Very patient with me while picking out choices and changing my mind few times Building process went smooth entire time and I always got responses back quickly when I had questions I would recommend this builder to anyone I am very happy with how my home turned out and wouldn’t have changed anything

The builder answers quick if there is any issue big or small they will get you taken care of

With so many home buying options Bloomfield delivered what it was expected. Even with the current health crisis a lot of suppliers have been affected and the building process was definitely impacted by that; however Bloomfield maintained a consistent communication with us and how things were developing during the process. Also, my experience using Bloomfield’s own financial mortgage services was excellent. Happy with our decision of buying a home here in Somerset.

The Bloomfield team here at Hutson Oaks was really great to work with during the building process of our new home. I would recommend that you come in and explore the different floorplans they have available. Some of it you cannot visualize, but you have the opportunity to go to other Bloomfield communities to see what the house actually looks like. Be prepare to have several choices when it comes to picking out paint, brick, countertops, etc. It can be overwhelming. But the sales team had a few homes that we were able to go in and looked at to see what the tile, and fixtures looked like. Always ask questions if you are not sure about anything. As a first time home buyer, this process was stress free for me due in part to Community Sales Manager Robin and Builder Eric.

The sales staff and the contractor listen and resolve any issue that might arise. They are courteous, professional and both go the extra mile.

AFTER SPEAKING WITH SEVERAL OF MY NEIGHBORS, WE ARE ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR NEW HOMES. CONCRETE IS CRACKED OUT IN DRIVES AND GARAGES. TRIM IS LOSE ON SOME OF THE HOMES, TREES ARE DYING, SPRINKLER SYSTEMS ARE A MESS, YARDS WEREN'T LEVELED BEFORE SOD WAS APPLIED, MASTER BATH SINK HAD AN 8" CRACK IN IT, TUB WAS CHIPPED, BATHROOM COUNTERTOPS WERE ALL SCRATCHED UP, A/C HANDLER HAD A LOOSE BRACKET & DIRTY FILTER. INTERIOR PAINT WAS MISSED IN MANY AREAS, FRONT DOOR THRESHOLD WAS CRACKED ON BOTH SIDES, ETC. RUSHED CARELESS CONSTRUCTION AND LANDSCAPING. WISH WE HAD TALKED TO THE NEIGHBORS BEFORE WE PURCHASED THIS PROPERTY AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. SO FAR, 6 OF MY NEIGHBORS ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR HOMES, AS WELL. Cheap materials for way over priced home.

Great experience! Very attentive and receptive to our needs during the building process. We were informed of next steps during construction. Was ahead of schedule. Would highly recommend Bloomfield as your builder.

We love the home and the neighborhood. Construction was completed within the estimated timeframe that we were quoted. We were amazed and happy with the type and number of options available for our home.

The home is beautiful and we are overall pleased, just a few workman and build things that we missed that could have been done a little better.

Inconsistent texture on the walls. Faucet leaked. Cabinet cracks. Gaps around outlets. Light fixture not connected to a switch. Attic door misaligned. Lots of area over sprayed. Very unfortunate with current COVID situation, otherwise we would be requesting warranty work to be done immediately.

If you decide to have Bloomfield to build your house make sure you continuously stay on top of the process because any hesitations can lead to something not going according to the plan of your home. I was supposed to have some recessed lights installed in my living room and because I took it for granted that they would install them, they did not get installed. I talked to the builder about it and they said it was nothing they could do about it because my ceiling was to high for them to go back and install the lights. In addition, the workers were urinating on the floor of my new home and I had to bring that to the project managers attention, but he acted like it was a every day occurrence so get it over it. My house turned out good, but I had to bird dog the builder until the end. If I had to do it all over again I would use another builder just because of all of what I went through to get the house built. ... More

Home is well built and any issues have been resolved quickly. Downside is the lot. I was promised a level lot, in particular, the backyard. Lot is not level which causes pooling of water, mud pits and drainage issues. This will cost me a lot of money to get corrected. It's obvious the lot was not graded or smoothed out prior to placing the sod. Ruts and grooves throughout. And the side yards are useless due to the extreme slope on both sides.

Overall pleased with my home purchase; however, it would be beneficial to Customers if the the grading of the property and landscaping process is reevaluated for quality improvement. I spent my effort exculvating boards with nails, plastic bottles, and trash as well as covering irrigation lines. In addition, there is poor irrigation coverage and flooding in some areas that may require one or more service calls to correct.

I have been so please with every step. Bloomfield is truly unique in their approach to building - creating homes, not just houses - and taking pride in what they deliver.

We have had multiple problems and we have been brushed off for the most part. We also have not.closed on our home and have been given the run around the whole time. The close date is already 3 months behind and Nick is the rudest contractor! We have not ever built a home from scratch and after this experience, we won’t again! Please help us get into our home, so that this is over! Also, get every last one of your people some training on communication and customer service. We hav had graffiti and vandalism in our home and we are treated like we are the criminals! Is customer service dead? It's a beautiful home and arquitecture and the customer service is great in the first part of the process all the way untill you sign and move in but in my case . Very disappointed because of damages not taken care of correctly and made worse by the companies that were sent and at the end I was told that they will not fix the problem flat out.

Workers don't take pride in the quality or their work. Too sloppy.

Ron my sales rep was awesome to deal with. He kept me informed thru out the entire process. If I did have a question he was very responsive to reply. I was looking at several other builders, but Bloomfield was very accommodating to my request and the over all superior quality was the ultimate decision maker.
