If someone from Bloomfield that has authority sees this, I've written you as well. Where was the project manager? I brought up several concerns that were flat out ignored (work wasn't completed properly for warranty purposes). We did a punch list walk through 2 weeks before closing and half the items weren't completed. Had to get a painter over to at least handle all the baseboard touch ups from the wood flooring because I didn't have time to mess with delaying movers and dealing with having all furniture shifted to get to it. Other items, like patching missing trim, was left undone. Overall quality is as expected from a mass builder, but several items are unacceptable. I more or less had to manage my home build due to the lack of presence from the PM. And I've been stuck with the finish out as the work was dumped on the warranty guy (who's actually been extremely helpful), but I'm now having to coordinate my days and time to let people in to finish work that should have been finished before we moved. These are not warranty items, but punch list items. I feel a 5% of sale compensation for having to act as the project manager is more than fair. Second to none I’m greatly grateful

Burke was amazing but I felt that his hands were tied on certain issues, one classic example is I wanted cat six or cat seven cable runs for high speed connection and because it was outrageously expensive I didn’t do it and now I’m paying the price for it because my Internet is very very slow and its because of the cabling… I am very very disappointed in your contractors they do terrible work, leave trash everywhere, you have to keep going back and have them redo things over and over again, I would be more than happy to talk to one of your executives about this experience, if I’m spending a half a million on a house I expect nothing but perfection. Even to this day I’m still having issues with several things in the house that could’ve been prevented by doing better quality work and having more experience contractors that care about what they do instead of just throwing things together, please have somebody contact me I would be more than willing to go over quite a few items ... The home buying process was more or less OK. But the issue of (1) multiple cracks on the concrete floor of the garage, front and back porch and driveway, (2) nonfunctioning garage door opener on the move-in day, (3) a dead tree in the backyard, (4) blocked master bath tub faucet on the move in day and (5) malfunctioning one AC unit within two weeks (not yet resolved after almost one month now) do not say something good about it.

So this home buying experience was like no other. We originally signed a contract with Bloomfield 2 years ago. However, the loan agent we were working with dropped the ball, dragged her feet and we ended up finding out 1 week prior to closing that we were not approved. My wife and I were devastated. Jeff (Bloomfield's rep) called me within an hour of me finding out and told me to come down to the office, because he knew he could get us into a house with the preferred lender. Although we were upset that we could not get the house we originally wanted Jeff told us to go pick a lot and come back. We ended up picking a corner lot, and my wife was able to handpick every item within our house. Yes, we were delayed but the communication and expectations were always set by Jeff and Kevin. They never led me to believe they were delaying on purpose, and I can even say Kevin took personal time to go check on my house and the sub-contractors. To even go deeper on amazing this builder is, Kevin follows up with me almost daily now that we closed to ensure all issues were resolved if not, he is the first to get a hold of someone and have them over to my house within days. The whole process was smooth and Bloomfield was very attentive to our needs.

We have a large white pipe sticking up in the back yard that we knew nothing about it was late in the build. Then come to find out at the closing table that it has to stay because it belongs to the community behind us and that there is an easement so it has us limited to what we can do in the back yard. Back yard is slopped pretty bad as well makes it almost unusable for the kids to play.

Wonderful and seeming less experience through the whole process. We’re loving and enjoying our new home!

This was my 1st and only home buying experience, so I have nothing to compare this to. This review is just my opinion. In general they did meet my expectations. They are definitely not perfectionists. I have heard horror stories about other builders, my experience was overall/generally positive.

The biggest problem was that the supervisor was not here and that we had to point out problems that the working contractors were causing. We had a water leak after the stud walls were in place that never got address until we had to call it in to get fixed. We had 3 times they had to cut holes in the sheet rock to work on electric plugs that didn’t work. Each time fixing them and then having to go back and cut them out again. We still have a electric plug out side the back porch that doesn’t work. We had to have the framing contractor come back and place ceiling hangers where trusses were installed that were never put in place. I think a lot of these problems would not have occurred if there was a supervisor on hand to correct these mistakes. ... More

Started searching searching for my first home July 2020, fast forward to now, a year later, and am in a Bloomfield new build. The staff was friendly and present. They could add more staff to allow for more organization and transparency. Workmanship was pretty good, we also had our own inspector, and expressed our needs politely and respectfully so many of our asks were resolved. I never felt cheated at all. I felt confident that this was a trustworthy builder. I definitely recommend Bloomfield for your next home.

The homes are beautiful. Flat out!!! I only wish the detail in the work inside the home was beautiful as the look outside the home. Nothing is perfect however concerning the Detail for example the quality of paint and craftmanship work that doesn't need to be reworked or fixed is something that is just upsetting. However as stated in title management is the best even when contractors have bad days. Kudos to the Realtor an management team at Autumn run. Excellent to work with!!!

The builder, Mike, we dealt with was by far the most horrible human being. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. He never wanted to answer our questions/concerns. Sometimes he wouldn't respond at all. We called corporate to no avail. These people act as if they are not in business. During the building process there were an abundance of quality issues, lying, and wrong things being done, things left out of building plan that HAD to be addressed and the experience of dealing with the builder was gruesome! We viewed their ratings, and there it was in black and white. HORRIBLE! Our mortgage company had to ask for a closing date, we could never get a definite date. They were rude/unprofessional to our mortgage company and our Realtor as well. Bloomfield needs people that understand customer service work, maybe they would appreciate your buyers. It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE training and their jobs should depend on it. There are things that need repair so I pray! Our home buying experience with Bloomfield left us suffering! It was far from a smooth experience from start to finish and we closed over 2 months behind schedule. We do feel like they delivered a quality home once everything was finally done. Communication should have been substantially better. We went through 2 different project managers and a couple of different sales managers. I had to always be 2 steps ahead of them to catch mistakes.

This is my second Bloomfield home.. as builders go, their continued commitment to customer service is very good. And my daughter and son in law also bought as welk

Wonderful buying experience with Bloomfield. The location is ideal for us and the floor plans are all excellent. Moving from another state is always challenging and stressful, but Bloomfield made it very easy for us. The team was excellent and helped us with design, color choices and pretty much anything that necessary to make our move easy. Bloomfield is an excellent builder and we recommend them without hesitation.

Bloomfield was one of my top three choices to build my new home (the other two being Gehan Homes and Highland Homes). Bloomfield came out on top based on reviews, my sales rep. Patrice H. (Union Park), standard upgrades and incentives. The architectural details, features and quality stood out in all the models I viewed. I settled on the Dogwood model. And I've gotten lots positive remarks from friends and family for my floor plan selection. The home is very energy efficient and sound. There have been some quality issues with certain companies, but Bloomfield remained on top of things and made sure those issues were taken care of. Bloomfield is an ok builder for the price.

Before and after closing I have ask them to come and clean excess paint and grout off the floors. It looks terrible! I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t be acceptable if the shoe was on the other foot. So Bloomfield is not in my good graces as I write this.

I enjoyed the overall process, but didn’t enjoy how dirty my house was during the building process. The wood floors were filthy throughout the build process. They should have kept them covered until the build was finished. I also asked for an upgrade that was approved by the builder and then was later told that he didn’t want to do it. That should never happen! If it’s approved during the build process then they should proceed as promised.
