Overall, pretty solid experience. However, we were delayed a lot, understandably due to the pandemic. But with the extra time, we expected better workmanship. A few issues that we are just not pleased with such as several cracks in the driveway already, drywall and texture eye sores, few areas that needed cocking, cracked tile pieces in the shower, “lumpy” landscaping, a giant hole in my front yard that still hasn’t been filled, and several “hollow” spots on the floors... we’ve addressed a few issues but at this point it just feels like we are bugging Michael and we feel we shouldn’t have to ...

The prices are reasonable, and the community manager was a standout in terms of being great and very responsive. I always felt like I could count on her for assistance. My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. The value of the home is amazing. Great choices and many standard options are considered upgrades with other builders. The process had its ups and downs. There were many moments where communication lacked as to delays during the build and what was to be expected. The workmanship disappoints a bit as it seems they rely to much on the warranty. A lot of small issues that add up that should have been caught before closing if they just slowed down and checked the work thoroughly. Best quality, fit and finish compared to other local builders. Our family is one that moves frequently and have experienced many issues with relocation company inspections and home condition requirements. Had relocation company inspect home. Several of the exceptions found by them were not code violations, however none-the-less, they would be expected of me to remedy at my expense upon the sale of the home with my next move. Bloomfield was reluctant to remedy these issues during final walkthrough. Not a del breaker, but it takes away from a top score/review.

Our overall experience with the sales manager, Dona Bolton, was amazing. She was helpful throughout every step of the process. As we moved into our new home we definitely were in love with it. However after being here a few months, we are not as in love as before. Our first discovery is realizing the home is not fully insulated. We have waited five years for our Bloomfield home and are greatly disappointed with the lack of customer service from the community manager to the construction /project manager.We have been highly disappointed in the quality or lack of workmanship throughout the house. Just make sure you look at everything closely at your home before putting your earnest money down. We like our home we don’t love it and that’s a big difference. Not our first home that we purchased and we loved our other home. And for the price of these homes could certainly offer much more but it seems there is a lot of cost cutting!

I love my home, it's beautiful but when the A/C doesn't work properly or during a storm rain coming into the windows, Kitchen draws getting stuck and cosmetics issues you have asked to be corrected have not it is disheartening.

Workmanship was just poor . We did a initial walk through with the house not complete . The building foreman knew that the was not ready, but continued on with the walk through anyway. Yes he did say if we were not happy we can postpone the walk through the out the whole walk through. Have had several issues since moved into home. Bath tube crack has not been resolved in master suite, Sheetrock under sink in bathroom has not been resolve, cabinets drawers in the island do not close properly, beeping of smoke detector for several days has not been resolve even after we changed the batteries several times. Slow responses of issue we have had in the past some have taken weeks to resolve and others no resolution. The issues we have had in the home that were resolve have taken time to correct.

Roof leaks.

I need for Bloomfield homes to take responsibility for my roof leaking. The roofer doesn’t seem to know if it is fixed or not. The insulation is mildewing in the walls and attic. If my family gets sick, everyone will know about Bloomfield Homes.

Our builder Chris is the only bright spot for me. He is responsive and does what he can when there are issues. The dishwasher has not worked for close to a month now. The garage door broke and the company “TBS garage” is a farce. Initially left a message on their 24 hr emergency line and never got a response. I called again after the whole power outtage/water ordeal and person said that their system is down so they can’t schedule me for service and that they will call me back. Do your final walk through when the builders are finish working

Overall the home is good. However it does not appear that much attention was given to details. The finishing touches appears sloppy. For example there are stickers on all the outlets, the plater was not cut correctly where the plaster and floor of the garage meets, their is paint on surfaces where it shouldn't be.

I love my house! The few things I found that needed fixed in the first month they were very responsive to. A few hiccups in the contracting phase and with getting keys when I closed, but overall it was good. Bloomfield builds the best homes! I wouldn’t want another builder. Thanks for everything.

If you decide to have Bloomfield to build your house make sure you continuously stay on top of the process because any hesitations can lead to something not going according to the plan of your home. I was supposed to have some recessed lights installed in my living room and because I took it for granted that they would install them, they did not get installed. I talked to the builder about it and they said it was nothing they could do about it because my ceiling was to high for them to go back and install the lights. Kathy was friendly sometimes. Other times it was as though she was doing me a favor. She was very unfriendly once he knew that I could not close on the date she wanted me to. Moreover after the house was sold to me and I found out some problems she shoved me off to the warranty company.
