Centex Homes Reviews in Fort Myers, FL

My overall experience was good. The only issue was getting the tittle in my name at the county property adjusters office was not so smooth. I contacted the Centex employees to let them know that the name change had not been recorded. Other than that I have an electrical issue in the house and we see how they handle it. Thanks!

Communication wasn’t great with anybody from sales to trades

I’d say 3/5 stars. Home quality wasn’t as expected

We had a decently easy buying process, not many delays and open communication, but the second closing papers were signed and money was in their hand we have had horrible customer service. I was promised two missing components to my home within two weeks of moving, and after several emails and unanswered calls we still don’t have them nearly two months later (except for a “hey there, did you get what you need?” Email that i answered and got no response) They are very nice before they get their money, but then it’s onto the next buyer with no follow up or care for those who just moved into their homes. Their contractors also openly litter and walk through our yard and mulch bed and step on our bushes (seen on ring doorbell) with no care as if we are not a closed property. If knew then what I know about Centex Homes I never would have bought one. Overpriced and not alot of value. I had problems including range fuse and also automatic door in the bathroom shutting on its own. Also the floor in the garage had paint spots that had to be cleaned up.

I seriously feel what was promised was not delivered. Your moto is quality and ease. There is nothing quality about the materials used to build these homes in fact i think your excuse well used was the pandemic and materials well welcome to the new way of life and replacing materials with cheaper products is what we paid for. Your painters should be fired. who on earth offers a finished homes with bumps and lumps and bad patching of mistakes on the walls. Counter tops who on earth hires a company who can not fit the tops correctly or properly and I can go on. You have at least 89% of home owners in here who feel cheated and they are going to voice their opinions to advise new home buyers to look the other way as we will too. No shows on warranty work several times. No one cares. They blame it on being a busy time.
