Bloomfield Homes - The home is gorgeous.

The home is gorgeous.. worth all the unpleasantness we dealt with for a year.. we started out with an amazing property manager who was very open and honest and communicated great. I also appreciated the project manager for his honesty along the way.. I understand covid was also in play so we were as understanding as possible.. they let go of our property manager and brought in someone we don’t trust at all. We waited from March of 2021 and moved in March of 2022… spent a lot of money living month to month on apartments cause we were given a closing date 4 different times. The title company ...

Build late and incomplete.

Over all I do like my new house, but the ask of this survey is to rate my experience. First off the build was a month late. I know this build was in the middle of a pandemic, but the reality is it caused me to live out of my RV for a month. It also forced me to keep my household items in storage an extra month. Second blinds were written into my contract but did not get installed till after I moved in. I had to take time off from work trot them to finish something that should have been done before I moved in. Third is my front door was wrapped and was leaving a half inch gap between the ...

Well, first of all the house was not professionally cleaned. I know I was out of state, but the Home Builder should have caught a lot of these problems. I've had to have warranty work fixed and I have an issue with having so many floor tiles to be replaced. Also, my two bathrooms need to be re-grouted and for being a new home they should've been grouted correctly the first time. I also have a window in my master bathroom that the windowsill is not finished so the workmanship is not there for me.

Disappointing Experience with Bloomfield Homes

From start to finish, the lack of communication and poor customer service were glaring issues that made the entire process frustrating and stressful. First and foremost, the communication from Bloomfield Homes was abysmal. There were countless instances where I had to follow up multiple times to get any updates on the progress of my home. Simple questions often went unanswered for days or even weeks, leaving me in the dark about important decisions and timelines. Furthermore, when I did manage to get in touch with someone, the customer service was consistently subpar. Responses were often ...

Seller was great. I had lots of issues with the builder about not addressing issues I brought up during construction and prior to closing that were supposed to have been resolved. Whenever I reach out for an issue I got the feeling that he was irritated with my requests despite me having no irritation in paying the money for the house. This was a transaction - I pay and you deliver the goods as promised. Bloomfield did not keep their part as I am still dealing with repairs which is very inconveniencing as I have to adjust my work schedule. I have been very disappointed with this process ...

Please know that a Bloomfield Home is a tract home. They speak of the quality in their homes, but they do not deliver. Bloomfield Homes has no quality control. They want to build a home and move on to the next home. Materials and workmanship are lacking in quality. Sales manager and warranty manager display minor interest in purchaser satisfaction.

Experienced a bunch of issues with the timeline changing sometimes on a weekly basis. Additionally when it came to integrity of the build there was back and fourth about how the walls should be finished. For Example - the walls downstairs looked like there were waves in them going in and out. When brought to the builder it was attempted to be justified and then went to why we shouldn't fix it. This was very disappointing because if there is an issue the answer should be simple. (Sorry we missed this we will fix this right away,) There seemed to be more excuses with this team than ...

This is my 3rd and most expensive new build. Unfortunately, this has been my worst homebuying experience. First, my keys were given to me in a ziplock bag. Contractors did not clean home...in fact, carpets were stained from red dirt. My advice to other customers is to please make sure ALL repairs are completed prior to closing. This company only allows one (initial) walk through...they do not record recommended fixes. Approximately 80% of recommended repairs were NOT completed prior to closing. In less than 30 days, I have had 15+ contractors in and out of my home to fix different issues ...

We went with Bloomfield expecting a great buying experience, yet it became a nightmare for us and our realtor. Communication is horrible and the least important piece of the buying experience to them. There is no clarity between builder and buyer which raise many red flags. We love our home, but the struggle to get to this point will not be forgotten. Bloomfield also need to do a review of their sub-contractors very poor craftsmanship of their homes.

The actual purchasing process went very smoothly, just the occasional hiccup as one would expect in any process. The workmanship and materials, however, are terrible. Cabinet trim separations, rusted fireplace screen, exterior trim that wasn't painted, paint slopped onto the window frames, concrete that crumbles by hand and has mesh/cables coming out of it, no touch-up kit for paint, paint and texture cracked and flaking off of the walls in EVERY room, popouts in the driveway concrete, dried mortar all over the bricks, damaged volute (wooden first step) improperly installed, AC registers that ...

Although I have now closed on a beautiful home, I was highly disappointed in this process. My sales associate was great however, the builde did an awful job. I have multiple photos that show the defects in spliced studs. I was constantly liked to and when I reached out to the builder to discuss issues I was fed even more lies. I came out every weekend to keep an eye on things and basically had to perform the QA process of a build myself. I give Bloomfield homes a 2 start rate based on the lack of attention to detail on the craftsmanship of my home. The lack of communication between the sales team and builder with buyer, lack of communication between the warranty department and contractors doing the job. For a first time home buyer our experience was not one filled with milestones and excitement. We had updated our self with may calls and trips to the house. Sales person lies and uses selective language to help lock you into a contract. During the construction the lies won’t stop even if you present evidence to the staff. The quality of work needs much more supervision from the project manager. From broken tiles to areas where grout is was missing by to areas where tape and beading is is flaking to areas not taped. Glass shower enclosure glass was loose and scullion wasn’t applied yet project manager presumes this is how it should be.

We decided to build with Bloomfield based off of reviews from family friends and quality of the home. However, we did not have the greatest experience in our buying process due to an overwhelming lack of communication. This was not our first build, so we knew what to expect. We understood that during this time, supply chain issues, COVID restrictions and more would delay our completion. But we didn’t anticipate that we’d spend weeks without a reply to an email/phone call or an update. We didn’t expect they’d change construction manager without letting us know. We bought a spec home prior to the foundation being laid; however, we were not allowed to change any of the options or color selections. Even though there were several options we would have chosen differently, we were OK with that. We asked for only one thing, to pay for two extra network ports to be added to the five that are included with the house. The sales person initially said yes; but later the builder said “no” and said, in fact, for the five included ports that they would run wires through the walls, but that we would have to go down to Home Depot and buy the ports ourselves and ...

Our home buying experience with Bloomfield has been the worst customer service experience of our lives. We were informed, mid covid (August 2020), that we would be closing 4-6 months after signing, that was not the case. We ended up closing almost 12 months after signing.
