Bloomfield Watersbend North - Cheapest possible build

The builder's workers provided sub-par and damaged material, examples are the soaking tub has repaired holes in the side of the tub, the countertops are scratched and patched in multiple places, a leak in a vent was pointed out multiple times and not fixed. The toilet seats were damaged by the workers' use. Zero storage in the entire house, even the small attic space was consumed by the air conditioners being placed in an L shape around the ladder to the attic preventing access to any portion of the attic. Gaps under and around all external doors, back door was damaged to make it fit. ...

Attention to basic detail is lacking There were expected construction delays in building the home and now that we are in the home, we are noticing multiple issues most small. There were statements made prior to closing, specifically to the SEER rating on the HVAC that were unsubstantiated. we were told the home was supposed to have a 16 SEER unit and were told they weren't available, i checked with the manufacturer to find this did not appear to be true. Instead, Bloomfield made the statement that we would get a 15 SEER 'equivalent' unit. I asked for documentation on how ...

For what we pay for these homes, I feel a lot is slap together We received keys for the home told that masters open all doors. I have small children in the house and we are still waiting for keys to unlock and lock the attic spaces in there bedrooms no urgency…

Thank you for your feedback, Emilia. Please contact your builder or service manager for assistance with the key. We hope you and your family are enjoying your new home and community!

Bloomfield is a large builder here in the metroplex and it would be best if they had a central home center to make your decisions regarding all your options (choices). Some things we were not aware of.

I do not wish the sales rep Fran on anyone. She looses all paperwork never remembers any. Basically had to send her screen shots to get my paperwork correct. As for Material home is great but the fence is horrible the first day in we had to start putting out money for it. We are 30 days in and over $600 that the builder would not fix. Its very bad. I have contacted warrity but no response.
Bloomfield Homes responded:
Hi Breeanna, we apologize for any issues throughout your home building experience. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide a quality warranty experience. I recommend resubmitting or following up with your service manager for any outstanding warranty issues. I would say that my over all experience with Bloomfield was good. I have some doubts that the use of Dryline External sheathing is very good quality. Other builders in my area are using better quality sheathing. Could be a supply chain issue. I get the impression Dryline is just cheaper. The sales people I dealt with were at times quite annoying. In the finishes process I wondered if they were sales people or the budget police. It was quite strange at times. Over all I would say Bloomfield is a quality company. A deal is a deal in a time when many builders are not honoring contracts. I would ...

The buying process was almost flawless. Unfortunately, two of the tubs placed in my home has stains in them as well as there are some areas that looks to be rushed jobs. There was something wasted on my carpet and a couple of panels/baseboards broken and installed.

I am so in love with my house. Each day I fall more in love with my floor plan. I built the Hawthorne II plan and I can’t say enough good things about it. My builder Chet is amazing, knowledgeable, quick in responding to questions and follow-up. I don’t know how he keeps up with everything, but he does. He’s exceptional. Francine and her office team are the best. I feel at home and I know I made the right choice building with Bloomfield. Star Ranch is beautiful and quiet just like I had imagined and prayed for. I’ve met some really nice people here. I thought this was my retirement home, ...

My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. However, regardless of costs/market, there’s still some things on our new house that make you go “hmm….is this just cheap or did someone make a mistake?” Overall we are pleased. We like that Bloomfield put a drip system around the foundation as part of their new home packages, which will keep the foundation rock solid for ...

The home building process as far as Contract, Selections and any preliminary issues was very good. The actual building of the home took extremely long. Approximately 14 months from contract. this was in part due to a change made by us at the beginning, however the biggest slow down was the shortage of trades to complete the work as well as some material shortages. Overall we are pleased with the house. while I would say it wasn't the best experience, I would do it again and I would recommend Bloomfield Homes.

I have unfortunately learned a hard lesson having a home built by Bloomfield. There has been many mistakes made resulting in a poor quality home. From drywall coming down in garage from a roof leak, to upgrades that were mismanaged & completed wrong. This build should be used by Bloomfield management as a case study to better understand the state of the company. I challenge Bloomfield to convince me to do business with them again. The Warranty department has reached out & started the process of fixing the quality issues. If warranty can pull this off, I will be sending out emails to upper ...

Bloomfield Homes - We purchased our Bloomfield home at a time when prices were

We purchased our Bloomfield home at a time when prices were rising and the builder did not provide any incentives. However they used quality building materials and we were always in contact with our sales agent Dona and builder Eric. They always responded to any inquiries we had and our home came up great. We had most of the things we wanted but passed on some upgrades which we were able to do later. The experience was great but the bathrooms were not painted with semi gloss paint which we ended up doing ourselves. That needs standard on all their homes.

Our overall experience has not been as expected, my previous two homes that I had built the process was much smoother. This process ended-up being very stressful and costly at the end. One of the many issues that my wife and I had was that it just took too long to build our house, one year and four months to be exact, that is a long time for a track home to get built. The frustration began, when we went to our in-home consulting meeting with Scott to pick out colors and other add-ons we would like to have in the home. Scott had no idea on how design and colors work, he primarily pointed at ...

My wife and I were very excited about the house but as we came by every week to check the construction progress, we started to get worried. Many issues the project manager was missing and we felt that if it wasn't because we were making them aware, they wouldn't even noticed. Don't trust the process! Check yourself weekly to make sure everything is to your plans. Cabinets are a joke specially if you order them white. We paid almos 4k upcharge for deluxe package and got regular plain cabinets that has been service 4 times already. Very disappointing process and the lack of communication made ...

Bloomfield has the worst workmanship I’ve ever had! I’ve bought homes from KB homes, Richmond Homes, And Seeno homes, by far Bloomfield is the worst! You can see all the drywall tape, patching on walls door trim damages and baseboards damages! This is a new home and I am the first owner, but this home looks like someone lived here before damaged a bunch of stuff and they hired Mexicans from Home Depot’s parking lot to fix it!
