The interior paint workmanship is very poor, basically half of the area is unevenly painted, and the rest are well done

I wanted a new construction home to be the first person to walk in and enjoy the home. Instead I’ve been here for a month and it looks like 5 years. The paint is terrible. They used flat paint and every time you touch it it becomes marked in some way. I tried to wipe it off and the paint came off. The plumbing fixture weren’t attached to the wall and the air vents not flushed. A hole in the wall that wasn’t there during the prewalk and still hadn’t been repaired. I understand that COVID slowed things down but this is just poor quality and overall sloppy build. I’m disappointed.

Beautiful and quality building

The process was fairly smooth.

The outside of the home is beautiful. The builder was kind and kept me informed of the process. But as I’ve settled into my home I’ve noticed a lot of discrepancies in the home. My tub has a crack, the tile going to my tub isn’t aligned properly. I have cracks in a lot of places. It’s not an even polished look. This is my second home so I do have a foundation for my expectations. Covid and the market selection definitely is a factor that you can’t be as picky when selecting a home. This is not my forever home so it will do.

We love the floor plan if our home.

They rush to finish the homes. had to push out my closing date. And the inside of the home still had things to get fixed even after my closing. Sloppy work on some areas of the house. Centex is an ok builder. Homes should be supervised better and more careful before giving a firm closing date.

Everything was gr8, just wish they'd told me that if I want outside Garage lights, I have to pat for the pre-wire like they told me about ceiling fans, I had to have someone come after moving in to get outside garage lights bcuz I did not know they were not standard, every home comes standard with garage lights except this community. Pete the Builder was gr8, he was very thorough with going over & explaining everything right before closing during the walk thru, he is gr8 at his job, so other than that, it was a gr8 experience

This was definitely not a good time to build…it took 8 months from contract signing to close. Options were not explained in detail when selecting upgrade options.

Awesome place to leave

I hate to use the word nightmare because I’ve certainly experienced worse. But you definitely don’t get what you pay for. Here I am a month I’m still waiting for someone to come fix the windows that won’t close, paint our outside veranda, install missing lights, and bring missing pieces to our blinds. Upgrades you pay for you have to remind them you paid for or you don’t get them: examples is crown molding, tray ceilings etch What we had to get fixed during the process was crazy: missing screens, attic unit missing pipe covers, shotty painting, wrong tile in kitchen, missing light over shower, chipped and cracked marble/granite, etc. And we put down over 40% cash on this house and got a house I could only compare to a sad reflection on workmanship of what they show you in the model. They take some sweet time building for 6 months and then it’s a mad dash the last 2 weeks to get it ready to move in. I will never build with centex or Pulte again. I’ll stick with Taylor Morrison who for a townhome we had for $100 less what was better quality. ... More

Overall very happy with my new home!!

Being a first time home buyer I was excited & nervous entering the whole process. My realator Shellod and Centex made it simple! OJ at the centex comminity was amazing from the 1st time I stepped foot in the office! Tim (builder ) was soooooo awesome throughout the building process and was knowledgeable about everything that I had questions about even though he covered all points from the start. Took about 7 months to build the home entirely and I was able to watch it come to life each step of the way. The lenders kept in touch with the community and closing day I was able to get in and out leaving with my brand new homes keys!! The market is rising and I came in with equity! I’m not sure that I have enough space to truly voice my disappointment for this whole process; both sales and building. I wouldn’t recommend this team of builders, nor the mortgage company they offer, during the buying process. At the end of the day, I didn’t feel like a valued home owner. I was met with arrogance, ignorance, miscommunication, lack of respect. But I’m home, I guess.

Through all of the material delays due to COVID Tim and his team worked incredibly hard to build my home with quality, integrity, and care within a timely manner. Tim remained in constant communication providing updates throughout the process. I am very pleased with my home and grateful for the entire Pulte team!
