My experience with Centex has been great. I will say the best part of my experience was my wonderful field manager Jason. He went above and beyond to make sure my home was what I wanted it to be and made my closing experience very smooth. The value of the home for what I got was also great. I wish there were more upgrade options in this community but overall I got everything I wanted! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and to Jason (field manager) because he made my experience one I’ll never forget!

Make sure to ask lots of questions during the process & verify the answers they give you are correct. Inspect every aspect of the building process.

The quality of our home is outstanding! The attention to the details throughout the purchase, build, and closing processes were well thought out and easy to navigate. Every person from Centex was friendly, professional, and helped make the experience enjoyable and not stressful. They answered any questions we had but provided so many details along they way that we didn't have to wonder about any part of the process. The online system to apply and track the loan process was user friendly and made providing documents super easy. I highly recommend Centex Homes!!

We had a Great experience with centex.

From beginning to end it was clear communication. We were worried since the effects of the Pandemic started 2 months after we began process and construction. But Pulte/Centex kept working and in touch, week by week and providing updates on the build of our home. There was a lot of document request, which is part of, but when it came to the day of signing, it went smooth. Very grateful about everyone that works and worked with and for us. Enjoying every day and moment of our home and looking forward to the many memories that will happen in it.

So far everything with buying and getting into my new home been excellent.

The first time we where checking the house right off the gate they promised things and we had to fight to get the things that were promised, There's horrible communication with the company and us. We were supposed to move into the home back in June and ended up moving in almost 2 months after. Overall the communication is horrible and the worst I've seen trying to buy a home. There's still a bunch of issues with the house that again we were promised to be fixed and yet nothing has been done. The grass outside has so many faults its hard to even count. First of all the grass isn't placed correctly. There's plenty of patches where the ground isn't covered and its not leveled. There's still left over construction marks on the street in front of us that was never cleaned up properly. There was plenty of weeks with zero communication between the homeowners association and us. Before and during closed I felt rushed and even threaten at one point. I decided to purchase my home with Centex based on their solid reputation. From the beginning, they assure you of the high quality materials and workmanship. Throughout the construction process, I encountered numerous issues with the build of the home. Prior to closing, I went through the entire home and requested for several things to be fixed. Now almost two months after having closed on the home, I am still finding a lot of errors in the construction of the home. I have found unfinished caulking, damage to walls, and errors with lighting fixtures/installation. Late in the construction process, it was confirmed that Centex doesn’t hire the best to build the best. They simply contract out the lowest bidder and their construction supervisors ensure that it’s built as good as possible. Prior to closing, I even had to hire a third party inspector who found even more problems and then we had to have City/County inspectors come back out to the home. Bottom line, I will not be buying another Centex/Pulte home I’m the future and have not been recommending this company further. ... More
