Roof leaks.

I need for Bloomfield homes to take responsibility for my roof leaking. The roofer doesn’t seem to know if it is fixed or not. The insulation is mildewing in the walls and attic. If my family gets sick, everyone will know about Bloomfield Homes.

Our builder Chris is the only bright spot for me. He is responsive and does what he can when there are issues. The dishwasher has not worked for close to a month now. The garage door broke and the company “TBS garage” is a farce. Initially left a message on their 24 hr emergency line and never got a response. I called again after the whole power outtage/water ordeal and person said that their system is down so they can’t schedule me for service and that they will call me back. Needless to say they never did call back. Feels like the product looks great on surface but filled with crap ...

Do your final walk through when the builders are finish working

Overall the home is good. However it does not appear that much attention was given to details. The finishing touches appears sloppy. For example there are stickers on all the outlets, the plater was not cut correctly where the plaster and floor of the garage meets, their is paint on surfaces where it shouldn't be.

I love my house! The few things I found that needed fixed in the first month they were very responsive to. A few hiccups in the contracting phase and with getting keys when I closed, but overall it was good. Bloomfield builds the best homes! I wouldn’t want another builder. Thanks for everything.

If you decide to have Bloomfield to build your house make sure you continuously stay on top of the process because any hesitations can lead to something not going according to the plan of your home. I was supposed to have some recessed lights installed in my living room and because I took it for granted that they would install them, they did not get installed. I talked to the builder about it and they said it was nothing they could do about it because my ceiling was to high for them to go back and install the lights. I heard great reviews about the company. I was referred by someone in another subdivision. I visited several other locations and experienced high level of professionalism. Kathy was friendly sometimes. Other times it was as though she was doing me a favor. She was very unfriendly once he knew that I could not close on the date she wanted me to. Moreover after the house was sold to me and I found out some problems she shoved me off to the warranty company. So many things were not explained to me like the sprinkler system, alarms and pest control services.... these are all extras that were unknown to me. I have a water leak and I’m unable to find it. I received a two emails from the city of Cleburne saying that I have lost 2 gallons of water per hour for the last 18 days and I’m unable to find the leak. I’ve called and sent emails, but no one has returned my call. I noticed that I have a pillar that needed to add more concrete to the slab in the front of my home. Someone came to my house about three weeks ago told me that they would be back to fix certain items in the bathroom still have not heard back from them either.

This is our first home and we loved that we got the opportunity to build. Overall correspondence was ok, thankful for Donna’s help. We couldn’t give a 5 star due to some of the issues with our brand new home. The paint is already chipping on our window sills, could be the quality of paint. The quality of our kitchen cabinets are very cheap. This could be because of supplies during Covid. Our house paint job is poor, as we find a lot of cosmetic issues. Attention to basic detail is lacking There were expected construction delays in building the home and now that we are in the home, we are noticing multiple issues most small. There were statements made prior to closing, specifically to the SEER rating on the HVAC that were unsubstantiated. we were told the home was supposed to have a 16 SEER unit and were told they weren't available, i checked with the manufacturer to find this did not appear to be true. The buying experience was that good using there realtor to sell our home. The workmanship on the new does meet my expectations for a $400k home. Too many small issues paint, texture, imperfections etc. Masterbed closet too small no light in one of the closets make sure these thing looked at very close before you close refrigerator is offset dishwasher part fell off smh.

My wife and I was very excited doing the building process of our new home. However, once we moved in our new home we noticed “Several” things were missed and over looked by the contractors. The quality, workmanship and materials used for our new home is very questionable. We are working with the building manager to rectify the quality and workmanship of our new home.
