I recently purchased a home from Bloomfield Homes at Hulen Trail, and overall, I found that the houses are generally in line with what you pay for. The prices are reasonable, and the community manager was a standout in terms of being great and very responsive. I always felt like I could count on her for assistance. During the closing process, we encountered some issues with the quality of the home. However, the community manager was extremely helpful in organizing and addressing all of these problems. Just make sure you look at everything closely at your home before putting your earnest money down. We like our home we don’t love it and that’s a big difference. Not our first home that we purchased and we loved our other home. And for the price of these homes could certainly offer much more but it seems there is a lot of cost cutting!

Our initial interactions with Bloomfield was very positive. Michelle showed me a home and I wanted to come back with my wife. Surprisingly, Michelle actually followed up with me for a time for us to continue our search. We initiated a contract but had a few speed bumps during the application process but Bloomfield worked with us every step of the way. If you're looking to purchase, you have lots of choices. I love my home, it's beautiful but when the A/C doesn't work properly or during a storm rain coming into the windows, Kitchen draws getting stuck and cosmetics issues you have asked to be corrected have not it is disheartening.

Since moving to Texas, Bloomfield was immediately one of my favorite builders. I watch them build several communities and was impressed by all. When the timing was right for me to purchase it was smooth and easy even when I changed my mind on the house and the closing date. They worked with me and kept me informed through the process. Needs improvement in communication and customer experience

Construction manager was let go during the build process and we were never told. We had to continually ask for a status. Once we closed we didn’t receive a welcome package. We had to ask how does warranty service does work. We were never told Ranger offered free automation. Every time we asked questions we were made to feel like we were a burden on them. Once we moved in we were unaware there was a small gas leak in the fireplace. All the network jacks we had requested were installed with phone jacks. Worst Homebuying Experience Ever

Both the sales consultant and builder failed to communicate pertinent information during the construction of the home. Many assumptions were made regarding design, construction, and even internet capability, but at no point was I notified of any changes that would impact me. If there was a foreseeable or discoverable issue it was Bloomfield’s responsibility to convey this information so that I, the consumer, could make an informed decision.

I am having a hard time in seeing the quality of Bloomfield homes. While installing landscape lighting in the flower bed, I found trash below the mulch. It was full of brick and stone debris from the construction of the house, as well as water bottles and food wrappers. Whatever dirt was on the trim on the inside and outside of the house was never cleaned, it was just painted over. The trim around the front door was also gouged from where they brought things into the house and was just painted over. My closing date was charged several times. Finally moved in with a lot of issues needing to be resolved. House plan is beautiful but craftsmanship is poor; paint stains all over, crooked wall lines, chipped concrete floors, etc.

Have had several issues since moved into home. Bath tube crack has not been resolved in master suite, Sheetrock under sink in bathroom has not been resolve, cabinets drawers in the island do not close properly, beeping of smoke detector for several days has not been resolve even after we changed the batteries several times. Slow responses of issue we have had in the past some have taken weeks to resolve and others no resolution. The issues we have had in the home that were resolve have taken time to correct.

My wife and I was very excited doing the building process of our new home. However, once we moved in our new home we noticed “Several” things were missed and over looked by the contractors. This is our first home and we loved that we got the opportunity to build. Overall correspondence was ok, thankful for Donna’s help. We couldn’t give a 5 star due to some of the issues with our brand new home. The paint is already chipping on our window sills, could be the quality of paint. Looking at homes was a long process, and unfortunately we weren't able to find the perfect home for us. That is until our realtor connected us with Bloomfield. We toured the model homes and spoke with the manager. We found a beautiful home that had all of the amenities we wanted. We couldn't be more thankful! After moving in, we did notice some things that needed to be repaired. It happens, and they weren't major repairs. We contacted the warranty services and received a response within 48 hours. Soon, the repairs were scheduled. I am so thankful for Bloomfield and their excellent care.
