This was absolutely the worst home buying experience. Something that was supposed to be a fun experience is a living nightmare. During multiple inspections and walks many issues were pointed out to our Field manager and he either just didn’t give a crap or didn’t know what he was doing. During the last month of our build we reached out to his boss who was very concerned on our build. 1 month post closing and I’m living with blue tape all over my walls, can’t hang a single single, going on my 4th floor install, 4th master shower tile install, unpainted doors, unpainted trim. At this point I’m giving all one stars due to the experience after buying the home. I’ve been in my home for 2 months and there is no communication or any effort to get things fixed that were on the inspection list! Unbelievable headache for the amount of money paid for home.

The Community is beautiful and the process went smooth.

Excellent communication at all Level

The attention to detail throughout the house was disappointing. The door frames, baseboards & trim, backsplash, electrical outlets, drywall around windows are not quality work and appliances were damaged when installed by builder. The trim around interior doors is separating, there are dings and painted over damaged areas in the baseboard trim throughout the house, electrical outlets are not flush with the walls in many areas, drywall and paint around window frames is damaged. Expected a lot more attention to detail.

Very easy process from start to finish

My wife and I had to micromanage much of our home build. There were numerous mistakes that had to be corrected, throughout the process and at the last minute as well. Our closing date was pushed twice. There were issues still getting corrected after closing. Not a quality build.

Had a great experience with the purchase process and working with the warranty department for minor repairs.

Home was not ready to be moved in by closing date, yet they still had us close on home and have tons of stuff to fix while we live in it, and they are dragging out fixing everything

Building process went smooth, without delays. House looks good, quality of building is descent, small issues exist, but they will be easily fixed by builder. Building team provide information during the building process, was easy to access and communicate. I will definitely recommend the potential buyers to become clients of that builder.

Our experience with Centex builders was great right from the beginning. Their sales representative Michelle at the model home in North River Ranch Brightwood was very helpful and professional. She listened to our needs, wants, and budget and showed us homes that fit all of our parameters. Knowing that we were in town for just a short time, she also helped us in the design studio choose our colors and design package. Expectations for the construction timeline were given to us right from the beginning and thankfully the timeline was met within a month of the time promised. We have been very happy with the quality of the build and with the timeliness of corrections that we requested. It was very helpful to have Jared, our site manager as a contact with any questions or concerns that we had during the building process. Make sure you getting a private home inspector. Triple check everything. Electrical outlets, door fitment, non level window sils and valances, paint, trim work ondition. Too much to mention. Rather disappointed for price we paid.

Well the sales rep Jermey was great but now I still don’t have hurricane fabric that should have been in the house before I moved in back in mid October. My construction manager Jake keeps saying he’ll get with the contractor but still no fabric. Thankfully it’s past hurricane season.

Timing was good and everyone is friendly

I would rather not share anything. My experience was terrible. Along with many other buyers as they have expressed the same experience to me.

We’re very happy with our Centex home! Every home build comes with setbacks and frustrations, especially during a pandemic. But we are happy with the quality of work, professionalism of staff, and overall finish of our home.

If you have the fortune of having Mason doing your walk throughs, you are in good hands

Please install gutters on future builds or give an allowance.
