Frustrating Homebuying Experience

I was hoping that frustrations during my closing period would improve, but it has gotten worse. Now that I am in the home, I am noticing cut corners and serious shortcuts taken with things like the electrical. The build team seems to not want to deal with me, passing me off to the Pulte service team, who I have called four times in the last two weeks without any followup from the local agent I need to speak to. Every time I pull back a layer of this home, I seem to find a new issue, which is a very bad feeling to have. Sorely disappointed and quickly developing a case of buyer's remorse.

bad closing experience

Forced closing prior to home being fully built. Builder unwilling to postpone closing buy two days so that I could have an inspection done on a home which was built, instead had to do inspection on home with no gas lines, holes in stucco, unfinished bathroom, etc.. Will never do business with Pulte or Centex again

Since the pre-closing walkthrough, I noticed a lot of items were really low quality and very poor workmanship. I addressed those items, specifically the carpet and carpets padding and the wood strip that keeps it affixed to the corners. Nails were sticking out around the edges, making it a hazard for residents walking barefooted in their own home. I brought up the concern very clearly but nothing was done about that. The toilets installed in this properties are a joke. The amount of water dispensed with each flush is DEFINITELY insufficient to flush normal levels of waste, let alone any ...

In the beginning I was very pleased with everything. But about 3 weeks living at our new house there suddenly was an issue where we noticed the baseboard in the master restroom seperating from the wall. We knew right away it was due to water. We called pulte right away & they had someone one come out and cut a piece of the wall open. They realized the pipe for the AC was literally broken.
