Home is well built and any issues have been resolved quickly. Downside is the lot. I was promised a level lot, in particular, the backyard. Lot is not level which causes pooling of water, mud pits and drainage issues. This will cost me a lot of money to get corrected. It's obvious the lot was not graded or smoothed out prior to placing the sod. Ruts and grooves throughout. And the side yards are useless due to the extreme slope on both sides.

Overall building experience went well w/Bloomfield!We would suggest Bloomfield for building home.They gave us a date of move in w/o any real issues.The date to move in was correct and didn’t have to worry about any double moves.

The home building process as far as Contract, Selections and any preliminary issues was very good. The actual building of the home took extremely long. Approximately 14 months from contract. this was in part due to a change made by us at the beginning, however the biggest slow down was the shortage of trades to complete the work as well as some material shortages. Overall we are pleased with the house. while I would say it wasn't the best experience, I would do it again and I would recommend Bloomfield Homes.

We signed purchase agreement early March 2020 with a December close. COVID-19 brought things to a stand still but despite material delays we were only pushed out 30 days. We are very happy with the final result. The material/design and the quality installation by each trade shows within the end result.

Our experience began spectacular and as we progressed through our 1st time building a home; with high excitement level there were a few misinterpreted customization liberty's between us the buyer, sales office and builders preference as we got close to the end of the build. After a few emails and face to face meeting we were able to come to a happy median. Well worth the delays and the periodic detailed conversation for understanding, the only improvements would be more detail explanation on what new buyers can do and cant do during the construction period. Great home first and foremost. Beautiful. No complaints about the design or the cost. The complaint comes against the community manager. Man I cannot say this with enough force; ZERO communication about the closing process. Total guesswork the entire time as far as closing dates. Was told at the very beginning that projected closing date was December 11. That day came and went. Ended up closing February 26. Was never told that after you “walk” the property you are expected to close within 5 days of that occurrence. Left out to dry as far as the previous residence and what to do with that as ...

We purchased our Bloomfield home at a time when prices were rising and the builder did not provide any incentives. However they used quality building materials and we were always in contact with our sales agent Dona and builder Eric. They always responded to any inquiries we had and our home came up great. We had most of the things we wanted but passed on some upgrades which we were able to do later. The experience was great but the bathrooms were not painted with semi gloss paint which we ended up doing ourselves. That needs standard on all their homes.

Overall the building processed lacked communication. Very slow to respond to serious questions. However, home did come out very nice. Now that we have a few warranty issues the lack of communication and follow up seems disorganized and or non-existent.

They don’t build them like they used to. All to true at this point in history. As a watchmaker and jeweler I have a passion for craft. I think Bloomfield builds a pretty good product all things considered. My family and I are very happy with our new home and hope you will be too. The buying process was almost flawless. Unfortunately, two of the tubs placed in my home has stains in them as well as there are some areas that looks to be rushed jobs. There was something wasted on my carpet and a couple of panels/baseboards broken and installed.

We knew going into this homebuying process that we were in a pandemic. We asked from the very beginning about any foreseeable delays. Overall, pretty solid experience. However, we were delayed a lot, understandably due to the pandemic. But with the extra time, we expected better workmanship. My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. The value of the home is amazing. Great choices and many standard options are considered upgrades with other builders. The process had its ups and downs. There were many moments where communication lacked as to delays during the build and what was to be expected. The workmanship disappoints a bit as it seems they rely to much on the warranty. A lot of small issues that add up that should have been caught before closing if they just slowed down and checked the work thoroughly. Best quality, fit and finish compared to other local builders. Our family is one that moves frequently and have experienced many issues with relocation company inspections and home condition requirements. Had relocation company inspect home. Several of the exceptions found by them were not code violations, however none-the-less, they would be expected of me to remedy at my expense upon the sale of the home with my next move. Bloomfield was reluctant to remedy these issues during final walkthrough. Not a del breaker, but it takes away from a top score/review.

Our overall experience with the sales manager, Dona Bolton, was amazing. She was helpful throughout every step of the process. As we moved into our new home we definitely were in love with it.
