Overall, we are very happy with our home. I do, though, have two complaints. First, Bloomfield made a math error in the price of the home, which they discovered 48 hours before closing. At that point, they stuck us with an extra $12k on the price of the home — no offer to split the mistake or make it right in any way. Once our agent loudly complained, they covered a minority of the cost. But it was very unexpected and unprofessional. Second, whoever painted the house spilled paint on the tile and carpet in every single room of the house (no exaggeration). It's astounding how much paint is ...

Everything started off being great, and as we started to get closer to closing everything went down hill. We was promised and told things that was not really true about how we would pay for things. We was told that our first payment would take place 3 months after we closed, which we started the month right after closing. There was issues with the alarm system stating that they would allow us to use the system for a year, and then we would pick up with it if we like the system. Then when speaking with the people with Ranger, we was informed that it was false information that was giving to us. ...

Overall we had a great experience with the Bloomfield team. Being out of state during this process made certain things difficult, but their flexibility and patience really made us feel like we made the right decision. We love our new home and community. If I had to critique one thing it would be the after closing support on fixing issues. Things are getting done but less sense of urgency compared to the building process. Still very happy overall.

When we first started with the building of our home, things were going very well. Even after the ice storm, we felt everyone involved was working with a purpose on our home. We received updates almost weekly. Closing was set for the end of June/early July, but as we all know, that's date is always tentative. With that information, we sold the home we were living in during the month of July, and the buyer agreed that we wouldn't have to lease it back until the end of Aug if we happen to still be there. Great build, poor planning with utility services

Overall, Bloomfield builds a great home. The only issues we had were a result of poor communication with the developer and utility services such as AT&T internet. Once we moved in we didn't have internet for a month. In addition, the pre wiring completed by the builder for internet is outdated. AT&T has had fiber direct for quite sometime now and the wires that are hanging (eye sore, hide them in a box) out of the closet are of no use. Finally, we have had to go to the post office to collect our mail as the developer failed to communicate with the post office and have keys ordered for ...

We bought a spec home prior to the foundation being laid; however, we were not allowed to change any of the options or color selections. Even though there were several options we would have chosen differently, we were OK with that. We asked for only one thing, to pay for two extra network ports to be added to the five that are included with the house. The sales person initially said yes; but later the builder said “no” and said, in fact, for the five included ports that they would run wires through the walls, but that we would have to go down to Home Depot and buy the ports ourselves and ...
