Workmanship very poor and your staff doesn’t care about getting things fixed. All we ever heard was “we have 30 houses to watch and can’t get there. That got very old after 30 days!

We made your builder aware that the Ac wasn’t working upstairs 6 weeks prior to closing. It wasn’t fixed on time and we were forced to move our closing back. We did our blue tape walk through and some of the issues were ignored. I brought this up to the builder and he told us that he could move the closing back again when he knew that we had to be out of our other house by a certain date. We could not move our closing back again. For us this ruined what would have been a great experience.

Bloomfield Homes responded:

We are basically happy with our home, but only because we like the design and location. Bloomfield has been a chore to work with throughout the selection, build and start of the warranty process. Jason, the builder rep., was very inconsistent with what options were offered compared to other Bloomfield owners, and when we discovered some of these options, we were told "you can fix that after closing, no changes are allowed after the contract is signed." Additionally, items like "upgrading" to comfort height toilets incurred an upcharge of $200 per toilet - essentially meaning we bought ...

We have built before with Bloomfield, but this experience was quite different. Unfortunately, the Project Manager, Floyd Argue, decided that he would not fix any issues on the house and actually asked us not to contact him with concerns. He struggled with basic knowledge of the building process and was not available for questions, concerns, or even basic walk through.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Hi, Nicholas. We do sincerely apologize for this experience. I have shared your comments with the Warranty Department. Please submit a Warranty Repair Request on our website and your Service Manager will get the repairs scheduled. Unfortunately, my home buying experience with Bloomfield Homes has been horrible so far. On my closing day (Oct 17) approx 75% of final repairs were not completed as promised. To make matters worse, Jared, the project manager was so disrespectful and threw a tantrum when asked about said repairs. He does not take accountability in making sure that Bloomfield Homes are completed to their once reputable standards. Two weeks after moving into my home I experienced a leak in my ceiling that was supposedly repaired prior to closing. I also experienced a gas leak in my two days before ...

The initial sales process and staff was wonderful. However, the end of the construction and closing was atrocious. Items called out during the walk through were not addressed in a timely manner. I submitted a report from my home inspector and those things were not addressed as well. Most were finally addressed after I moved in but my closing was delayed because of these issues and I just wanted reassurance that the things would be taken care of. Everything started off being great, and as we started to get closer to closing everything went down hill. We was promised and told things that was not really true about how we would pay for things. We was told that our first payment would take place 3 months after we closed, which we started the month right after closing. There was issues with the alarm system stating that they would allow us to use the system for a year, and then we would pick up with it if we like the system. Then when speaking with the people with Ranger, we was informed that it was false information that was giving to us. ...

Took 10 months for our house to be completed. Understand it was a challenge to build a house during a pandemic but we were initially told April and home was "completed" in July. We closed in July as we were asked to do. It is now September and we still have several punch list items outstanding. Also some problems we found after we closed and moved in. It has been a challenge getting items repaired. We were recently informed by Bloomfield that we need to deal directly with the sub contractors instead of notifying Bloomfield. House over all is good. But when it comes down to the details, it lacks. Lots of cosmetic issues with the interior paint, landscaping, caulking, etc. Getting Bloomfield to come out and attend to issues is slow at best. Most of the issues I’m fixing myself in fear Bloomfield will eventually send someone out who won’t fix it or make it worse. Overall, not impressed and kinda disappointed as Bloomfield should theoretically be a better builder than say a KB.

The paint drops on the wood floor, paint/texture on granite counters and poor workmanship with the caulking in the bathroom was quite surprising! It truly looks like a 5 year old caulked the bathroom. This was pointed out to the project manager during our new homeowner orientation, but nothing has been done since. I am not sure I would recommend a Bloomfield home, given our experience. We believe if we lived locally when home was being built, many of these issues would have been resolved prior to close of escrow. The home is beautiful, however upon moving in a lot of imperfections were noticed. It was very easy spot areas where the work was rushed, including the horrible paint job that can be seen in the evenings. A few repairs were made after getting my realtor involved, but the major concerns had been ignored and the responsiveness of the responsible parties is awful. If I had the opportunity to give this house back and go with another builder I definitely would. When I saw the model of this home I loved it! But when I asked the salesman about the process and what I needed to do, he sarcastically said "qualify for the loan" and he went back to what he was doing, That should have been my first clue to leave and not return. But I started the process. I went back to the sales office and was received in the same sarcastic manner until I pointed out to him that I qualified for the loan. Then his attitude changed considerably. He then became the perfect salesman... for a while anyway. He walked me through the model and I shared with him the ...

Bloomfield Home plans are beautiful. And the models are beautiful, but what you receive will have you dissappointed. They don't correct all of the items you call out from your walk through. A vendor informed me they couldn't do a better repair job b/c of the type of material the builder chose to use. Im constantly reminded of the poor quality of work. Holes behind outlet panels, crappy texture work, etc. Highly disappointed in the quality of work on our home for the price. You'll learn how to use the warranty portal quickly, but don't expect a quick response.

So many problems have been found in my home, just know Bloomfield won’t fix any of them. They will give you the run around, blame you and then just ignore your warranty. If you are moving into a new build you get the pleasure of listening to blaring music from the workers, the streets are literally trashed with garbage all over, and the nails in my tires have made me very popular at the tire store.
