Poor workmanship and a lack of attention to detail. Ceiling leaked, yard drainage issues, lost water pressure, poor caulking/weather stripping, many things not leveled/are crooked, cabinets now starting to crack, retaining walls cracking. The list goes on. I've only been in the home a couple of months. My high marks go to the responsiveness to issues as the builder in this area has been great to work with and really seems to care. He makes sure to get our issues resolved when we make contact. I was just hoping for better quality at this price point and not to have this many issues so early on in ownership. Compare all the quality and standard before you buy. Don’t just look at the model home.

Leslie and Bill are wonderful. We had some hiccups but they handled them quickly and correctly.

Nice home, i wish the lighting in the living room and breakfast area of the house was well planned or laid out

I HAD A GOOD PRICE ON THE HOME I PURCHASED. THERE WAS MINOR ISSUE (PAINT TOUCH UP, MISSING PLASTER HERE AND THERE, SOME SINGLES ON THE ROOF TO BE FIXED PRIOR TO CLOSING...) TO BE HONEST, BLOOMFIELD'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD, THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY TO THE ISSUES AND RESOLVED THE ISSUES IN A TIMELY MANNER. I WOULD RECOMMEND BLOOMFIELD HOUSES TO MY FRIENDS IF THEY NEED TO SEARCH FOR A NEW HOUSE IN LITTLE ELM AREA

Exceptionally built home at a great price!

My Primrose V is a beautiful home, I am actually enjoying today. What I am disappointed with is the workmanship issues that I am constantly finding, I can forward pictures if needed.Some issues were promptly taken care of by Jason while others made known to him have been lingering.I have actually fixed some issues myself because of the delayed response from Jason.I would really like for someone to visit my home so that I can cover all workmanship issues and help future Bloomfield customers enjoy a better product.

Everyone at Bloomfield was so helpful, kind & quick to resolve any issues we had. We would definitely recommend this builder!

Things can improve if the follow up on issues and concerns get done.

The salesman Jason at Bloomfield homes is awesome and great guy! His staff is wonderful and answer all questions and details. So in Lavon it is a great experience and great people to deal with.

Our Bloomfield experience was great! Their homes are well designed with great attention to detail, a total package. Our home was ready to enjoy. Complete with sodded lawn, landscaping, sprinkler system, fencing, security system, blinds, LED lighting and built in extras. The quality and finish is excellent.

Bloomfield homes are built with quality and perfection. I recommend ALL of my friends and family to Bloomfield Homes they have locations everywhere or coming near you soon.

When you decide to purchase, and the time comes for your walk through. Pay close attention to everything. Major or minor. There will be some things that will come up after your move in, but you should not have a problem getting them taken care of if your patient

We are still hoping for the overall good experience with purchasing Bloomfield Homes and are hoping this works out. During our initial purchase we had zero problems with the sales person, Bill, we had a contract with a home but another house in the same community with a model we wanted cancelled, so we went with the other house still with Bloomfield that was 90% completed. When we got closer to closing, the sales person threatened to cancel the home on us because we weren't going with the loan company he recommended. He and the loan company were calling me non-stop to tell me how bad our bank was and we should go with his recommended lender. It took me writing Bloomfield corporate office to get him off our back so we could close the home without that undue stress and threat. The corporate office didn't care who we went with, it was only the sales person. Our first experience since moving in, the dishwasher wasn't connected properly so it leaked, flooded and warped our hardwood floors within the first two weeks. The builder for our community, Jason, has been great and making us feel better with the issues we have had. At no cost to us, he had the dishwasher installed properly, the floors were torn out and re-installed. It was a nuisance because we had the floors torn up for over a week when we are trying to move in, but at least it was done and it looks good. We found 4 windows that significantly leak when it rains, again Jason is working to get them fixed. They aren't fixed yet but Jason has been good with contacting us and getting people in. Our air conditioning wasn't working and Jason got the A/C people to come by, they realized the equipment was installed properly but the breakers on the units had it turned off which is why it wasn’t working. So we went a few weeks with no A/C. Again a nuisance but was fixed before summer, but I feel this could have been figured out with a builder check list. For future buyers, we feel Bloomfield is a good home, good quality and good value. We love the design, the look, the lot and even though we've had some issues, we are happy. Future buyers need to pay attention close when signing paperwork because we realized the sales person in our area is bad and paying attention to detail and poor with paperwork. If you point something out, he gets visibly frustrated. He's super friendly if everything goes his way and you go off his recommendations, which is why we went into our original contract with them but we had to have him re-write our contract 5 times before we signed anything because each time he would forget something that we talked about. Then again, add in him threatening to cancel our contract just because we went with a different lender that was giving us a better rate and pay much less in closing costs. Again it is important to note Bloomfield doesn't care who we went with, it was just the sales rep. My wife and I almost walked but we thought, this is just a sales rep and years later we won’t remember his name what’s more important is Bloomfield has a good reputation with quality homes so we would deal with him to get the house we’ve always wanted. I would highly recommend Bloomfield Homes. We’ve done a lot of research with finding a builder in this area and their homes are gorgeous, great lots, we love their designs and they do have a great reputation for building a good quality home. We have had some initial issues but they have done a great job with addressing them immediately and following up to make sure we feel good about it. In a year or two we will forget all about dealing with their sales rep, what we’ll care about is being in love with the home. If you asked me to rate the sales process, it would be a 1. But overall I would give Bloomfield a 4 or 5 stars because in the end their homes are great. Finding the right home for my family is more important than a couple of hiccups in the process. ... More

MY WIFE AND I VIEWED A FEW OF BLOOMFIELD HOMES IN DIFFERENT AREAS AND DECIDED TO USE A FEW IDEAS FROM EACH IN THE BUILD OF OUR NEW HOME!

Wish I could give 5 stars because I love my house. Unfortunately this process has been horrible. My home was consistently left wide open even getting close to completion. My family and it we almost attacked by German Shepherds that we habitating in my upstairs living space. Our home is still not complete as per the contract. We closed on our home believing all punch items were done. That was not the case. There was broken cabinets, cracked tile, thresholds missing brick and a few other things incomplete. We've been in almost two months and still dealing with issues. Our yard will be torn up some time this week because the sprinkler line wasn't run to it's own meter as per Glenn Heights regulations. For all these things to be comoleted I've had to miss time off work. Our home is beautiful but I can't recommend Bloomfield to friends with good faith. ... More

House over all is good. But when it comes down to the details, it lacks. Lots of cosmetic issues with the interior paint, landscaping, caulking, etc. Getting Bloomfield to come out and attend to issues is slow at best. Most of the issues I’m fixing myself in fear Bloomfield will eventually send someone out who won’t fix it or make it worse. Overall, not impressed and kinda disappointed as Bloomfield should theoretically be a better builder than say a KB.

Staff extremely responsive.

The value and quality of a Bloomfield Home is second to none. We bought a beautiful home at a wonderful price. The layout and finish that Bloomfield Homes uses, makes the home feel elegant. Thank you Amy for working with us to get into a wonderful first home.

The staff are very professional and friendly. High marks for that, as for the workmanship and attention to details, they are poor. Slow to respond and I have had to call a few times to get things accomplished. Overall value, I purchased a supposedly higher end home with I feel low end workmanship when it comes to quality.

Going through the process was easy. David always took the time to respond to my calls and emails. The superintendent was also willing to answer any questions we had. It was one of the best experiences we had as a family.
