Great overall experience with my new home.

Matt and Sam were great. Our one issue was a couple promises were either missed or miscommunicated. We were told we could get the cabinet handles (in their sample showroom) but when we closed on the house the cabinets had no handles. We were then told they don’t normally add handles. We were not told that initially and it added to the feeling that we were told things at the beginning in order to get the sale. We were also promised a half glass back door that never happened. Post close, we’ve seen multiple social media posts from our neighbors that they’ve had similar experiences.

Framing material was just fair. Many pieces were not in the best of shape yet workers still used them even after we brought it to their attention. Concrete laid was very wavy, holes in various spots, one corner completely fell apart. Brought it to their attention as we didn't want to have this be an issue when the flooring got laid and apparently they didn't fix it because we had to have 2 section of flooring relayed and some of our furniture still does not lay flat to the floor. Painting, texture fair. Paint is a very poor grade of paint and for the price paid for this home, should have better quality and workmanship. On the plus side design of the home is outstanding which is why we decided to continue with the purchase and rework things after the warranty period of the 1st year is over. We will not be recommending Bloomfield which is a shame because your designs and the community we are in is great. You need to hire better construction personnel who take pride in the work they do as if the home was theirs. ... More

I had a great salesman but the builder is horrible. I have been in my home for 3 months and I’m still waiting for issues that were pointed out prior to closing to be corrected. Bloomfield homes are amazing but the people I’ve worked with give them a bad name.

Our house was built in a timely fashion, we were kept in the loop by our Engineer Jordan who definitely addressed and was able to fix many issues that we had found. As we have been in the home, we have found small issues, such as only one screw in a door handle instead of 2, 2 screws in a door hinge instead of 3, things like this. Nothing major. If I had to offer one piece of advice it would be to make sure clients are offered all of the upgrades available to them in a particular model and then let them turn them down, as there were other options we were not aware of that we probably would have opted for. Our experience with Bloomfield has been great all the people I have had encounters with have been very polite professional and helpful.

The overall experience was great. Follow up on issues found after the walkthrough and inspection was not the best. Compared to the other builders in the area, this would be my first choice.

Bob & his team did a great job and always communicated with us during process. We will use Bloomfield again on our next house

When shown the completed hone, things did not work correctly such as the garbage disposal and the internet connection. There was actually a short in the internet connection that has to be fixed. In addition, there was supposed to be internet connections placed in certain rooms and was not. The hallway light fixture was missing. Also, the light fixture in the food pantry fell off. The upstairs bedroom is cold as ice no matter the temperature on the thermostat. Base paint was missing in some areas as well. Many things are wrong and definitely affected our trust to build with this company again.

After moving in they said to give them a call if something we see is wrong with home. He would have it fixed no problem.When my wife did call they told us just to put it on the list at the end of a year they will fix the issues under warranty. So I guess we cant have front window fixed or oven shield fixed front door hole fixed etc.

Bloomfield had the most intelligently designed floor plans that were thoughtful in layout and utilized all available spaces to maximize living and storage along with "flow"....especially the Magnolia, which is our model. The finishes that were standard with Bloomfield were additional with other builders, so we really feel that we received great value for the price. We opted for a number of upgrades, but never felt "nicked and dimed" in that process. Our project manager, Jordan, was a real partner who took the time to listen to what we wanted and worked to help balance what we envisioned with what was possible within the boundaries of a semi-custom home build. I would recommend Bloomfield to anyone looking to build a new home. It was a great experience that was stress-free, and we are thrilled with the end result. ... More

I love my home, there are still some issues that need to be resolved. I have been in my home for almost two months.

They are some of the best to build homes. David in the office is a great salesman/property manager. Very responsive and enjoyed working with him and Bloomfield!!

I enjoyed my experience as a first time home buyer. Being that I’m a single woman I had plenty of encouragement and assistance. Steve was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend Bloomfield to my friends and family.

I have a lot of little issues that are taking multiple visits to resolve or are not getting resolved at all.

The home was built in the time frame stated by the sales person and was kept abreast of its progress. I feel that issues with fixing items that need to be corrected after closing moved slower than normal. We paid extra for ceramic floor upgrade but floor was not protected during interior painting and has areas of paint smudge that are hard to clean. I feel that the workers need to be better supervised to take care of the minor details.

Doug and Julie were always ready to answer any, and all my questions. I am so happy that I put my faith in this team. They made me believe that I was the most important person in the world.

Great home for the price

Bloomfield continues to set the standard by providing homes with presentations, and quality of materials that could easily be offered above the included price point. This is our second Bloomfield home we have purchased, which should confirm our trust in this great builder!

I loved working with David and the mortage company they were a dream team and my wife and I never felt alone or there was not a time we did not understand that we could not call and get answers WILL reccomend to anyone buying a home

Home is build with quality materials and great craftsmanship.
