Hew home finished on time. As with any new home, you tend to discover some flaws in the workmanship. Nothing major just a few minor items that were addressed rather quickly.

The Bloomfield home I purchased was to my satisfaction

The overall models are the best looking of most all home builders.

Everything was good but some of the builders rushed in some places and we had to call to get some things fixed but overall everything is good, a price we can afford and no major issues so far

People at office were very helpful

Very professional personnel, very polite, and rapid responses for issues claimed under warranty

From the very beginning when I stepped in to the model home, I was very impressed. I was able to make my selections for my new home, and was very happy with the choices. My home turned out beautifully. I would recommend Bloomfield to everyone that wants to have their home built.

Decent Builder, but would be good if given attention to details. Lots of back and forth could have avoided, proper organization of details during the pre-closing is needed.

We love the home we have built by Bloomfield Homes. The quality of workmanship and materials are of the top and the people who work with you for your home are very attentive and responsive. We love our home so far and enjoy our experience with Bloomfield Homes.

Building a new home is typically an experience like no other and there are things that Bloomfield allowed us to do that many builders at the time we were purchasing and building did not allow such as making changes and picking out our own colors, flooring, countertops, cabinets and much much more. This was individualized and not a package deal which my wife and I liked very much. Bloomfield was true to their word in our contract and did not make drastic pricing changes and pushing people away. The vast majority of the home was built well though we do have some items to turn into warranty which we have not experienced that process yet and hope that it goes well and smoothly. There are some items that should have been taken care of from the walk through and was not plus we were told that it would not be fixed that we are going to still turn into warranty and hope that we have a better outcome than we did before moving in. The floorplan we chose is a wonderful floorplan (Primrose) and we love the built-ins that Bloomfield has in the bedrooms, plus all the art niche areas. We would say that the materials used are like of great quality, however, some of the workmanship on the finish out is not. Our main issues lie with the workmanship on certain items and the timeline to go from start to finish. We don't count this against Bloomfield directly as it had to do with Vendors untimeliness in the building process, however, Bloomfield is the company that is making arrangements as to the Vendors they choose to use. We hope that there changes that are being made as a company to correct the Vendor issues that were had through the processes in our area. The buying experience was not bad at all. The house that we purchased is beautiful. The only thing I wish could have happened was at least one ceiling fan given as a courtesy. Especially for the price of the house that we purchased.

Great experience for first time buying a home.

The purchase and building experience were great. We were always kept in the loop about delays due to supply chain issues. The house is our dream home and so far its been great. We love the neighborhood.

Our home was already 80% completed by the time we decided to purchase from Bloomfield Homes. We had an excellent experience with the builder from that point through closing. Everything went as planned.

Overall great experience. Bloomfield had to work through many supply issues due to the pandemic and would provide updates every two weeks on the overall progress of the house over its many stages of development. Bloomfield also committed to a price which was great with the changing market. Our house did end up getting delayed multiple times, mostly due to things outside of Bloomfield’s control. Communicating the estimated close date once we pushed past the initial estimate was not clear and became worse as we pushed a few months past the initial date. That being said, when we needed to close by a certain date (about three months past our initial date and over a year into the build), Bloomfield did the best they could to get the house finished. Bloomfield has a policy that any design/color issues have to be resolved before close, which unfortunately meant when our stairs color was wrong we had to stick with it to close. The color was wrong due to an internal Bloomfield communications issue, which happens but unfortunately it’s something we have to fix ourselves now. We know that life’s new norm contains a lot of delays due to supply chain. That being said I appreciated the prompt communication from the whole Bloomfield team. We worked with Mandy and Scott and I can rave about how amazing they were through the whole process. Including getting some minor fixes done after the home was completed. Overall a great experience and a beautifully made home. I would work with them again.

Jeff and Seth are both amazing human beings and very easy for me to work with with even after closing. There were times I did become frustrated with the process and lack of material that caused delays, however me being very expressive with my feelings, both Jeff and Seth always made themselves available to hear out my concerns with compassion. The "Contract Guarantee" that Bloomfeild offers also helps with the anxiety of building during a time many builders are raising pricing during the build process. My a/c unit was upgraded and the builder gave no hassle st all in regards to changing the contract price. I had heard horror stories of builders threatening to cancel contracts due to frustrated customers with equity in their homes, however as many times as I called both Jeff and Seth, neither of them ever made any threats nor expressed frustration. Matter-of-fact I was made to feel as though they both felt my pain and was fighting for me vs against me. Thank you to both these gentlemen for being compassionate human beings. I love my Bloomfeild Home and the only reason I'm didn't give 5 stars for the question about the build process is because the building delays (which all builders currently have) compared to my 1st build before the pandemic. Building in a pandemic is not a breeze. Thank you Bloomfield for putting these two amazing gentlemen as my point of contacts as well as the ladies in the office. Great home buying experience overall. I would highly recommend Bloomfield Homes, as we have built with other companies and Bloomfield Homes blows them out of the water with unique, but simple floor plans. Well thought out according to lifestyle and visual appeal. No homes are priced well right now, but according to the market, they are a fair price. Only complaint is the lack of wall insulation throughout the home. We can hear little noises from across the home easier than expected. We love our home and are grateful for Bloomfield!

The house is well built. Needs a little more attention to details for this price range. Minor cosmetic and fit issues.

Really pleased with our new home, the layout, lot and Stone River Estates. We feel we got good value for the price. Many nice features, but the fit and finish was sloppier than we expected from Bloomfield. This involved the counters, sinks, tile floors, cabinetry, exterior masonry, the concrete work, caulking, etc. All minor stuff and fixable but should have been caught by the builder. Would've saved them money and us from the aggravation. Bloomfield has been great about sending subs out to address the issues. Most are resolved only a month after moving in. The advertised beautiful landscaping is a huge oversell. And they cut corners in our opinion, such as toilets that are not comfort height and using the same ceiling light/fan combo in the living room as in the bedrooms. The kitchen and bedroom cabinets look nice, but the drawer pull mechanisms are not very sturdy, Still, we really like our home and have no buyer's remorse. Perhaps our situation is common for homes built during and post-COVID. Hard to find employees, harder to find good employees and difficult to keep employees. Quality is not in question - they built me a quality home. Trustworthiness - the CEO really set the bar high for what he expects from his company. There were other builders that were up charging their customers for the inflated costs or canceling and resigning customers. Bloomfield came out and said - The contract price is what we agreed and signed on and we will honor that price. In a market with tons of delays, issues, and unexpected issues that says a lot about the company. I had a chance to talk to the CEO - he truly cares about each and every house that he builds and care about his customers. My builder Travis was extremely open and honest about expectations. Travis was always respectful, professional, and very informative when you had a question, complaint, or concern. Travis wanted the best for his customers as well. Value and price - again for the quality and size of house - the price is what i was expecting and great value. Responsiveness - I think at times communications were a little bit challenging. I think there are a number of factors that contributed to that. If i could recommend anything to Bloomfield is every two weeks develop a schedule or a portal where the future home owner can go and check the status. Like simple things - whats on tap for the next few weeks, successes - like frames were delivered - i think this would put peoples minds at ease. I think if there are delays in this day and age - communicating that to the customer can help eliminate tension / stress during this time. I know in talking with the team at Bloomfield - doing that alone could be a full time job... so i don't know how to accomplish that successfully - but would be greatly beneficial.
