Great experience so far! Great home

Doug was great throughout the whole process. He was very helpful from the day we picked our lot, and floor plan, till the day we closed. Brett, the building superintendent was attentive to all our concerns during the build. Overall we had a great experience with our first home.

Overall my experience was not all bad, i love the design and spaces in each room. Workmanship was not all great, after closing its been hard getting contractors to fix issues, a lot of things needed to br fixed, but really slow on getting them fixed.

Bloomfield homes provided me with a great experience. They accommodated for pretty much every need that I had and they were always in touch to provide me with the latest updates. They honored the price in the contract, and there were no surprises at closing. I'm very happy with the final product.

The salesman was great, but the length of time it took to actually build our house, was over a year, but now that is up is A Beautiful Home and worth the wait , but had to deal with pluming issues, only after being in the house 4 days

This is my 3rd and most expensive new build. Unfortunately, this has been my worst homebuying experience. First, my keys were given to me in a ziplock bag. Contractors did not clean home...in fact, carpets were stained from red dirt. My advice to other customers is to please make sure ALL repairs are completed prior to closing. This company only allows one (initial) walk through...they do not record recommended fixes. Approximately 80% of recommended repairs were NOT completed prior to closing. In less than 30 days, I have had 15+ contractors in and out of my home to fix different issues that should have been fixed before closing. But because they do not allow a 2nd walk through, there's no way to verify if repairs were completed. Hired contractors are subpar and does shotty "patch work ". Warranty department (Shane and Ralph) is very defensive and accusatory, doesn't honor repair requests in a timely manner. Contractors do not show up on appointment date/times. Warranty department states "they don't control contractors ". Overall, I would not recommend this company. The shell is gorgeous, but I believe several short cuts have been taken. Plus, customer service is everything when trying to resolve concerns...this company (my region) lacks professional. ... More

My experience was great. I went into contract before a lot of my features had been chosen so I was able to customize a lot of different elements. Jeff and Jordan were very responsive to any questions I had during the process.

I had a very good experience with Bloomfield. They were honest and didn't pass on the cost of materials when they were skyrocketing. The home is well-built and anything that's come up, they respond and address quickly. I would highly recommend Bloomfield!

Just moved into our home a few weeks ago and looking back it was a wild ride! Supply chain issues, employee turnover and a volatile lending market added to the drama but in the end our Bloomfield team delivered an outstanding product. Home builder/Project Manager Jerry was under a lot of pressure but juggled a lot of balls to get us in in; still a few items on the punch list but we're overall very happy with the end product and would recommend Bloomfield to anyone considering a new home.

We went with Bloomfield expecting a great buying experience, yet it became a nightmare for us and our realtor. Communication is horrible and the least important piece of the buying experience to them. There is no clarity between builder and buyer which raise many red flags. We love our home, but the struggle to get to this point will not be forgotten. Bloomfield also need to do a review of their sub-contractors very poor craftsmanship of their homes.

It is a very tough buyers market. Finding a home was very difficult. Leslie and her team were able to make buying a home a reality. Thanks.

If you come in with low expectations than you won't be disappointed. It's like you're being bullied throughout the whole process because there's no other choice.

This was our first time building a new home and the transparency and customer service was outstanding. No notable problems.

Just be patient, and take a deep breath, in this market, it is taking a little longer, but rest assured that I have no complaints. I want to thank Jason our manager, Jason the builder, all those working behind the scenes to make things happen, to get our homes ready. Absolutely love my 3169 ft.² Dewberry. We’re enjoying our five bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, office, entertainment room. Enjoying the mature trees that were left in our lots in our area, absolutely fabulous. What a great idea it was to leave these trees, we have so much shade in the back. Make sure you study your floor plans and look over the upgrades. We love everything about our house and every upgrade that we chose, and it’s important to get and sit down with the person that will help you choose the colors and tile and flooring and listen to what they have to say. Very professional staff and very good workmanship quality overall. I can tell that the builder paid a lot of attention to details, at least on my house, which is a very decent and rare quality these days. Very happy with my purchase!

Great home buying experience overall

Brandon and Leroy were upfront and kept us informed thru the whole process. Answered all of our questions as quick as possible. I always saw the ads on TV and thought that it was all a gimmick. One day, my wife said we need to do something to get out of the apartment. So I called and the next thing I know we moved into our new home. We appreciate all the people involved and all that they did do help us get what we always dreamed of. Our new HOME! My wife. two sons and mother-in law couldn't be more happier. The build needs effective Quility Cotroller who can check all steps. The office manager and his teams are very cooperative doing great.

The care that was taken to guide us through our home buying journey was Incredible. The entire team was awesome.

The process of buying our home through Bloomfield has been an exciting journey. They walked us through the design process. The builder has been very responsive during the walk-thru and after closing. Suggestion: For those of us that would like more than 2.5hrs to make design decisions, it would help to have some online brochures to browse over long before meeting with the design consultant.

The actual purchasing process went very smoothly, just the occasional hiccup as one would expect in any process. The workmanship and materials, however, are terrible. Cabinet trim separations, rusted fireplace screen, exterior trim that wasn't painted, paint slopped onto the window frames, concrete that crumbles by hand and has mesh/cables coming out of it, no touch-up kit for paint, paint and texture cracked and flaking off of the walls in EVERY room, popouts in the driveway concrete, dried mortar all over the bricks, damaged volute (wooden first step) improperly installed, AC registers that cannot be adjusted because they were jammed into holes that were the wrong size, fireplace brick with mortar all over it, paint flashes and drips on every single wall, drawers with bent rails, a pot filler that was GLUED to the wall - not screwed on to the backplate, etc. It goes on and on. The warranty manager is fairly responsive overall, but the workmen he says are going to call or come out often don't call and sometimes don't even show up after they are scheduled. Really disappointed. The house is just slapped together in hopes they make it past the warranty period before it falls apart. ... More

What a great experience! From the beginning of the process to completion, everyone connected with Bloomfield Homes were courteous, respectful and truthful every step of the way. We had an exceptional Sales Rep and Construction Manager who were always available to answer any questions. We are so pleased with our new home and the community we are located. We are impressed with the quality of workmanship in our new home. The floorplan is perfect for our lifestyle and we look forward to enjoying our new home for years to come. We definitely give Bloomfield Homes a 5 star rating!
