Was very impressed overall with the builder and the quality of materials available. I appreciated the different upgrades to tend to different needs. I do wish for the paint upgrade that I could've changed the finish.

For reasons that I don't even recall, I had originally not had a great opinion of Centex as a builder. I had to be convinced by my realtor that they really were reliable. I signed my contract to build days before my state shut down due to Covid-19. I waited months for the house to be built and I was getting antsy, even considering pulling out of my agreement. Throughout the process, my two contacts at Pulte, Mary, who sold me the home, and Karen, my design consultant, continued to take all of my concerns seriously, never getting impatient, even as I expressed my hesitations about following through. There was never a pressure sale, but always an attempt at working with me to address the issues of concern. A good example of the measures that Mary and Karen took to help me occurred when I was informed, right before the start of construction of my house, that the color scheme for the siding of the house was no longer available due to problems from the supplier. At first they just asked me to choose from among other colors, none of which I liked. When they realized how important this was to me, they scoured the country looking for the siding that I wanted, until Karen finally found it and informed me. My contract allowed Centex to force me to choose another color. Mary and Karen could have simply left it at that, allowing me to pull out of my contract, knowing that they could sell my lot very quickly. But, they didn't. The next person I worked with was my field manager, Kelly. Kelly was a non-nonsense worker, who never tried to talk fast or talk down to me. I asked questions all of the time, sometimes repeating questions. He never expressed impatience with me and always responded within 24 hours, but usually within a couple of hours. Kelly's work with me continues to this day, even weeks after closing, as he has fulfilled his promise to make sure that any issues that weren't addressed before closing would be addressed. Right before I closed, I went to the house for a final walkthrough, and it had been pouring rain for days. Water was pooling against the house and the foundation on one side looked torn apart. It was shocking. I didn't know what I was seeing and called Kelly immediately. Kelly came again right away to meet us and explain that the "torn apart" look was not of the foundation, but just of the insulation. He explained that the insulation was torn up temporarily to help with issues next door. He then described all of the engineering measures that Centex had taken to protect the foundation, given the grade of the land. I have nothing but high praise for the three main contacts I had at Centex. If you find one good person working for a company, it doesn't necessarily reflect on the company, but just on that person. However, when you continue to find such friendly, professional, and competent people, that gives evidence that the company is probably doing something right, to attract and keep such people. I was very happy with my design consultant Karen, she was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and design changes. Kelly the field manager responsible for my house was awesome. He was very responsive to all of my emails and questions and followed through promptly.

I’ve been in my home for a month now. Nice neighborhood and my home is exactly the way I wanted it.

I've lived in several homes in my life. This one has many positive attributes with few negative ones. Overall, a very well built house.

Good buy

Overall my wife and I have had a great experience buying our new home. It was designed by a previous home buyer who received military orders before they could close, so we were very lucky to find it. The overall design and layout are perfect! The closing experience was very easy, and our field manager has been awesome! Only gave four stars on workmanship because we recently sprung a leak in our master bathroom shower... However, the warranty service is very quick to respond and we have a plumber scheduled to do the repairs within a few days.

I was satisfied by the service provided including taking the time to walk through all quality checks and willingness to fix problems quickly.

The sales person (Kamona) and the construction supervisor during the house inspection (Carter) were great to work with. Centex customer service have been very responsive to the warranty issues (there's always a few things) after moving into the new home. Only thing that stood out in a negative way was the low-end kitchen faucet installed; no hose, no spray option, just a plain, cheap swivel neck faucet. Considering the price of the house and so many details that were well done, could not imagine who decided to save $100 on a decent kitchen faucet. The cost to us will now be hundreds of dollars (faucet cost + plumber cost). ... More

Our entire process went very well. The builder was incredibly helpful and continues to check in when he sees me outside to make sure things are going well.

Senior management's response on the difficulty of rate extension and quality issues are amazingly helpful to make the purchase process less stressed.

Timely delivery of the home without any delay is very much admirable. Construction manager was a great person to work with and definitely helpful. Got some issues with appliances which is not expected for a new home

I am extremely happy with the work that was done on our home! The craftsmanship is great and the home is beautiful. The only thing that I can nitpick about is the type of shrubs that were planted and the quality of sod that was laid. Other than that everything was exactly the way we wanted it and we are enjoying our new home.

This is the third home/builder we've had over the past 30+ years and by far it is the best experience we've had. Communication with sales associate and field manager was great throughout the selection and building process. The home was completed on time and most issues or concerns we've had have been addressed quickly and completely.

The team was great fron the sales, design, support, build quality, on field and the support team. This makes the process much less stressful than Otherwise. Want to particularly state that the field project lead was understanding and prompt about communicating. This made us feel at ease. To be honest the whole team made us feel welcome and were truly professional and friendly. This is a important choice and decision and we are glad that we chose Centex.

At the time we began the building process we were able to select individual upgrades to help us age in place. We stayed away from other builders that used packages as a way to select and personalize the new homes. We loved that Centex allowed us to make the best selections as individuals for our families needs.
