Beautiful neighborhood

It was a good experience overall but i could be better !

During the construction process everything was magnificent, Matt our Field Manager did an oustanding job. As soon as we moved into the house we began to notice a series of flaws and poor workmanship including the quality of the materials. The entire house is totally uneven, our lanai floods with water from only one side whenever it rains. The ceiling of my dining room and the wall of my living room have the drywall encapsulated with water as well. The entrance door does not work properly and the alarm lock does not work correctly, Guardian technicians could not program the code because they say it has to be changed for another. All these claims were made through the warranty portal and no one has yet contacted me to offer help or assistance for the necessary repairs. When I called the contact they initially gave me for complaints, he informed me that he had been promoted to another position but that I would have to fill out the request on the website and they would contact me but I still have no answers. ... Buying experience seemed ro never end. Always some paper needed by seller. And closing was ok nothing to stick out. Papers upon papers to fill out. After which, 2 hurricanes later a brief wind storm blew off soffit and called to get it fixed. I had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. I can't get on a ladder due to disability. I thought it was covered for a year.

This is a second home for us!! It was built during Covid which slowed the process down!! It cost a lot more money than we were anticipating!! Interest rates took a big jump during the process!!

House is pretty great, no problems so far.

Overall Pulte provides a very smooth home buying experience. Their sales and mortgage team are outstanding. I definitely feel like there are some thing on the construction and finishes that could be improved on, but I’m happy with my purchase. My wife and I love our new home and look forward to the many memories we’ll make.

Very easy buying process, the field manager was fantastic and answered any questions/ concerns in a timely manner!

What I would say is to check EACH appliance to make sure it works. We purchased a washer and dryer, the dryer had the WRONG part hooked up so we had call them back out. The new oven didn't work over Thanksgiving, had to call for service and the ovens heating element WAS NOT plugged in. Had to use a roaster for our dinner for the holiday. But we will give 4 stars overall

Experience was pretty streamlined and “painless”. Would recommend and biggest bang for your buck!

Make sure to ask lots of questions during the process & verify the answers they give you are correct. Inspect every aspect of the building process.

All the process was good and the house still good looking compare with the blueprint.

Our building manager Ed Romero was absolutely amazing. He always made us feel like top priority even though he also managed other houses. Warranty team is a different story.

House was not ready when we moved in due to a building supervisor issue and have a horrible time getting responses to issues ( door not licking properly, closet doors not attached, fire alarms going off, no water pressure)

Construction was adequate paint jobs can be improved.

front door seal not 100 % airtight, so many scratches at the walls and little dings on the tiles. toilet bowl to close to side wall for elderly hard to stand up. outside area have drainage issues

The first time we where checking the house right off the gate they promised things and we had to fight to get the things that were promised, There's horrible communication with the company and us. We were supposed to move into the home back in June and ended up moving in almost 2 months after. Overall the communication is horrible and the worst I've seen trying to buy a home. There's still a bunch of issues with the house that again we were promised to be fixed and yet nothing has been done. The grass outside has so many faults its hard to even count. First of all the grass isn't placed correctly. There's plenty of patches where the ground isn't covered and its not leveled. There's still left over construction marks on the street in front of us that was never cleaned up properly. There was plenty of weeks with zero communication between the homeowners association and us. Before and during closed I felt rushed and even threaten at one point. I have to say that I honestly would not recommend this company to anyone out there. ... More

I decided to purchase my home with Centex based on their solid reputation. From the beginning, they assure you of the high quality materials and workmanship. Throughout the construction process, I encountered numerous issues with the build of the home. Prior to closing, I went through the entire home and requested for several things to be fixed. Now almost two months after having closed on the home, I am still finding a lot of errors in the construction of the home. I have found unfinished caulking, damage to walls, and errors with lighting fixtures/installation. Late in the construction process, it was confirmed that Centex doesn’t hire the best to build the best. They simply contract out the lowest bidder and their construction supervisors ensure that it’s built as good as possible. Prior to closing, I even had to hire a third party inspector who found even more problems and then we had to have City/County inspectors come back out to the home. Bottom line, I will not be buying another Centex/Pulte home I’m the future and have not been recommending this company further. ... More

Upon first walking through the homes we purchased, we liked the colors and the fact that it was mostly tile flooring. We also liked the distance between houses. It seemed like pretty much everything we wanted. However, upon moving in and really getting to see the walls and doors and windows, we began quickly noticing a LOT of issues all with quality of workmanship. This house was thrown together so fast by people who really didn't know what the heck they were doing. All of the switch plates and doorstops were put in place before they textured and painted the walls so they are all a mess! We have to go out and buy all new to replace them. Also, the dishwasher was thrown in and not even leveled out so it is crooked and pulling the metal bar out of place at the top. one foot is completely on the floor and the other foot is as tall as it can get. UNREAL! There are large globs of caulk and plaster all over the window sills and molding along the floors and windows, even the door entryway and they painted right over it so it looks messy and cheap. When you see the entire home the few times we did before moving in, we didn't see the details because it's just so overwhelming. but as it settles with you and you begin to get familiar with it, things start to jump out at you. Our bathroom mirror was scratched really bad so after we moved in and noticed it, they brought a new one out a few weeks later to replace it and it was dirty when it was installed and they left it dirty. I cleaned it and as I did, I noticed it was also damaged from behind so I had several large black spots. I let them know. A few weeks later they showed up with a new mirror and this time they cleaned it outside and found more scratches so they didn't install it. I am still waiting for a new replacement mirror. The irrigation system is not place well enough to fully cover our yard so we have large brown dead areas. We also have many of the heads in so crooked, they don't cover effectively so we will have to dig them up and straighten them out. We also need to add a few more heads to cover the dead grass and hopefully bring it back to life. The door to the garage isn't installed correctly so the door doesn't want to close properly. You have to slam it ad then the entire wall shakes and moves like it isn't correctly tied in with the rest of the house. Overall, we are highly disappointed in the quality of the build as well as the responsiveness to our needs after move in. It really is a problem when they tell us at the time they will fix it or add to it and then later tell you why they won't or couldn't. We have built many homes before and this one is just a huge disappointment all around. It's going to take us a lot of our own work and money to correct the sloppiness and poor craftmanship of this house. ... More

Very bad condition of grass

They use the most cheap materials. For the price I pay for the house he’ll no. I feel like a live in a cartoon house. I’m sorry but is how I feel.

We have been concerned with all the repairs that have been necessary in a new constructed home. Our experience with the construction managers has been outstanding. Don’t think we would purchase another Centex home.
