It do not even perform dry after washing. Atleast give better grade products for high priced house. Similarly many such products are basic.
