Overall great experience through the home purchasing process.

From contract to finish we were updated weekly and closed on time.

Very happy with my purchase overall. There are a few minor issues but overall I'm very pleased. From the sale with builder to working with Pulte Mortgage, everything was very smooth and on time. Any concerns were promptly addressed. I question everything and every detail was explained with clarity and patience. Britney, my sales agent, was fantastic. She listened and was more than patient with managing my anxiety over such a large decision. She surprised me along the way by coming to my walk through and leaving a personal gift on closing day. So far, my warranty rep has also been great and even stopped by to checkin after I moved in. The minor issues were very small things like a couple of bushes should have been replaced, shower curtain bar was not fully installed, and one of the shower faucets is installed backwards meaning hot is cold and cold is hot. Overall a good buying experience, Pulte needs to be more willing to make changes, buyer paid upgrades as requested by a buyer when it comes to their spec quick delivery homes. We also had no success at requesting an actual walkthru after doing a virtual one. We asked no less than 3 times but those responsible for doing that never made the time for us.

Buying our new home with Centex was the best move we have ever made. Everyone involved was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They quickly responded to us with any questions that we had through the entire process and kept us informed as things progressed through the buying process. We would highly recommend buying a Centex home.

Misrepresented information, was provided about a fitness center. Which is a strong criterial for me, purchasing a home. The landscaping grading is bumpy and rocky. I love my home, however, it would have helpful if I were provided with basic details, about cable, and wiring, in the unit. Also, no folder, paperwork, disc or hardcopy of the homeowners association regulation. And, most importantly, there is a serious ANT problem. There are more than 5 ant hills on the property, and it was documented and it was supposed to be taken care of, and to this day, nothing has change. I still have a ant problem. Zach was great, in (sales). The original female person, not so much. One question: I think the HVAC, was installed improperly, and the workmanship, doesn't look like the one I had in my home, prior to move into a Centex home. I have a open vent stemming from the ceiling that has an open end, and there are cracks in the ceiling. Documented, someone came by, weeks ago, nothing done to this day. ... More

I felt my sales person Kim was non attentive. Did not contact me during or after the purchase. I had to get the keys to my mailbox. Never did a walk thru of the home other then the first visit .

I felt that Centex was highly concerned with making sure we were happy with our home and the buying experience. Many touchpoints of contact with us during the entire process. Even the final walk through was done with an emphasis on our happiness and acceptance of the house.

Very frustrating to work with the people running this operation. Communication is very poor and follow through is like pulling teeth. They wait until the last minute to make repairs and you have to continually remind them to get it done. The workers are sloppy and create more problems when fixing one thing. They are a cookie cutter operation and only care about moving on to the next house. If it’s not done by closing, good luck with warranty. Everything is done by email and there’s no care about customer service.

I’m confident my home was well built. All phases of construction were completed as described. They met my expectations and closing timeframe. James and Rueben were fantastic to work with.

We were really excited to get into our new home as it was really beautiful and had the space and many upgrades we were looking for. However, upon move-in about a month ago, we began to notice and experience many issues and we have now started to worry about the quality of the build and the customer service when there are issues. We noted two major concerns during our final walk through, and only one issue has been fixed to date. We haven't heard anything or a timeline on when the other issue will addressed. Additionally, after closing we came in to find drywall paint and dark stain in several spots on our brand new carpet from some of the issues we had asked to be repaired prior to closing - no update on this and what, if anything, will be done. Carpet and padding already worn down on the stairs because carpet was installed too early. Also, I ran my dishwasher one time after moving in - it was fine. Second time I went to start it, I received an error code and it never worked again. Per the Whirlpool warranty with Pulte, I contacted the service folks and it took 2 weeks before a service person was available to come out. When they did, he said the dishwasher has a bad panel and the panel needs completely replaced. Still waiting for parts to arrive so they can fix (and hopefully it does actually fix it). I asked for a new one, as it is clearly a lemon - no response. It has been almost a month now that I have not had a dishwasher in a brand new house with a family of four. Additionally, our irrigation system has not run since we moved in and no one has responded to our concern about this. Our sod is brown, and there are tons of tall weeds growing in the grass. Additionally, the grout is already cracked in the upstairs bathroom, the doorbell does not ring properly, we are missing screens on some of the windows that should have them - just to name a few issues. Though we did get a lot of house for a reasonable price, I am glad we didn't pay more because the quality is just not there and neither is the service. Also, don't rely on information provided to you about the home on paper alone. We did a quick sale and during the process we were told our home had a 4 foot garage extension, we signed paperwork with our offer that showed it was included and then we discovered it did not actually have this option, which was one of the reasons we had made an offer on the home. If you are thinking about buying, I would encourage you to visit in person and ask lots of questions and verify things (especially sizing of rooms, garages, etc) yourself. If all of the issues were addressed and in a timely fashion, I may feel differently - but as a brand new home buyer, it's apparent that the company puts up so many homes, and right on top of one another, and their focus is quantity/making money. I haven't experienced that they care about quality and good workmanship. I don't think they care if their buyers are happy after move-in.... they are on to the next home and sale. It was very easy and promising purchase. After my walk-through the house prior to closing. lots of things was supposed to be fixed. I was promised to have All done by the day of my closing. I was pushed to close on my house before visually I experience that really everything is done on my house. I paid for my house I close on it, but I was very disappointed once I found out that All project not done as promised to me. It’s been over a month when I close on the house no one fixed anything or contact me to do anything on my house all the cabinet doors needs to be replaced they all have gaps and seems that’s the major thing and the kitchen, which is very important for me because that’s the heart of the house. Another thing is that French door is off the hinge. Outside elevation needs to be fixed. No one respond to that either. I’m very disappointed with the quality of the house . My house is located at across the street From warranty department people. Which is very close and very convenient for them to approach all the items that need to be fixed. Stressful experience to build a new house.

We are happy with our new home. From the beginning, the process was smooth. Neal in sales was extremely professional, explained how the process would go and was available when we had questions. Post sales support has been great also. On the builder side, Zach gave us regular updates and delivered a clean home and took care of the details that came up during the walkthrough. Very responsive and professional as well. Sean and the warranty department have been great also, title and Ashley on the mortgage side went above and beyond at each step. It's been a great experience with Centex/Pulte.

We love the house. The construction manager was great as was the sales and title people. There are a couple minor things that I see now that I didn't see in the pre-closing inspection. Nothing that i can't fix easily. i had to call the warranty manager a couple times and she was quick to get us help from the vendors of the products.

Throughout the process our Builder kept us informed of progress, and and all of our questions and concerns. I would recommend Centex/Pulte to friends and family.

Warrant department isn’t very responsive. Otherwise, overall, we’ve been super happy with the process, the build, and the home!

Project Superintendent was great to work with. Friendly, courteous, and very professional. Quickly corrected problems and spoke frequently on building progress.

Great experience so far. Everyone we’ve been in contact with has been great.

Our Sales Rep Ryan was a 10, our finish Construction Mgr. Ray was great to work with too. Home completed ahead of schedule, which in this day and age is unheard of. They put together a complete move in package and home was clean and ready for move when delivered to us. Overall, I would use them again. So far very happy customer.
