I like the floor plan and exterior design the first time I saw the Bloomfield brochure. The colored brochure itself is a great idea, beautifully made, more like promoting a valuable home, than being hand-over a blueprint. Everyone at the Stone Ranch, Wylie office is very professional throughout the entire process. Matt has been very informative at every stage of the purchasing and construction. He was extremely accommodating and coordinated many of our extra requests due to being out of state. He made on-time closing possible. Cindy's design experience was extremely helpful when I was selecting colors and materials. One of my neighbors complimented it even before the construction was completed. Very pleased, professional, prompt and quality all great!

Great building experience. Paint in homes is sprayed very very thin. Not very durable. Slightest brush up on wall removes paint or if you try washing a stain off. Great solid build. Walls were bowed in many places. , builder fixed quickly

It was a great experience for us buying with Bloomfield homes , construction closing date did not change despite a few material delays. The whole process was a smooth breeze. I highly Recommend

As an experienced home builder, I thought this was not going to be a good experience. But I was wrong, their concrete slab is done correctly, the frame was as good or better than many I've seen. Their Team came in after the build to touch up and make small repairs. Just a few things, 1-I would have liked to choose my appliances grade, I would understand an up charge for this. 2-they should use H-clips in their roof sheeting or decking. There also could be another electrical switch in one place. This being said it's a good house. Bloomfield kept their word when other builders did not regarding the locked in price of the home when rates continued to increase.

Bloomfield honored the contract price even after one year of supply difficulties and supply price increases. They kept their promise to us. Outstanding.

Compared to the previous two builders that I have done business with, by far and I mean very far, my experience with Bloomfield has been superior from start to finish. I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials in my home and Bloomfield has stood by their word!

It was so simple to pick our lot, the model and the finishes desired. Overall very happy with the build. A few issues have been resolved in the first 45 days with just a couple to complete. I'm not totally satisfied with the backsplash as it now looks incomplete by not extending to soffit between cabinets. We would definitely buy again with Bloomfield.

Always kept us up to date with the progress of our home weekly. Answered questions in a timely manner. Did everything they could do to get our home finished on time ! Thank you!

We never heard anyone from Bloomfield say, "we don't do that!" They took every request under careful consideration and made a determination. Only once did they say they couldn't do what we wanted and they explained logiccally why they couldn't. They were extremly service oriented! We had been pretty badly burned and lied to on a previous build 3 years before. We told them this in the beginning and that we were paranoid about it. They were very sensitive to this and tolerated our questions with grace, I can't say enough great and wonderful things about everyone from Bloomfield! The home they delivered to us is a quality product with great attention to detail. The sales team will be coming over for a grill party after the pool is finished! I really love the home.

Of course we went under contract during challenging times so it took a little longer but Bloomfield has a price guarantee saw a price was locked in and we never had to worry about increases due to materials. Delays were minimum. Communication with a project manager was outstanding and still is. I would build another home with Bloomfield if I could have the same project manager.

Let me first start off and say that the quality of the end product was wonderful. Bloomfield builds a spectacular home that you walk away with very happy. So let me touch on a couple of the things that stuck out along the way: 1) Their system of keeping up with things is extremely outdated. Handwritten notes, spreadsheets (multiple versions), as well as voice conversations. All of these get mixed up and confused along the way, with each individual working off of different assumptions. Things that were verbally agreed to were forgotten at times; different versions of the spreadsheet were floating around which confused some of the orders. 2) Proactive communication was horrible. I came from a place where the builder would communicate with the client on a once a week or once every other week basis, just to let them know what MIGHT be going on within that time span. It provided me a sense of ease when that happened. However, with Bloomfield there was almost NO proactive communication. Often times I would get better communication by simply going to the city site and seeing the failures or passes of the city inspections. 3) Responsiveness on the reactive communication was superb. Whenever there was an issue (I stopped by the house a lot), the builder promptly took care of it. So, while the proactive communication was nonexistent, when there was an issue, the builder would get it resolved. 4) The quality of the upgrades is amazing. I NEVER felt like I was being nickeled and dimed to death. The standard options and the upgrade paths were very easy to understand. I never felt like they started me off in a very low build then I had to spend a TON of money upgrading. Was very pleased with their base product and the upgrades offered. I do wish I would have been offered some ideas, such as, a lot of people put a door here for a pool, or we've seen this done a lot in terms of customization. You don't know these going into the process =). If they would implement a better system for managing the actual purchasing process and a proactive communication plan, you'd see no complaints on my review =) ... More
