The process of getting the loan and the house was smooth, but some areas like painting, sealing electrical pipe connections, sealing under door and joining in corners and getting those little things was not given enough attention.

I love my first new home very nice community few people that I met are nice and friendly I think I’m going to love this place

The outside of the home is beautiful. The builder was kind and kept me informed of the process. But as I’ve settled into my home I’ve noticed a lot of discrepancies in the home. My tub has a crack, the tile going to my tub isn’t aligned properly. I have cracks in a lot of places. It’s not an even polished look. This is my second home so I do have a foundation for my expectations. Covid and the market selection definitely is a factor that you can’t be as picky when selecting a home. This is not my forever home so it will do.

This is my first home and I was very much excited. We like the location and space inside. But the quality of the materials and construction quality could be far better for the price paid. Wood used is delicate at many places and very easy to peel or take off easily. Railing on the stairs, back door, front door, the fittings are all not as per expectation. Had many broken things but the team response time is good.

Overall pleasant experience. Very attentive before closing, definitely delayed responses after closing. No major issues. Do recommend with any home purchase that buyer gets a personal inspection. Again, no major issues were discovered, but builder was likely a bit more conscientious.

The construction manager was absolutely outstanding and great to work with.

The interior paint workmanship is very poor, basically half of the area is unevenly painted, and the rest are well done

The process was fairly smooth.

It was a smooth transaction taking in consideration we were buyers from outstate. They helped us with every questions and regards.

We love our home. It is beautiful and the craftsmanship is good.

I have experienced good response from team. I think the company can improve the finishing details for walls and flooring.

The builder Stephen was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Communication with the builder was perfect and easy. We love our house. The only inconvenience was the hardwood floors that need to be repair and some problems with the water heater. Overall Stephen was a great help! So far the best builder I’ve ever known.

Issues submitted are not addressed timely Example: Emergency call on Saturday November 18, 2023 Major water leak damage to kitchen floor, flex room carpet and molding. Plumber came out Sunday morning, 11/19/23 and says water leak is from dish washer; still waiting for anyone to come out to address.

So, I purchased a home with Centex. The Centex Sales Staff and Builders were excellent. Unfortunately, the Pulte Lending staff were not very knowledgeable and dragged their feet for 30 days, literally asking for documents that I would have to obtain from a California court at the 11th hour, in which would cause me to miss my closing date. Also, I suggested a 45 day escrow but Pulte lending insisted on 30 days. After observing Pulte lending mishaps, too many to name in this revuew, I finally decided that the $10k towards closing on my Centex home purchase was not worth it and went with another lender who got me approved in 2 weeks, only missing my closing date by 2 weeks. ... Builders Pete and Clint were absolutely amazing would want them to build my next home God willing. They are very professional and explained all I needed to do for my home for the upcoming months and in the future to get the best longevity of the home

My experience was stressful. My sales person was great until I finally decided to buy. Afterwards, he never responded timely or sometimes not at all. I decided to use their mortgage company and even though I had over an 800 credit score, been on my job over two tears and paid off all my debt I was told I may not qualify and I should not have paid off my debts. That made no since to me. My builder was great and responsive. The quality of paint and carpet is low. Feels like I'm walking on the bare floor no padding. Flat paint that is easily flawed. During the walk through had to have several walls sanded and repainted. The carpet was not tacked down in several places. You have to email for service calls because no one answers the phone. However, they do respond timely to your emails. I love the layout of my home and hope to enjoy it for years to come. If I had known there was going to be 400 plus homes in this Subdivision, I probably would not have bought here and the houses are a little close together. ... More

Some of the workmanship and materials used were done poorly. Overall, not bad, but for the price, could have been completed neater and better materials used such as bathroom and kitchen fixtures. Takes a long long time for work to be addressed and/or done to fix work poorly done. Disappointed with that.

We love the floor plan if our home.

They rush to finish the homes. had to push out my closing date. And the inside of the home still had things to get fixed even after my closing. Sloppy work on some areas of the house. Centex is an ok builder. Homes should be supervised better and more careful before giving a firm closing date.

The internal design and use of space is excellent.

I had high hopes for my new home purchase but have identified several areas where Centex cut corners. The paint feels like chalk and there are areas in the construction where they attempted to 'fill in' chipped drywall with plaster and it is very noticeable. Not to mention the fact that the floor on the 2nd level squeaks in multiple rooms. I submitted a service request 1 week ago mentioning these issues (and others) and still no response from the builder. Bummer

I hate to use the word nightmare because I’ve certainly experienced worse. But you definitely don’t get what you pay for. Here I am a month I’m still waiting for someone to come fix the windows that won’t close, paint our outside veranda, install missing lights, and bring missing pieces to our blinds. Upgrades you pay for you have to remind them you paid for or you don’t get them: examples is crown molding, tray ceilings etch What we had to get fixed during the process was crazy: missing screens, attic unit missing pipe covers, shotty painting, wrong tile in kitchen, missing light over shower, chipped and cracked marble/granite, etc. And we put down over 40% cash on this house and got a house I could only compare to a sad reflection on workmanship of what they show you in the model. They take some sweet time building for 6 months and then it’s a mad dash the last 2 weeks to get it ready to move in. I will never build with centex or Pulte again. I’ll stick with Taylor Morrison who for a townhome we had for $100 less what was better quality. ... More
