Buying experience seemed ro never end. Always some paper needed by seller. And closing was ok nothing to stick out. Papers upon papers to fill out. After which, 2 hurricanes later a brief wind storm blew off soffit and called to get it fixed. I had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. I can't get on a ladder due to disability. I thought it was covered for a year.

Centex was able to make it happen for us. Robert, our sales rep, and Shawn, our construction manager, were great and helpful through the process. Pulte mortgage done a great job dealing with the closing process seamless. We love the home, and we referred one of our friends to the community. Thank you for making it happen for us!

Had no problems with the build. House was finished on agreed date with no delays. Builder kept me informed of the build process with emails and pictures. From start to finish the build and purchase of the Centex home went very smoothly. Had absolutely no complaints.

My husband Robert, my Dad and I greatly enjoyed the detailed and informative tour given by Centex Homes sales rep, Robert, of the model home as well as the home we picked. We were given a timeline and who were going to contact us as we progressed through the process. The Centex/Pulte Team did an amazing job of keeping us up to date and answering our questions thoroughly. The entire transaction was smooth, efficient, and very transparent. We definitely recommend Centex Homes.

Really good experience and Quality construction. Beautyful house, nice layout. I felt in love with this house, on my first walk. The house have everything I wanted. Convenient location- easy access to freeways, really good neighbors!

All in all my experience was great but Howard was outstanding. He really made the hand over process great and explained everything very clearly. Even after hand over he maintains great communication and always available to help.

Everything went smoothly and the Sales associate Daniel was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in all aspects!!

I had a great experience with Centex. A little rough patch in the beginning, but after that things just flow. All the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. It was a real smooth process

I visited Centex homes several times. I loved the three car garage and the fact that the 4th bedroom had its own bathroom. I just couldn’t get excited over the exterior of the home. To me it was so cookie cutter looking, so blaa. Anyway, after looking at about 80 plus homes for sale we realized we were getting the most bang for our buck and bought the Bayshore model. The house is very spacious inside and now that it’s furnished and decorated it looks absolutely gorgeous. Because they didn’t have a model for this home it was very hard to visualize the possibilities. Our dislikes….we hate that they put St. Augustine grass in the front yard and put Bahia grass in the backyard. That’s just being cheap. Even worse, one water spigot for this whole piece of property. Ridiculous! We hate that there isn’t a separate light switch for the ceiling fan and lights. There should have been prewiring for the corner eves of the house out back, as well. It’s too dark out there at night, especially for our pets to do their business. I love my shower in the master bedroom. It’s definitely made for taller people to enjoy. I love the large laundry room. My kitchen is so pretty. I even like that the ceilings are one height. No need to air condition 20 plus feet in the air. In addition, it made crown molding easier to install. If I could add anything I’d like to have sliding doors going out of the master bedroom to the backyard and it would have been great to have had an option to make this home a 3/3/3. Eliminating the wall between the bedrooms in the hallway therefore my roommate could have a larger bedroom, as well. Enjoying my palace otherwise. I’d post pictures if I were able to. Upon first walking through the homes we purchased, we liked the colors and the fact that it was mostly tile flooring. We also liked the distance between houses. It seemed like pretty much everything we wanted. However, upon moving in and really getting to see the walls and doors and windows, we began quickly noticing a LOT of issues all with quality of workmanship. This house was thrown together so fast by people who really didn't know what the heck they were doing. All of the switch plates and doorstops were put in place before they textured and painted the walls so they are all a mess! We have to go out and buy all new to replace them. Also, the dishwasher was thrown in and not even leveled out so it is crooked and pulling the metal bar out of place at the top. one foot is completely on the floor and the other foot is as tall as it can get. UNREAL! There are large globs of caulk and plaster all over the window sills and molding along the floors and windows, even the door entryway and they painted right over it so it looks messy and cheap. When you see the entire home the few times we did before moving in, we didn't see the details because it's just so overwhelming. but as it settles with you and you begin to get familiar with it, things start to jump out at you. Our bathroom mirror was scratched really bad so after we moved in and noticed it, they brought a new one out a few weeks later to replace it and it was dirty when it was installed and they left it dirty. I cleaned it and as I did, I noticed it was also damaged from behind so I had several large black spots. I let them know. A few weeks later they showed up with a new mirror and this time they cleaned it outside and found more scratches so they didn't install it. I am still waiting for a new replacement mirror. The irrigation system is not place well enough to fully cover our yard so we have large brown dead areas. We also have many of the heads in so crooked, they don't cover effectively so we will have to dig them up and straighten them out. We also need to add a few more heads to cover the dead grass and hopefully bring it back to life. The door to the garage isn't installed correctly so the door doesn't want to close properly. You have to slam it ad then the entire wall shakes and moves like it isn't correctly tied in with the rest of the house. Overall, we are highly disappointed in the quality of the build as well as the responsiveness to our needs after move in. It really is a problem when they tell us at the time they will fix it or add to it and then later tell you why they won't or couldn't. We have built many homes before and this one is just a huge disappointment all around. It's going to take us a lot of our own work and money to correct the sloppiness and poor craftmanship of this house. ... More

I had never heard of Centex until a colleague shared them with me and they build beautiful homes with floor plans that make sense. Their floor plans are functional, open and well thought out. I would certainly build with them again.

This is a second home for us!! It was built during Covid which slowed the process down!! It cost a lot more money than we were anticipating!! Interest rates took a big jump during the process!!

What I would say is to check EACH appliance to make sure it works. We purchased a washer and dryer, the dryer had the WRONG part hooked up so we had call them back out. The new oven didn't work over Thanksgiving, had to call for service and the ovens heating element WAS NOT plugged in. Had to use a roaster for our dinner for the holiday. But we will give 4 stars overall

front door seal not 100 % airtight, so many scratches at the walls and little dings on the tiles. toilet bowl to close to side wall for elderly hard to stand up. outside area have drainage issues

We have been concerned with all the repairs that have been necessary in a new constructed home. Our experience with the construction managers has been outstanding. Don’t think we would purchase another Centex home.

Our experience with Centex has been nothing short of excellent. From the initial sale until closing, the process has been smooth and without surprises. Finley (site mgr) kept us up to date with progress photos along with emails through each stage of ther build. Although there were issues with the home after possession, Gustavos ensured it was resolved quickly. As for the price of homes, Centex provided good value for what they charge. I would not hesitate to purchase again from this builder.

I like my home very much. Certainly, God knows which one I desire and deserve. But I think the paint is not a god quality. And then I already reported some mistakes to the manager. After that until today we're following how everything is working. Thank you!
