Bloomfield Homes - The biggest problem was that the supervisor was not here and

The biggest problem was that the supervisor was not here and that we had to point out problems that the working contractors were causing. We had a water leak after the stud walls were in place that never got address until we had to call it in to get fixed. We had 3 times they had to cut holes in the sheet rock to work on electric plugs that didn’t work. Each time fixing them and then having to go back and cut them out again. We still have a electric plug out side the back porch that doesn’t work. We had to have the framing contractor come back and place ceiling hangers where trusses were ...

Bloomfield Homes - Since materials and the housing market went through the roof,

Since materials and the housing market went through the roof, customer service, holding up to agreements and finishing build errors have gone straight downhill. It’s sad to realize 3 months in and just a few things left to correct and complete, I and my new home no longer seem matter to Bloomfield. I understand the market has shaken builders and buyers, but customer service should never be sacrificed in any industry or market.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Natalie, we sincerely apologize that this has been your experience. We strive to do our very best every day on every job. Indeed, this market and the delays that have resulted due to material shortages, etc. have made things more difficult for both home builders and new home buyers. I have passed your comments along to the Warranty Department & Service Manager for Sonoma Verde. Thank you. ...

Sales person was very professional and was able to answer most questions before the purchase.

The home was built in the time frame stated by the sales person and was kept abreast of its progress. I feel that issues with fixing items that need to be corrected after closing moved slower than normal. We paid extra for ceramic floor upgrade but floor was not protected during interior painting and has areas of paint smudge that are hard to clean. I feel that the workers need to be better supervised to take care of the minor details.

Thank you for your review. We are taking this information to heart and taking some actions to improve. bloomfieldhomes

Bloomfield Homes - I am happy with my new house, One thing I would like to mention

I am happy with my new house, One thing I would like to mention here that the sales manager or construction manager should spend more time with the buyer to explain all items in the house to avoid extra costs to the buyer in case if the buyer wants to modify or change something in the house after closing...Many buyers are not professional in house construction and design. Please address this poin to the associated team

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Thank you for this valuable feedback. We will communicate it to sales and construction. bloomfieldhomes

Cassie’s new home experience.

The allure of the home was that in the neighborhood there were various elevations. The homes were built in different styles versus cookie cutter homes. I love the bar, atty of different stone and brick combinations in the elevations floor plans. Unfortunately; I discovered lots of defects some have been properly repaired in a few. I’m still waiting on. When I did my exterior walk on the home, I don’t recall seeing the hairline cracks on both sides of the home. When I moved in, I noticed the cracks had been filled in with some type of silicone. I will give home some more time to settle ...

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Hi, Cassie - I want to first of all congratulate you on your new home purchase. Welcome to the Bloomfield Homes family. I also want to let you know that I have shared your concerns with the Project Manager. The silicone that you see in the brick is the expansion joint and is actually designed to prevent cracks. We would be happy to have the Project Manager explain further. Please fill out the Warranty Form on our website using this link and selecting the Blue Button "Submit a Warranty Request." Your Project Manager and Service Manager will receive your submission and follow up with you. https://www.bloomfieldhomes.com/warranty/ ...

Our buying experience was alright. We originally wanted to purchase a different house, toured it, and were ready to make an offer when one of the assistants said they were holding it for a couple who wanted to come look at it later. We toured another home and liked it and decided to put an offer in on it. Of course the other home fell through shortly after we signed papers for this home. Overall quality is mediocre. Finding a few blue tape items were never touched, towel holders falling out of wall, closet doors warped, areas they never touched up on with paint, paint freckles all over the ...

What was advertised as move in ready has been anything but! There were damages throughout the home we found on move in day and it has taken numerous attempts to make things right. Our customer service rep has been great but the quality of work is lacking and created unnecessary stress and inconveniences.

We have a beautiful home, and the buying process was easy but, we wish we had all items fixed before we closed. It is all most impossible to get anyone out here to do anything now. It has been almost two months and we still have a drainage problem and we never got cable installed? Other than that we like our community.

Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. Also, I moved in before they finished doing everything, I wish I didn’t close unless all ...

My wife and I purchased a Bloomfield home in Melissa, TX. The experience from the sales office to the design appointment was wonderful. Once we broke ground and began construction is when we started seeing things. Specifically, during construction, there was one area that was not framed correctly according to the blueprints. We mentioned this as soon as we noticed it in October of 2020 to our project manager Sam. He said this will get corrected at a later time. Weeks go by, and no resolution. Finally, they do a little work around, but it still looks terrible. We closed on the house in March ...

Inferior cabinets poor design with age may have major problems. Inferior dishwasher. House built on sloop which makes it difficult to use side yard access. There are two gates one on each side of house, but the air conditioning unit one one side of house prevents access to yard. Some electrical outlets placed wrong in bedrooms. Master bed room tub too small for a tall person. don't understand why they install base boards and door casings before floors. Then they put a lot of caulk under base boards. That look dosent look professional and unfinished. Why not put the floors down first ...

There were a few hiccups throughout the home buying and build of our home. They were taken care of eventually, but after moving in we discovered the rushed low quality workmanship that went into repairs and all around build of our home. Window height is not consistent and not sealed fully. Overspray of paint and stain in front and back porch. It is evident that a “good enough, hurry and get it done” mentality was used in building our home.
