Staff is rude and unprofessional.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
We are sorry to hear that you feel our staff is rude & unprofessional. We try our best to be as friendly and helpful as possible. I do hope you will give us another opportunity to help you buy a new home. Inspiration is sold out, so perhaps you can find something at our nearby communities like Grand Heritage or Stone Ranch. A number of issues with a new home

We have had a number of issues with our new home. These have ranged from a massive leak in the utility room that damaged the drywall to unfinished areas under the sink. Our latest issue seems to be another water leak that has led to a water bill for 25,000 gallons of water and what seems to be a loose screw or wire that was in the garbage disposal (our first use of it was greeted by a sharp metallic sound). We enjoy the home and it looks nice, but it just feels like a never ending chain of problems that we have to deal with. My wife felt so very good about the home when we bought it. She was ...

Bloomfield Homes - After about 6 weeks in our home it seems to be of good quality;

After about 6 weeks in our home it seems to be of good quality; however they appear to be slow in fixing the list of items identified during final walk through and during our first days in the home. There is a lack of communication on the status of any action being taken on the list.

Too many issues for a new build

I feel that there were corners cut when building this home. I can’t name ALL of them because there are so many. My thought is they had new workers that were starting out and my house was the test dummy. I would have liked my home to be of the same quality as the model home but one all the issues are fixed this could be a good home.

Great house - few issues not resoved

Bloomfield makes a great and very pretty house. We have had a few minor (not showstopper) issues including missing trim and minor adjustments as needed. We were hit with a $700 water bill the first month as the sprinkers had been adjusted to settle the sod - it had not been communicated to us to dial back the sprinklers and even when we did to the suggest values there was still a lot of water being used.

We purchased a spec house. Although there were a lot of thing we couldn't change, we were still pretty satisfied in the beginning. After we moved into our house, there were some things that needed to be fixed. The service was slow. My wife and I work, so we had to take off or wait until the weekend. We continue to find subpar things such as windows not sealed properly, scratches on the countertops, etc. Most of these things are fixed. I love my home but the service could be better.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us and we are very sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Thank you Ardis for providing your review, for we will use this to improve our shortcomings in this area. I've been in my home one month and 10 days and due to carelessness have had a water leak. I've been without the complete use of my kitchen since May 28th. The Bloomfield representative has been excellent getting the situation resolved, however nothing was offered for this inconvenience until I asked. One can expect some things to be corrected but not a water leak.

Bloomfield Homes responded:
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are sad to hear about your water leak and understand how frustrating that must have been. Wish I could give 5 stars because I love my house. Unfortunately this process has been horrible. My home was consistently left wide open even getting close to completion. My family and it we almost attacked by German Shepherds that we habitating in my upstairs living space. Our home is still not complete as per the contract. We closed on our home believing all punch items were done. That was not the case. There was broken cabinets, cracked tile, thresholds missing brick and a few other things incomplete. Now that I’ve lived in the house for a few months. Quite a few things I’ve noticed around the house that are a result of lack of craftsmanship or a lack of oversight in holding the contractors/vendors accountable. Fixtures and faucets not centered. Dings or paint flaws in the sheetrock. Some grout or sealant issues on flooring/cabinetry work. Windows not properly sealed causing airflow to come in. Driveway is all scratched up from contractors and some plastic bag trash is literally showing through the cement. Laid sod over rocks and trash. Lots of screws and nails laying around. The attention ...

I want to share my negative experience with ArrowBrooke’s sales manager, Jeff. Throughout the process, I felt that he treated me poorly and acted in a condescending manner. He often dismissed my questions with comments like “what do you mean, I don’t understand you” or “I already told you,” which made me feel disrespected. Additionally, he did not allow my sister to accompany me to view the house, which I felt was unreasonable and unprofessional. His overall attitude came across as controlling and belittling, and I felt bullied during the entire process. Because of this behavior, I ...

Immediately off to a bad start when the water line was in the middle of the closet floor and had to be rerouted. Workers were not careful to protect the work of others. Brand new cabinets and counters had paint from painters not bothering to cover them before painting. Painters cleaned up in the brand new sink leaving paint and scratches. Someone used the microwave and got sauce all over the inside and left it dirty. Workers would leave trash like food wrappers and spilled food on the floors and counters. Workers made holes for ducts in the wrong places which led to an immediate need for a ...

I liked the pricing of the house compared to competitors and also the customization options. Things looked okay until I saw the insulation methodology. The thing I can't digest is the usage of cardboard for weather barrier which coupled with the workmanship which is mediocre. So I am gonna have to live in a noisy, leaky, uncomfortable house with potential mold and pest problems. I expect better quality house for paying over a half million dollar. They are also rubbing it in by using weather barrier with 1in foam for all the houses that are currently under construction aroind my house.

Lots of poor work in build. Walls are very crooked. Tile is not level in many places, cracked in transition from hall to rooms. Paint was not good either. Garage door is spotty around the edges(common when checking neighbors). Texture incomplete on every wall. Sanding not done. Garage door has already snapped the wall it’s connected to. Also very common when looking at other builds. Landscaping not leveled. Lots of drainage issues, will need to install a drain system to remove puddles in yard. First time I mowed I found massive holes in the yard that were filled with ...

I am very please with my Sell manager experience but the Project manager experience wasn't good at all. Given my experience, I would still recommend Bloomfield. I love our home for the most part but I would not recommend building with the Project manager for our home. Again, I think that Bloomfield is a very good builder but we just had a bad experience with our Project manager.

Not pleased with the staff and their response time, regarding concerns. Contractors were messy, inconsiderate of property and patched up a lot of flaws. Project manager had poor communication skills and failed to monitor job site to ensure accuracy. Third home purchased and this was the only place the agent did not show appreciation by sending a housewarming gift, not even a plant :( Wish I had given the commission to someone more hospitable/appreciative.

Very little or no information has been provided during the construction stages. I feel like I paid an extra 25K comparatively with my neighbors who have closings upcoming. I don’t know why I got this price even after going through all the painful booking process in 2021 nov. old property manager doesn’t give any information or any incentives to any one. Very limited interior upgrades available comparatively with other builders. New property manager is complete opposite. I felt like I should have bought home in 2023 with new property manager.

What is good is you can choose your lot and home design. The price stays the same after you sign no matter what hapoens invthe matket. What is bad is the communication. They had an issue with the heating and air unit due to demand. We got an explanation but no details. When we questioned it we got a snotty email back. Many times telling us they will give us our earnest money back and this lead to a lack of trust for us. All we wanted was details.
