Do not respond to issues and mislead on information. Make changes and then act as if they did not. Will tell you to report anything you find after 30days instead of daily and then said after 30days you now contact the warranty people. So sad!!!

Cheaply built houses being sold for premium prices

Quality of house is terrible. There is evidence of cheapest materials used through out every part of house construction. Because of this, there is no cold insulation in winter nor heat insulation during summer. Adding to that, the HVAC system is the cheapest version possible which struggles to keep the house warm during the mildest winters. To make things worse, the HVAC uses up 60% to 70% more gas to keep house reasonably warm. To keep the house at ideal temperature would mean thousands of dollars in monthly gas bills. The appliances seem to have been picked up from a clearance or ...

The initial process was great. Everyone was friendly, attentive, responsive, and enjoyable to work with. The ending has been horrific. After signing, I was told by multiple people not to worry about issues that I see because Bloomfield would take care of them. The stainless steel sinks in the kitchen and laundry room were scratched beyond belief. The tubs had several scratches on them. When I complained about them, a worker was sent and sanded the scratches on all three tubs; therefore, one side of each tub was glossy and the other side was rough. I complained about the rough side, then, a ...

The paint drops on the wood floor, paint/texture on granite counters and poor workmanship with the caulking in the bathroom was quite surprising! It truly looks like a 5 year old caulked the bathroom. This was pointed out to the project manager during our new homeowner orientation, but nothing has been done since. I am not sure I would recommend a Bloomfield home, given our experience. We believe if we lived locally when home was being built, many of these issues would have been resolved prior to close of escrow. We believe the fact that we were out of state, we were taken advantage of to ...

The home is beautiful, however upon moving in a lot of imperfections were noticed. It was very easy spot areas where the work was rushed, including the horrible paint job that can be seen in the evenings. A few repairs were made after getting my realtor involved, but the major concerns had been ignored and the responsiveness of the responsible parties is awful. If I had the opportunity to give this house back and go with another builder I definitely would. I feel like I could’ve gotten a better home for the money that I spent and I really regret not going with one of the other homes I viewed. ...

When I saw the model of this home I loved it! But when I asked the salesman about the process and what I needed to do, he sarcastically said "qualify for the loan" and he went back to what he was doing, That should have been my first clue to leave and not return. But I started the process. I went back to the sales office and was received in the same sarcastic manner until I pointed out to him that I qualified for the loan. Then his attitude changed considerably. He then became the perfect salesman... for a while anyway. He walked me through the model and I shared with him the ...

Bloomfield Home plans are beautiful. And the models are beautiful, but what you receive will have you dissappointed. They don't correct all of the items you call out from your walk through. A vendor informed me they couldn't do a better repair job b/c of the type of material the builder chose to use. Im constantly reminded of the poor quality of work. Holes behind outlet panels, crappy texture work, etc. Highly disappointed in the quality of work on our home for the price. You'll learn how to use the warranty portal quickly, but don't expect a quick response.

So many problems have been found in my home, just know Bloomfield won’t fix any of them. They will give you the run around, blame you and then just ignore your warranty. If you are moving into a new build you get the pleasure of listening to blaring music from the workers, the streets are literally trashed with garbage all over, and the nails in my tires have made me very popular at the tire store. We’ve spent so much money out of pocket fixing what Bloomfield should have rectified during our walk thru or noticed by the builder. Lots of my issues are cosmetic and what I can see, it’s what I ...

This is my second Bloomfield home, 4th build experience, I have also helped sell several Bloomfield homes, and this was the WORST sales experience. From the get go, Andy was slow to respond and almost cost us several thousand dollars due to a delay in signing of the contract AFTER we paid our honest money… after back and fourth he relented and gave us a discount. I was so excited to get my Bloomfield home. This was my first home and the home was so beautiful. I heard so many things about Bloomfield and how they’re such quality builders. However, I would expect the quality of their employees to match the quality of their homes, but that was not the case. The home buying process was very smooth until after closing when the keys to my house did not work for the front door, and the sellers agent Ty had no sense of urgency to correct the matter, nor did he seem to care. Imagine making your first home purchase for over 450K and being told by the sellers ...

From the beginning, we were lied to. The interest rate for preferred homes and inventory was 4.99% with the preferred lender… we bought a home from the inventory and were not offered that. Communication was terrible, after the payment we didn't hear anything from the seller and were sent to do negotiations with the lender. The whole process was stressful.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, understandably there were some shortages. But 15 months we waited patiently for our home to be complete. There were months when it was dormant with no activity, no communication. At 12 months we began reaching out to the builder and no response by phone, email or text; When we finally arrived unexpectedly at the show house, we were told IT's Bloomfield policy to not communicate with pending owners, that's the job of the site manager. Wish I could write a great review but unfortunately the process was the worst I have had when buying a new home. Already having issues with pipes leaking delays from having simple tasks done. One would assume that when you purchase a new home you have no concerns when it comes to things breaking. wish this was the case. I purchased a Bloomfield home in the Arrow Brooke community in Aubrey/Little Elm, based on the online pictures and the schools mentioned by the project office. However, the home is quite different from what was shown in the pictures—for instance, there is no fireplace—and the school districts are different from what was advertised, which feels misleading. I'm now struggling with the inconvenience of commuting 5 miles to send my kids to school.
