The buying experience was that good using there realtor to sell our home. The workmanship on the new does meet my expectations for a $400k home. Too many small issues paint, texture, imperfections etc. Masterbed closet too small no light in one of the closets make sure these thing looked at very close before you close refrigerator is offset dishwasher part fell off smh.

My closing date was charged several times. Finally moved in with a lot of issues needing to be resolved. House plan is beautiful but craftsmanship is poor; paint stains all over, crooked wall lines, chipped concrete floors, etc.

My wife and I was very excited doing the building process of our new home. However, once we moved in our new home we noticed “Several” things were missed and over looked by the contractors. The quality, workmanship and materials used for our new home is very questionable. We are working with the building manager to rectify the quality and workmanship of our new home.
Bloomfield Homes responded:
We appreciate your feedback, Antonyal, and are committed to providing a quality warranty experience. We also appreciate your patience throughout the build and after closing. Welcome to the Bloomfield family.

Home issues

Our overall experience has not been as expected, my previous two homes that I had built the process was much smoother. This process ended-up being very stressful and costly at the end. One of the many issues that my wife and I had was that it just took too long to build our house, one year and four months to be exact, that is a long time for a track home to get built. The frustration began, when we went to our in-home consulting meeting with Scott to pick out colors and other add-ons we would like to have in the home. Scott had no idea on how design and colors work, he primarily pointed at ...

If you wish to speak with someone from our corporate office about these issues, please contact Director of Sales, Paul Conedera, at (214) 493-8152. Again, we apologize but are also happy to know you're pleased with your beautiful home and your neighbors. We wish you and your wife many joy-filled years in your home. ...

Bloomfield Homes - I was very disappointed to see the house was not cleaned when

I was very disappointed to see the house was not cleaned when I moved in. There were a no of issues which took almost four months to resolve. The drawers in the kitchen and bathroom are of very poor quality. I was also mad when the builder did not take into consideration my request for small modifications even though I was willing to pay extra.
Bloomfield Homes responded:
Thank you for your input, we are taking some actions to improve.

Renee was amazing and great to work with. House was rushed to finish at the end and therefore a lot of things were missed and quality was nowhere to be found. Still having several minor issues which are creating bigger issues like windows leaking and causing damage to wood.

Bloomfield is the worst!!

Bloomfield has the worst workmanship I’ve ever had! I’ve bought homes from KB homes, Richmond Homes, And Seeno homes, by far Bloomfield is the worst! You can see all the drywall tape, patching on walls door trim damages and baseboards damages! This is a new home and I am the first owner, but this home looks like someone lived here before damaged a bunch of stuff and they hired Mexicans from Home Depot’s parking lot to fix it!

Our house took 13 months to complete, was only supposed to take 6. Communication from the sales and builder side is awful. We didn't have a closing date until 2 days before we actually closed. End product of home was great, and they stand by their warranty but they need new sales staff and much better communication.
Bloomfield Homes responded:

I bought the house because I knew I liked it from looking at photos online and reviewing the price. When I arrived at the community, the people working the sales office tossed us keys to a few houses and told me to take a look. A couple of those houses were 75-100k outside of my stated price range so they either weren't listening to me or they didn't care. I also had trouble getting basic answers to questions from them during the closing process. They were nice enough people, but I don't understand what they actually do there or why they are being paid.
Bloomfield Homes responded:

I do not wish the sales rep Fran on anyone. She looses all paperwork never remembers any. Basically had to send her screen shots to get my paperwork correct. As for Material home is great but the fence is horrible the first day in we had to start putting out money for it. We are 30 days in and over $600 that the builder would not fix. Its very bad. I have contacted warrity but no response.

My wife and I were very excited about the house but as we came by every week to check the construction progress, we started to get worried. Many issues the project manager was missing and we felt that if it wasn't because we were making them aware, they wouldn't even noticed. Don't trust the process! Check yourself weekly to make sure everything is to your plans. Cabinets are a joke specially if you order them white. My first home was built by a different builder at a simillar price point and the design, build quality, workmanship, response to issues, customer issues, etc. were far above that of Bloomfield. Prior to and since moving in I have had issue after issue and have been unimpressed to say the least by the home. Plumbing issue in the second bathroom in the wall. The new wall had to be cut out to repair. How was this not tested? Crack in the ceiling of the main hallway at closing, they repaired, and it came back worse in less than a month. Builder didn't even want to fix it. I was told the ...

Construction manager was let go during the build process and we were never told. We had to continually ask for a status. Once we closed we didn’t receive a welcome package. We had to ask how does warranty service does work. We were never told Ranger offered free automation. Every time we asked questions we were made to feel like we were a burden on them. Once we moved in we were unaware there was a small gas leak in the fireplace. All the network jacks we had requested were installed with phone jacks. Before closing there were a lot of promises kept to repair issues that were found, after closing I was advised to create a list of repair items. It has now been also 90 days after closing and I still have yet to have all lf the repairs issue acknowledged and or fixed. The project manager tends to deny every issue that I find and tried to state that any issue found would.not be fixed until the 1 year inspection after I read the warranty document that states that I should be getting issues fixed as soon as possible. It's a beautiful home and arquitecture and the customer service is great in the first part of the process all the way untill you sign and move in but in my case . Very disappointed because of damages not taken care of correctly and made worse by the companies that were sent and at the end I was told that they will not fix the problem flat out.

There were a lot of promises about quality and service and the more I live on my house the more I realized they cut corners or that things were done at the promised expectations. Awful service by the “partners” or prepaid services our builder choose. Really bad communication or notice. The only good service we received was by the construction manager that was extremely polite and detailed when we did the walk thru for the property. When we actually took over the property it was really dirty, nothing got repainted not fixed, mud stains in the floor, paint sprayed on the side of the brick wall, ...

Bloomfield Homes - We had a poor experience with this builder.

We had a poor experience with this builder. We had many concerns with the way the work crews were treating our property including drinking alcohol on the work premise. Our concerns were never truly addressed and we were given answers stating that our GC barely had enough time to view our house 1 time a week if that due to the number of houses he had to oversee. We were also told that our site was not as bad as the other houses down the road. I feel like Bloomfield didn't properly oversee the construction of our home and with that we still have issues that we are trying to have resolved ...

Still waiting for issues discovered during the walk through to be resolved. Moved in over 2 months ago. Concrete driveway has/had multiple cracks and chunks of concrete missing before we moved in. Paint was all over the very expensive hardwood floor and it took two months of haggling to get them repaired. Looked like my husband painted the house rather than professional painters.
