The experience was pain free and the home was everything I hoped for

I had bought this home oct 2022 I done my walk through and placed tape on reasonable areas that needed touch up but by that time My wife and I just had our second child and was in a rush to get back to my in-laws and I was trusting that all of it were to be taken care of .. well after we moved inALMOST every single tape I placed was removed and had not been corrected. some tape was left. kinda disappointed just need someone to come by and correct it. paying for a home in this market was expecting some quality work, my kitchen faucet was installed and used it about 10 times the first week became loose, couldn’t figure out why the Heater was kicking on, they left it off. drywall repair, landscape repair still needs to be done I’ve contacted twice now for landscape because no gutters are installed and water puddles doesn’t channel properly to the drain sites in the back yard, just clay mud and fear of moisture getting under the house, and when it rained hard water was splashing and stained the stucco with mud. I’ve found pieces of electric wire, in the back yard and front, I’ve found cabinets in the kitchen that have chunks missing and someone just colored it in. cabinets have caulk cement on some kick boards. The process to buy with Centex was easy. They were extremely helpful every step of the way. They answered questions quickly and made the buying process simple.

We only had contact with the construction supervisors, Josh and Dorian. Both re thorough, helpful, and responsive to concerns.

Josh had done a great job, always responding in a timely manner and getting the few things that was needed fixed in a timely manner, great superintendent.

AS GOOD AS IT GETS !

As a first time homebuyer, I had a great experience. Everything was explained thoroughly and I am very happy with the end result of my house. All my questions and concerns were answered and solved. Overall, great experience.

Find a more reputable builder. Buyer beware. Do your homework

Good overall home buying experience

Overall very good experience. Only issue is certain requests have not been addressed timely post-close. Floor plan is great. Recommended.

The entire Centex staff and team was amazing. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

The experience was horrible. You are trapped using their contractors and companies for everything. Zero freedom to choose anything different. The divisions were unable to answer questions, pointed fingers at each other for issues and things that went wrong.

The day we stepped into a centex home being built was the day we decided we wanted one. Couple things I love about my home would be the 2.5 car garage,I can park my lifted truck and still have plenty of room for another vehicle and projects. I also love the backyard. My two dogs have tons of room to run out their zoomies!

We had quite a few issues, some that still have not been corrected and now more issues have come up, such as our drip system is not working correctly and I had to shut off the main water supply because even in the off position the system was still running. There are areas that need paint touched up and we were told we would be receiving a touch up paint kit to do this ourselves. There is a dent in one of our garage panels that has yet to be addressed and the pop outs on the exterior of the home are missing. Apparently this was missed during the building process.

The house was ready on the date promised and we were able to tour the house virtually and purchase it from across the country. So far the house seems well built and we like the large walk in closet and pantry.
