The houses are beautiful. The builders are marvelous. However, the loan officers, and the closing process was torturous. There were too many unnecessary huddles we had to jump over. It was very frustrating. Honestly, I won't recommend your mortgage lender to anybody.

Our biggest issues is getting things fixed in a timely manner. Seems like the building crews are just in a hurry to build these houses and do not take the time to do it right on certain things. From the first walk through to the last we kept pointing out stuff to be fixed and it never happened until we were just about fully moved in. Haven't heard back from the warranty company either on certain things. Our shower in the master bath has moved causing the shower door to not fully close. Mike the site manager did great and worked hard to get stuff fixed for us.

We bought a dewberry in April of 2023. The home is beautiful and we love it. Just like any man made product, we found issues within the first few weeks of living in our new home. Bloomfield warranty was quick to respond and resolve our issues.

Beautiful home, but…

We have a beautiful home, and the buying process was easy but, we wish we had all items fixed before we closed. It is all most impossible to get anyone out here to do anything now. It has been almost two months and we still have a drainage problem and we never got cable installed? Other than that we like our community.

Our buying experience was alright. We originally wanted to purchase a different house, toured it, and were ready to make an offer when one of the assistants said they were holding it for a couple who wanted to come look at it later. We toured another home and liked it and decided to put an offer in on it. Of course the other home fell through shortly after we signed papers for this home. Overall quality is mediocre. Name: Sam The dishwasher is very basic. It do not even perform dry after washing. Atleast give better grade products for high priced house. Similarly many such products are basic.

Atleast you have to use tankless water heater. Doors and paints are less quality materials.

Good home slow on repairs. Our home was not cleaned upon more in, allot of broken glass was in our carpet. We should be granted a free house cleaning.

I am overall happy with our experience with Bloomfield Homes. We decided to select them since were willing to make a few custom changes for us, but it was unfortunate those items had to be managed by myself! Our so called project manager dropped the ball so many times I had to ask Community Manager who is really managing this construction. Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. Buyer pay close attention. When they tell you to point out any issues, DO IT. The builder is not checking any quality. They just let to contractors do as they please. I was surprised at what we had to point out to be fixed. I thought obvious issues would be dealt with but no. They use the cheapest constructed cabinets I’ve ever seen. Zero quality. Zero pride in workmanship. Instead of making cabinet seems fit they just stick trim over the seam. Cabinet guides were bent and not parallel. Obvious from the beginning. Tough Year But Finally Done

This was a challenging year to build a house due to supply chain issues that created shortages in material but Bloomfield stuck to their price. Potential delays were communicated in advance and the sales rep did a solid job of maneuvering around the land mines. There are still a few cosmetic things that need to be worked on but I'm confident Bloomfield will take care of them. Overall, we're satisfied with the product and the process.

Make sure to ask that all weeds are cleared before they lay your sod. If not you will have crab grass and weeds coming through the sod. Other than that Michael and the builder Jason were a pleasure to work with.

Overall it was a good experience, we love the home and the neighborhood. So far we haven't had quality issues, our only criticism would be that at the move in pieces of garbage were left in the back yard, bottles, old banana peels, there were cans of beer left in the dishwasher and upstairs bathroom. And the lawn grass was getting a bit high.

Despite purchasing / building our home during the COVID-19 pandemic, the process was smooth. Sam, the project manager was very courteous as well. The only drawback to the entire process, was the attention to detail in the finishing process. I felt that was lacking in more ways than one.
