Overall I like my home. But in hindsight I would ensure everything the sales manager told me was standard is clearly outlined in the contract. Items that he stated that were standard were not. I had to request my pre-constructionist meeting with the builder 2 days before the foundation was poured. I was told certain items I desired were not available with my floor plan during the pre-construction meeting, but I had photos of the same plan in another community with the options I wanted.but I wanted. Bloomfield does not appear to emphasize customer service with its sales managers and builders, Both seem to be focused on moving on to their next community. My during my final walk through I pointed items out to the builder to be corrected, he was reluctant to make the changes. When I went to the house after closing, the floors were dirty with shoe prints throughout the home on the wood floors. ... More

Love our new house...but still work to be done on the house 2 months after moving in

As first time home owners, my wife and I were truly surprised and elated at the transformational process involved in bringing our home to fruition. We were kept up to date at every step of the process through text messages, emails, pictures, and telephone conversations. Being a first time homebuyer my wife and I went into the process with a lot of questions, concerns and unknowns. From start to finish Bob and his team were 100% committed to helping us every step of the way. They made the process simple and stress free. Doug, the blooms field sales rep, was soooooo nice, helpful and extremely informative thought out the entire process. He really puts the buyers interests first and makes things happen. He gets back to us promptly and even after we missed deadlines he would work with us on making last minute changes to the home.

Our family is well pleased with our new home. Our questions and concerns (we had very few) were addressed in a timely manner. The construction process was exciting to watch - from the pouring of the foundation to the finishing touches, we had a good experience. What we considered upgrades were actually standard features of this builder (lawn with landscaping, sprinkler system, fence, granite counters). Everyone who assisted us in this process was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Thank you

Bloomfield makes a great and very pretty house. We have had a few minor (not showstopper) issues including missing trim and minor adjustments as needed. We were hit with a $700 water bill the first month as the sprinkers had been adjusted to settle the sod - it had not been communicated to us to dial back the sprinklers and even when we did to the suggest values there was still a lot of water being used.

Once I signed contract I never heard from anyone

Will state up front that we love our new house. It is wonderful, quality construction, a fantastic modern house. We are very happy there. But getting to that point was a painstaking process that almost caused us to pull out. We signed our paperwork on Memorial Day weekend, broke ground in August, yet didn't move in until late the following July. While I didn't expect that 6 to 8 month build the saleslady predicted, I did not think that it would take 14 months. Communication was poor and usually initiated by me. I can handle that part of it, but the excuses I got (when I got any) were poor. City falling behind on inspections, they said. Yet, the other builder in the neighborhood somehow was able to get their houses inspected an finished. The house next door to me, literally, was a vacant lot for at least a month after we secured our space. Yet their house was finished months ahead of ours. Eventually, a new foreman came in and was able to get everything moving and he was honest with us about the delays, which I appreciated. Because of the delays, we missed the Spring/Summer selling timeframe for our old home, which may or may not cost us money in the long run. Love the house and love the quality, but would not recommend this builder or use them again. Not trying to be rude, just being honest... ... More

Not a great service

Bloomfield Homes made building our new home a pleasant process. From our initial purchase with a wonderful sales staff, through our design phase and all the way through the actual build... they were very helpful and responsive at every step. It’s not the custom built home that we were moving from but they certainly gave us “ more bang for our buck”. There are many custom features that come as standard but be prepared to pay for upgrades. Special mention should be made for the excellent responsiveness and openness of our builders rep and building contractor. They were very professional and went above and beyond for us. Welll built home

Our home buying experience was great. Our sales manager was excellent, very detailed on explaining what we were getting in our home and very responsive to any questions or issues we had.

This was my first time buying a home. I was so excited, nervous, anxious about the whole process. They gave me the guidance I needed to build my dream home. They were all very patient and wanting to make sure that everything came out the way I wanted it too. This has been a beautiful experience and glad I did it with Bloomfields home and know one else.

From beginning to end purchase, picking out decorations and design to move in and adjusting or acclimating ourselves to the Bloomfield family with simple repairs and adjustments the experience and staff has been great. Given the chance to purchase again in any area that Bloomfield builds by far I’d purchase a Bloomfield home again.

After looking at several home builders in the DFW area, Bloomfield Homes got our attention. The details, quality of workmanship and price of the homes sold us on the purchase of a new home. During the process, everything went well and was easier than what I expected. The properties were well maintained and kept as clean as possible during the construction phase. If we had to purchase another home in the future, Bloomfield Homes would win our business. For any new home buyers, ask as many questions as you can and if it can be done, Bloomfield Homes will make it happen.

We are a first time home buyer, and we had high expectations, and we were very excited with our first house! We moved on May 31, 2019, and for our surprise, a lot of things on the house were unfinished having knowledge before the closing day of such problems and details. Today is July 7th, 2019 and we continuos having sketchy stuff like the doors of the study room are unpainted, the paint details in the rest of the house are incomplete. We never received the set of the different paint colors used in our home to fix accidents that happened during the moving process. We asked M. for everything we needed (for the second time, the first time was during the walkthrough before the closing.) Today day they have done some of the work. We received the sample floor kit; the master bathroom sink was fixed, a problem we had under the island on the kitchen was resolved. Also, the texture was changed under two of the arches that needed it. However, we discovered now that the bathtub on the master bathroom has no hot water; the water is only a little warm. We are VERY DISAPOINTED with the company. How do you want to be considered a trustworthy company if we are leaving for a month and 21 days in an unfinished house? Just a scenario to illustrate our frustration: Is the day of our closing, but unfortunately, we haven't the money needed complete. We are sure you don't wait for us a month or two to have the cash on hands, and then proceed with the closing. For us, this situation is very unethical and unprofessional. We are unsatisfied with the quality of the work and the termination of our house details. ... More

Bloomfield provides features as their base to what other home builders consider upgrades. The quality of materials used is outstanding and the choices are extensive. My wife and visited almost every builder surrounding Dallas/Ft. Worth and Bloomfield by far was the best value for your dollar. We had our house built from scratch, the only improvement I'd recommend is with their communication with buyers. Specifically with communicating updates on the construction process and responding back to emails/texts in a more timely fashion. This concern may have been "site" specific. My wife and I are extremely happy with our new home and would recommend Bloomfield to everyone we know. ... More

For new home buyers be aware that “Standard Features “ in a model home in one community is not equal to standard feature in all communities. Pay attention to the details.. ask questions and it will save aggravating and misunderstandings

Very satisfied with the whole process of building a new home with Bloomfield. This is my second home I've built and I was already familiar with the building process but Bloomfield made it easier by being there every step of the way by addressing any concerns we may have had and correcting any issues that came up during the process... Total success
