Overall the beginning of the buying journey was good. You had consistent support, but after moving in I notice multiple areas that shows the poor quality of drywall and other work in the house. I have been unable to submit a claim because the customer service teams does not return your calls. It is critical to have a reliable POC after closing to address issues.

Once we started the process, the communication process was clear and any question was quickly answered. We were updated regularly during the build. And final steps and closing was smooth. I have no issues and continue to enjoy the house.

Decided to have a house built and was eager to be able to watch its progress. Started noticing problems when the framing was done with a lot of splits in some of the 2x4s. I was told they were not structural and where they were, they just added a second one next to it. Roofing was subcontracted out to another company who blatantly put it on wrong. This was brought up to them and I was told it was in the manual and approved. I am now having to deal with a leaking roof 52 days after closing. Besides that the insulation and drywall was good with the exception that it took almost 10 weeks to complete putting the whole build a month behind schedule. Most of the plumbing used was cheap flex tube and all A/C vents were also flex. I guess it was a good thing considering the project manager managed to flood the bathroom and the flex A/C vent routed half of the water to the basement. Other than that, I have had random small things like different door locks put on the wrong doors, outside dryer vent wasn’t even attached to the house, etc. that I have had to fix or get fixed. There is a lot of attention to detail that gets left off and hinders the quality of the build. I appreciate Centex team's positive mindset and best efforts for making customer's experience the most comfortable and satisfying. I only deducted one star for the value, because of "no deck" and some "do it yourself" items, which put me in slight disadvantage compared to secondary market options in this neighborhood. Also, backyard soil packed with rocks with no sod may cause additional expenses in the future. Apart from this, most of issues I pointed during inspection, were fixed, and I am very happy overall. Its been a month moving into the home and there’s been a rook leak already which spread out to multiple rooms. I have raised a service request and still not resolved

As a whole, our home buying and building experience was good and I feel like we got a good value on our home. Construction was quick, and the construction and sale people were responsive, kind, and very helpful. As a whole, the quality of the home is good. There are a lot of minor issues that have stemmed from poor subcontractors; i.e. plumbing fixtures loose, some even off-center, a lot of paint spots that needed another coat or touch up, issues with the flooring that could have been easily avoided, the cleaners were practically non-existent despite coming out twice (literally had to clean off dirt footprints off of a closet door). If you buy from Pulte/Centex, I would say in the end you'll likely end up with a home you love, but DEFINITELY get a pre-drywall and final general inspection if able in order to catch any issues that could be more problematic. ... I have so many walls that aren't even square, Flooring scratched up, cabinets broken, water damage spots in master bath, literally keep finding more and more stuff in this home. The construction manager is an idiot, doesn't know anything, literally had no clue what fire blocking was and tells me these homes don't have them when in fact we do. The studs arent 16" on center or even uniformed, studs range from 17"-32" in space, absolutely ridiculous. Pulled the inspection reports for this home through the city and alot of preliminary issues that our agent didn't even tell us. Again, just a crappy home and ill NEVER waste my money with Centex/Pulte again. Y'all suck! ... More

We had to wait a couple weeks to use our dryer because they covered up the dryer vent. And we found dead birds in our vent. And had to wait for that to be cleaned

Centex was very communicative, answers all your questions no matter how bizarre, or regardless of your experience level buying homes. The most important part of buying a home for me was wondering how the experience we had with them up to closing would change if any after buying. If it weren’t for the Project Manager Blaine we would’ve walked away from this home. The sales office are bullies and rude but after speaking with the builder and him making himself available to the community has helped.

Great sales process through closing to 30 days after moving into new house, Centex brings it all together with many teams of people that are focused on creating great customer service.

All new home buyers are encouraged to check on their new build, frequently, to ensure dates are met, promises are kept and things are on track to close as documented.

Still waiting for the external trim problem to be replaced. It has sharp corners that will cut someone's hand and quality of workmanship poor. I addressed this with Michael again this week. This my 4 or 5 discussion about the problem since before purchasing the house. Someone pretended to adjust the problem by adding large globs of silicone to the sharp corners and rough edged opening that were not turned -in correctly in a professional manner.
