My only issues were minor build quality issues and construction manager follow up. I dont feel like after spending $400k+ on a home there would be splattered paint spots on the floor and being told to buy products to clean it up. The house wasn't up to a cleaning standard for a highway motel in my opinion. We had to spend a whole day cleaning after moving in. The home felt rushed in some ways and there are wood squeaking sounds in two rooms. I can feel my foot slighting pushing down the wood as I step over it. Then a representative is educating me that this is normal and it's only fixable after 60+days IF it gets worse. Your sales representatives are great but I'm grateful I have a home. Lots of issues with the home. Everywhere you start to look into you find deficiencies. Our kitchen cabinets are damaged and not complete. The garage door does not seal on the bottom left corner so we have lots of mice that come in the garage. All of the traps have a dead mouse every morning. The whole hole is just plastered with caulk. Our bathroom floors are not level and dip towards the wall. The baseboards look terrible with a gap of 1/8" between the floor and the baseboards. The cuts are not squared and it seems like a ton of scraps were used to build the interior of the home. It is almost impossible to get a hold of someone to come fix issues in a timely manner. We are still waiting on cabinet and drawers work even though we notified them about the problem the day of closing. I would not buy another casa fresca home ever. ... More

I'm very disappointed with my decision on buying the house with this builder. There were many things that I didn't pay attention in my walked throughs that I have noticed now that I've lived in the house for a month. The warranty department won't deal with those "cosmetic" issues. I would recommend to the people outhere to look for a house that it has been built as, those houses, that are still available for sale, the builder, they make sure that is properly done, versus the ones that they were sold before the house was built, they won't give the same attention as they were sold already versus the ones that needs to be sold. I was lied to when, I decided on getting the house, as they told me, the house was going to be completed in 2 months. It took over six months to be completed, then, with poor finishes. So, after you give your deposit, to reserve the house, you can't backed out. So, choose a house that is already being built, so, you can see how the house finishes were done right. ... More

Very disappointed with the quality of everything. Was expecting something better

The was the worst experience I have ever had. I brought this home and during this time I asked to see a Model because I lived in California. The associate sent me a video of a model home and lead me to believe that this would be my home. When I did the inspection, I asked to have the paint done correctly to my surprise it was not done correctly when I arrived. The wall coverings for the socks were slightly damaged. The master bathroom toilet wasn't functioning. The carpet wasn't the color that was shown to me. This company is still building homes like its 1980. I totally disappointed. I don't understand why the master shower isn't enclosed, the light fixtures over the vanity are very cheap and they gave me 50 dollar sinks for a house that is almost a half a million dollars. In order to sell this house, I will have to put at least 15 thousand dollars in it to modernize this home. It's like they are stuck in a time warp. I was hood winked and bamboozled. ... More

/Not one person I've spoken to, that has moved in actually moved on their date that was first told to them. Everything just seems shady all the time. I need something fixed it is not a construction issue it's a warranty issue. But warranty says it's construction. I was always told "everyone was working hard on getting our family into our house". Just not happy with the amount of mistakes from subs and Casa workers. I won't by my next house from Casa.

We purchased one of the first homes in the neighborhood, the construction process was poorly managed and our interest rate was about to expire forcing us to close without getting all of our issues resolved. There was no follow thru with any of the items identified during our walk thru and then the identified issues became “homeowners responsibility.” The sales staff was nice but the construction process was not well supervised and we are still fighting with getting the issues fixed. I love Waterset but I expected more buying a brand new home that claims to be affiliated with luxury builder Westbay homes. Bottom line get anything in writing and be prepared for delays that are not at all related to normal supply issues. ... More

Still waiting for things to be done after 1 month since my closing . Also didn't receive materials upon move in to go to the pool .. no return calls ..this has been a horrible experience for me as this is my first home . Wouldn't recommend anyone.

Overall the buying experience was a good one. The advice I would like to give to any potential buyer is to make sure you go through the home with a fine toothcomb before closing on your home. Please do not make the same mistake I did. I love my home, and the location but the craftsmanship and materials used throughout the house are not quality at all, certainly not quality materials for the amount you paid. Even though the warranty team tries to work with you, certain things are not covered under warranty. Lesson learned.

Corners were cut. Mediocre workmanship. Downgraded fixtures. Cheaply made cabinets. Horrible landscaping. Unresponsive to service requests after closing. Bad service and quality for the price point of these homes.

As you can see my overall experience was not a good one. I certainly wish I could say otherwise. Without your sales team, I would have not purchased a home here. Jason was absolutely wonderful throughout the initial stages of the process. When we were passed off to our construction manager "Chris", that is where things for sure took a turn for the worse. I wanted to be involved with taking photographs throughout the process, as this was our first new construction build, but then at some point that changed. We were suddenly told that was not allowed. We have been in our home for 2 months now and still have blue tape throughout the interior and exterior of the home. Writing this now, I get sick to my stomach with the way our builder conducted business and still feel as if there were many empty promises when getting things addressed. I was fearful at times to vocalize my feelings, as I knew if I did, we would ultimately be pushed to the side and treated unfairly. I spoke to many other residents and neighbors who were in agreement and feel the same as we did but at the end of the day once we closed and Casa Fresca got our money, we were very quickly forgotten. I will end this review here as there is nothing positive to say and frankly I feel as if this will simply be filed and fall on deaf ears. I would be willing to share my feelings and more specifics with someone of what I will call "Executive Level", but unless that was going to happen, I really have nothing more to say. ... More

I’M very disappointed for the workmanship and material , both out sides are very flooded and no body take responsibilities for fix the problem

Before we moved in, the tree in the front yard was laying on its side with the roots exposed to the air an 90 + degree heat for over a week and a half. I asked several times to have the tree replaced, but they say it is still alive. It is all brown at the top, but they are not going to replace it. So, I paid for a house with a defective tree. Not happy! What a way to save maybe a couple of hundred dollars, while I paid 460k.

Great price for the homes at pinnacle point. Houses are nice and modern and the location is perfect for commuters going to Tampa, Lakeland, Orlando etc. Also, the buying process was great starting with my agent, Cory and my lender Jim. It was smooth, and I closed on my new house exactly as my lender told me. Would definitely recommend

Sales lady was fine no complaints. Title co they work with completely archaic system no clue what they were doing a absolute nightmare. The house itself had 3-5 inches drooping in the bonus room. They literally went into the drywall and cut the trusses off the bottom to balance the look out and then re drywalled etc somehow they got their engineer to sign off on it. No clue how they managed this. Terrible experience. I would never recommend.

These builders have simply superb team. I have been living in this home past 3 months I appreciate each everyone for their work. The sales person was helpful even after closing to get the things right that were missing while closing. The work of Stephanie is awesome Coming to their construction, they use good materials as I can feel the quality. The construction manager Luis will be available to answer any questions. They are polite and welcoming I had issues with one of the appliances but the Warranty specialist Laurie made sure its fixed . Laurie strives for the customer experience and she ensures all the items in the home meets casa fresca standards Great experience all together. Loved the neighborhood and homes available when it first opened, however after finding home and signing contract, everything changed. It was like pulling teeth to get into home after framework finished, I was only allowed in home twice after; once to check finishes and once to verify work completed. Still waiting on work that wasn't finished 2 months after close and almost no response to requests, just excuses!!

I highly recommend these houses, builders, just get to know the area, before you consider.

Basic, cheap. Looks good but too many issues too soon

The construction manager did not make the process a smooth transition. We feel that things were over looked, things weren’t finished by closing and the construction manager could careless. Each issue we had to go above him in order to receive a resolution.

Garrett @ the Lakeland office, now transferred to Parrish was great! Super transparent, up front with all information. The project manager Jon was helpful with the walk through and explaining everything in the house. Overall I’d recommend Casa Fresca to friends and family. The only con, I wish the offered the vinyl throughout the entire downstairs.

The Casa Fresca experience has been fantastic! From the builder, Austin, to the Sales Consultant, Jason. Both have been incredibly insightful and helpful when needed. The home is beautifully constructed. The entire virtual buying process was seamless and made our move from California less challenging. Will be looking to buy another Casa Fresca home in the near future. Thanks Casa Fresca and staff for making my family feel welcome.
